    Tuesday is ladies day

I was looking for a light lunch and saw Potstickers wasn't far from my hotel. The host was friendly and immediately took me to my table. My waitress was attentive without being over bearing. I ordered the potsticker sampler and a sea dragon roll. The potsticker sampler came with 1 of each: chicken, shrimp, veggie, pork & beef. They were all flavorful but the beef was my least favorite. It tasted like a hamburger in a potsticker. The sea dragon roll was good but I added wasabi to give it some spice. Overall, I would go back to potstickers when I'm in the area.

Came on election night and the place was somewhat busy but not all tables were full. There was no hostess so we waited at the front. After a little while I peeked around the front table towards the bar and the bar tender said he would be right over. Then as he was looking around for the hostess or someone he helped get our menus and a table. The waitress took a really long time to come over and take our order. My drink came out first and my husband had to remind the waitress about his. The bar wasn't crowded. It seemed they were just understaffed for the dining area. The sushi was very good. I ordered some with salmon and tuna rolls. My husband really liked the mango chicken. Would maybe go back but might call to see if they are short staffed first.

Service was good in the variety on the menu was nice. the eel and tuna was very good! The lobster dumplings did not taste very good, more like cardboard, as if it was prepared a week ago. Definitely could not taste any lobster. Good location with plenty of parking.

    Crispy Beef. Yum

Loved the atmosphere and our server was excellent. The food here is so delicious. This is my favorite asian restaurant. You have to get the potsticker sampler and the spring rolls. My husband's favorite dish is the pork fried rice. I love everything!!

I have had takeout from Potstickers several times. I prefer their sushi over the regular food menu. I tried the chicken with stir fry veggies. The flavor was there but the chicken was tough. The sushi is fresh and the portion sizes are good. I always save room for dessert. The mini donut dessert is covered in cinnamon sugar and served with a caramel, chocolate and raspberry dipping sauce. I always ask for ice cream too!

Double Happiness Roll and Happy Samurai Roll

In terms of my experience with Potstickers food and in-house service, I'd give them five stars. However, the takeout service is very inconsistent which is why I'll rate them as a solid four. Even pre-COVID, there's very long waits for takeout and they don't provide accurate wait times. The double happiness and happy samurai rolls are delicious, especially if you like rolls with spicy mayo and other sauces. I also love their lettuce wraps, the portion is very generous and I almost always have leftovers. I've never ordered anything here that I didn't like, though. Even if you aren't a sushi fan, they have a wide variety of other dishes. When I dined in here on Saturday they were definitely busy, so I'd recommend making a reservation. Service was quick and our waitress was very attentive, even though it was during their dinner time rush.

I ordered an expensive sushi roll with avocado on top and it was dark brown and had black spots on it. It tastes old and I couldn't eat it. I also ordered the lettuce wraps and the chicken was dry and old. When I called the restaurant to find a resolution, they did nothing but make excuses. One of the men actually tried to say they put sauce on the avocado. I eat avocados often and know an old one when I see it.

#latepost To provide some background, I came here for dinner one evening while traveling for business, since I was in the area. At the time this place did not have their liquor license or were working on acquiring it again, which did not bother me, as I was not drinking since I was feeling under the weather at the time. But I am providing 4 stars right off the bat for that reason as if folks were expecting to come here for happy hour (they have one!) or drinks with dinner, they would have been disappointed. From what I can tell from recent review pictures, it seems like that has since changed and they are serving alcohol now. 5/5 on the food though! I ordered a herbal tea and it comes served in an adorable little tea pot. This place also served dinner rolls, which happen to be sweet, while you are waiting for your entree, and they came out warm and were very delicious. For my entree I ordered two sushi rolls off their creative rolls menu - the angry tuna roll and double happiness roll. Both were fresh and were absolutely delicious. I travel to this area often enough for business that I can confidently say, this is a good spot to go to for fresh sushi. Lastly, I came here on a weekday so it was quiet in the restaurant, but it seems like it can get very busy on a weekend.

Thhe inside seating of the place

So good! I went there with my family while on a road trip and the place was about to close but they let us sit down and eat anyway. The food was amazing And all the staff was very nice! The place itself was very large and the seats were very comfy.

Stopped in Saturday, February 3rd. 2024 at 2:30 p.m. was served quickly. Friendly service. We thought the food was very good. We ordered the pot sticker sampler for two and scallion pancakes. Everything was delicious to us.

Bok choy and shiitake mushrooms with brown rice

On our way through Delaware, we pulled into the potstickers parking lot, for a quick bite to eat while we were heading northwards. We weren't sure if we were going to eat at the gastropub, the Mexican food or pot stickers, but we picked potstickers based on what we thought would be a quick meal, which it ended up not being. When we walked in, we immediately noticed that it seemed like equal parts restaurant and nightclub. We also noticed that they had a Tuesday evening girls night promotion which included very inexpensive alcoholic beverages for females, making it a quite loud evening. We were seated quickly, and met Nancy our server, who gave us our menus. I was surprised at how much potstickers tries to do with their menu. They have an extensive Japanese menu, a sushi menu, a Chinese menu, and items that are Korean, Hawaiian, and even Thai. The interior is extremely eclectic, with themes that remind me of PF changs and also nightclubs of my past including uplit bars and rotating mirrored balls. I started with a hot green tea ($3.50) and then we ordered the scallion pancakes appetizer ($6.95), and for our entrees we chose the Kung Pao chicken ($17.95) and bok choy with shiitake mushrooms ($12.95). While we waited for our food, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. The lady's restroom was interesting to say the least, with the giant I mean Costco sized Listerine bottle, multiple body sprays, perfumes, toothpicks, and other items that I'm not used to seeing in bathrooms in restaurants. Very odd unless you think of it in the sense of a "spruce up between songs at the club" sort of way. The tear arrived first with the scallion pancakes. The tea was good but nothing special, and the scallion pancakes were extremely oily and soggy, not the crispy and flavorful onion dotted crisps I was hoping for. The scallion pancakes did however come with a side of kimchi which I thought was interesting given that it was Delaware, and the kimchi was surprisingly pretty good, but that was the only part of the dish that was enjoyable. We left most of it on the table uneaten. When the entrance came out, we thought we had another shot on the restaurant redeeming itself. Hubby had the kung pao chicken with a side of white rice, and he stated that it was about the same or worse than Panda Express, which I thought was saying something. My bok choy with shiitake mushrooms and a side of brown rice was the only real dish that earned them any stars. The bok choy was fresh and sweet, but even so the mushrooms seemed like they were either dried and rehydrated or pre-packaged. Either way they were not fresh and they were very rubbery. Shiitake mushrooms are packed with flavor and health benefits, but I couldn't get past this texture, and I cook them frequently so I don't know how they would have gotten it this way if it wasn't rehydrated or pre-packaged. The sauce over the dish was very mild and plain, however it was quite healthy in terms of being low sodium and I tried to think of it in those terms to try and eat as much as I could. The service was friendly but not very fast despite the fact that by the time our food was coming out, most of the people were only on drinks. Also, I felt like the dishes were overpriced, given their lack of quality and general lack of presentation, especially for the $18 plate of Kung Pao chicken which was mostly vegetables and peanuts. The ambiance was lacking, given that it had an extremely clubbing vibe, and parking was difficult even on a Tuesday late evening. I'm not sure what the food scene is in Delaware, but this restaurant did little for us while we were passing through and if we were in the area again we would not return.

The beef satay was also okay but lacking in true flavor (need longer marinade). The hainan chicken was mediocre. Meat was tender enough but soy sauce was not flavorful enough and they don't serve chicken rice here which is truly the star of a real Hainan chicken dish. The char kway teow did not taste at all like the real thing. Very bland, no sausages, barely any seafood and no char. The vegetables were also mediocre. Probably would not return
