When it comes to "standard" buffalo wings, it doesn't get any better. A lot of other places are getting too creative with wings when they can't even get the basics right. I've been a WTG lover since 92', my first exposure to wings. I've been searching for the "perfect wings' for the last 10 years and WTG or this particular location seems to get things done right. What I love about WTG is: - Sauce - The sauce is very flavorful and not some homogenized goo. (see bottom). Their lower sauces (med-hot) are actually the tastiest. Higher levels are made of different peppers? Think Frank's Red-Hot up to Hot or X-Hot. - Fries - These are just PLAIN GOOD potato fries! Simple! Best fries ever! - Blue Cheese - They use a good variety (Ken's commercial?) and I recommend you order the ones they pack on location in Dixie cups instead of the pre-made and labeled ones. The only con: - Sometimes the wings are small and weak. Wish they did it by weight :) The secret: I'd like to share my method of eating these wings and its why this is my favorite place. I always order EXTRA EXTRA sauce on the wings (aim for wing soup). By the time you get home, the thick-sauce will settle to the bottom and the clear fat will raise to the top. Slowly pour out the top fat without loosing the thick orange sauce. Get rid of as much clear fat as possible. Shake the wings in the container and eat! Dip fries or cheese steaks in the sauce! What you end up with is THICK TASTY buffalo sauce that's a brilliant color of orange. You won't get a 'greasy stomach' feeling either. So you need EXTRA sauce because half of it is the clear fat you will dump out. Try this and you'll never look back. Recommend medium or hot. These guys just do the original, classic wings right! I like their sauces but won't return. SMALLEST WINGS of all places I order from, I'm talking half the size of other shops. Simply pathetic to sell these / charge what they do. I was embarrassed when I opened our 140 dollar order this past Friday for extended family visiting for the holidays. This is the second time I am saying I won't return for the same reason. Gave these guys a try simply for the fact that I was in peoples plaza and they were Right there. Big mistake! Tiny wings, some oddly deformed with barely any meat. And the "Caribbean Jerk" sauce that they were swimming in could have a been anything. It tasted like regular hot sauce with a little seasoning(compare to wild wings Caribbean jerk which is fantastic). The mango habanero wings were solid and not swimming, but still extremely tiny wings. Disappointing that a place with wings in their name can't do a good wing. Won't be back. Went there before seeing a movie. Ordered food to eat in and sat to wait. Came around 6:30 to eat before a 7:15 movie and ended up waiting almost the whole 45 minutes. When we went to see where the food was the employee told us it was ready and has been sitting on the counter for about 30 min. The employee just sat the food on the counter and never said anything. There were several other people in there so I assumed it was someone else's food or a pick up order, how was I supposed to know it was mine if it was just silently placed there without any acknowledgment? When we asked the employee about it they came back at us with a bad attitude. The employee also couldn't figure out how to work the register or give change. The wings are delicious, the place is clean. The little older heavy set Spanish lady that cooks is always a pleasure & always honors our request exceptionally ! But the younger Spanish girl that takes the orders & answers phones; she needs to either quit or have management give her an attitude adjustment. It's clear & obvious she hates her job or is anti human. She's rude, disrespectful, screams at customers & makes the whole experience awkward & makes ya feel like you are unwanted & imposing on her time to be on her cell phone. We went there about 2 months ago, around 7:30pm ish, we order, sit & wait for the wings , takes about 30 mins . Ok no big deal. We are now eating our food. Unknown to us; they close at 9m. @ approx 8:30ish this girl starts cleaning (sweeping, mopping etc...) my husband & my myself are finishing up. The lady screamed across the restaurant "U have to leave now". Us , confused said "excuse me, what?" Which she replies "u have to leave I need to close u can't be in here, we close at 9pm" I look at my watch it was about 8:40. We were getting our trash together to put in the garbage : OBVIOUSLY making our way to leave. My husband said to her "we are cleaning up & leaving" my husband went to get a refill on his drink & the lady lost her mind. She came about 10ft from the table & was so belligerent basically screaming "Get out now, I have to close , I'm calling the manager & security" which at that time I was pissed & called her bluff i said for her to call the manager & I wanted to speak to him , she called security told them we were refusing to leave & she felt threatened! The she called the manager & was screaming At him about how she feared for safety! My husband said "screw this let's go it's not worth the aggravation " we walk out she FOLLOWS US! The service was acceptable as the young lady was professional and answered all my questions about the different sauces for the chicken wings. She admitted to what she knew and didn't. Much respect for being honest. But the wings I ordered (16 wings) where the smallest I have experienced in a LONG time and lacked any meat. First time ordering from WTG and most likely the last. Sadly, the Indian restaurant just a few store fronts down, had the meaty wings and flavors which I ordered from two weeks prior. If you want real chicken wings, WTG is not the place. read more

I had never been to a wings to go and I wanted some wings so I figured a place with wings in the name would be perfect. Negative. The wings were tiny and had so much sauce it was almost unbearable. I'm the type that doesn't want to see any dry spots on the wing and there was way to much sauce for me. I also ordered the "buffalo" shrimp and I'm not sure what made them buffalo because they just had plain breading. Luckily I still had the 5 gallons of extra sauce from my hot wings to toss them in. 8 of the tiniest wings I've ever had and 6 non buffalo buffalo shrimp for just over $17 is pretty terrible. I ordered meals to go this evening and we went to pick them up... upon arriving home, I realized that my order was completely wrong. I called them and told them about it, and they told me that the solution was for me to bring back the wrong order and they would make it correctly. They refused to refund me for the wrong order because they "made it right". I explained that I had to go 40 minutes out of my way to correct it, my family all had to eat without me, and that I was just asking them to refund me as a courtesy. I spoke with a manager Alexis Ruger, who was very cruel to me, telling me that they were under no circumstances going to give me a refund and that "that's just the way life is". I've never been treated so rudely, and I do plan to go to corporate- both about the policy and the way their management treats people. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I ordered 45 wings via phone. They said it would take 15 minutes to make the order. When I showed up I seen the two employees playing with a cell phone on a back table. No work going on in the store. I said I had a pick up and the lady said ok. I told her my name and she said no order. Verifying the number I found out I made a call to the wrong store. They attempted to call this store and told me I could drive 40 mins to go pick them up at the right store it was against policy to make my food. I said I'm sorry can you just make my order and both girls chimed in with a resounding no. It's against store policy and asked me to go to the other store to pick up my order. I have never been turned away for service. More so from a restaurant that has zero patrons in the establishment and lost a returning customer. The food was always mediocre at best but it was quick for the most part. This is beyond disgusting both young employees are back playing cell phones and laughing. Currently (only because it is morning and I'm not hungry or under the influence) I am wondering which horrible chicken farm Wings To Go buys their "fruit" from. Shoving that horror to the back of my mind: Delaware, land of chickens, has given us this one college-student run haven where your taste buds tingle under the overly coated syrup of deep-fried chicken wings. Talk about run-on sentences, errors never made here, as your mouth remains full of cheap, crispy goodness during your entire stay. Wings also offers deals like 5 boneless/regular wings, fries, and a coke for a few under 10 bucks- which is any college student's dream. Also, if wings aren't your thing, the location doubles as a "Freddy's Wraps" offering a variety of other delicacies full of our favorite fatty acids. Of course, I wouldn't dare end this review without a much needed tip: If ordering 5 regular wings, you will get 5 regular wings (I myself am a believer in gnawing meat on the bone) BUT if you order 5 boneless wings, you will get a mountain of meat that really offers you the most bang for you buck. Placed my order last night and received a confirmation that it would be ready at 11 AM today for pickup. Got there 10 minutes early so waited in the car and walked to the door at 11:00, and stood there almost 5 minutes till they opened the door. Paid for my order only to discover they didn't have it ready. It was even started. I sat down and waited only to discover that my order of 2 items were being fried one at a time so I had to wait. Also saw the woman on her cell phone after the 1st order was ready and she finally got off the phone. In the meantime, I saw the other young lady touching the fries with her bare hands that she was frying. I finally got my order at 11:25 and told her I will never be back, and she just stared at me. This is NOT the 1st time I have had issues at this store. Several times, they had no celery, and there have been times when the order was incorrect. I just spent $42 today for wings and I am not a happy camper. No apology was given. Good luck staying open. read more

Honestly very disappointing. This is a last time I am ordering. The food came in after 50 min and I am half mile away (but can walk after an injuries). It was not rushhour as I passed my order around 4pm. The delivery guy didn't say hi, thanks or bye. I had given tips trough my online order, but I got to give nearly 5 dollars of tips for a 8.99dollars menu. Because the delivery guy didn't have change. They knew I will pay with cash as indicated when I ordered. I am a student and i didn't found it fair. This is the most expensive wings I ever ate. But you could think, ok this time was bad luck...But I went 4 times because this is way closer to my place and they deliver.. I wanted to like Wings to go, but I never got a very positive experience. The fries have a weird taste, probably by using the same oil to fry different food. The wings were by far less nice than buffalo wild wings.
