    Shrimp and spicy crab burrito
    Lana S.

Had high hopes for this place. Maybe it's because I came in during an off lunch time. When I walked it no one was at the counter. There was a table full of people there but that was it. I waited for 5 mins and almost left before two people came out and made my food. It's kind of like a sushi/poke Chipotle where they have premade ingredients then make your food in front of you. I got the shrimp sushi burrito. The ingredients looked like it's sat there for hours but at least they give you a lot of food! I took it home and ate it. I got lots of spicy crab meat bit barely any shrimp. The ingredients were uneven in the burrito. Other than that it tasted pretty good. I think I like the poke place in my town then driving to Newark for this sushi burrito.

PoBu burrito with cucumbers instead of edamame

My go-to in PoBu is the PoBu burrito with cucumber instead of edamame, although I've tried other burritos and you can't go wrong with any of them! There is a very good balance of fish, rice, and veggies in each burrito and you can always ask for soy sauce or ginger on the side. The burritos are huge so you may even get two meals out of it. The downside is you will likely smell like fried oil when you leave PoBu but it is worth it. I also wish they have chopsticks (didn't see any) and silverware instead of plastic utensils.

Went back here again a couple days after the last time bc it was so good lol , I think I met the owner this time but she was very sweet, super duper friendly. Again I got the same thing I got last time, it was great as always. I think next time I'll try their Poke Bowls or maybe a different type of burrito. Sn: Make sure your HUNGRY if you're going by yourself because the burritos are big and filling, this time I didn't finish mine so I just recommend going on an empty stomach.

    PoBu Acai Bowl
    Jenny P.

Word of advice to this establishment: do not sell acai bowls. No, it is not normal to buy acai bowls at a sushi place, especially since there are acai bowl establishments on Main Street now like Viva Bowls and Playa Bowls. But I wanted to give Pobu a try. Upon walking in and ordering an acai bowl, the employee turns to another and asked, "do we have acai here?" They proceeded to look at each other blankly since neither of them were trained to make these bowls. I should have taken this as a red flag. One of the employees proceeded to ask which acai bowl I wanted to order, so I put in my order and waited patiently. What really bothered me, was when I was handed my acai bowl. The bowl was not even half way filled (pictures below)!! I proceeded to ask the employee if the contents in these bowls are usually this scarce as I couldn't believe they would charge $7 for the amount that they served. She then answered, "we use little packets of fruit" and then told me the cost. It is just shocking that they think it is okay to serve this little and charge so much!! The employee did not seem to care that I was dissatisfied and did not attempt to solve the issue at hand. I can't speak for the poke bowls and sushi burritos, but please, spare your wallet and do not buy acai bowls here. Recommendation to the owner/manager: Maybe look to serve your acai bowls in a smaller container to make it look more full because it is really unacceptable for a customer to receive an order that is barely half filled.

    Holy Crab Burrito

SUSHI BURRITOS?! Just when I thought sushi couldn't get any better. This was a random plan I had with a friend and we decided to order takeout from PoBu. I think that the burritos are great price point. They are a decent size and stuffed with food. I ordered the holy cow burrito which was very delicious. The crab was a little different that what I was expecting but still pretty good. If you're looking for something new to try in Main Street this is it.

Beautiful presentation. The flavors, played off each other perfectly, and the freshness of everything, was like a party in my mouth!

It's hard to find a good poke bowl place in the Delaware area, but this one had the most fresh fish so I highly recommend this place.

    Tokyo Moe's
    Brittany C.

Delicious burritos! Tried the Tokyo Moe's and the Pobu burritos and enjoyed both. Tokyo is super filling if you get it fried - would recommend splitting 2 with a friend so you can try another, too. Staff was super friendly, too, and no wait.

Okay so there's not much to say about Newark besides its grand reservoir and nice biking trails, but this new spot takes it up a notch in my book. Poké (poh-Kay) is the type of meal you want to have if you're really hungry, trying to be healthy, and love sushi. It's sushi is a bowl basically--Hawaiian style. A single bowl will run you about ten bucks, but fills you up like AYCE sushi. The fish is pretty fresh. I always opt for salmon, but opted to add ahi tuna as well for $2 more. The sauces are great. Their spicy mayo is a kicker here so next time I'll ask to go light. My boyfriend repeatedly said his shrimp tempura burrito was delicious. Service was great, patient and friendly as it should be. The seating arrangement in the small dining area needs to be rearranged. It's a tad awkward and I can see the place filling up quickly. They should add something where the ordering line starts leading up to the cash register which will separate it from the dining area. I was a little confused where to order when we walked in. This place is a new hot spot for us and I'm extremely jealous how close my bf lives to it.

I did take a bite before taking the pic. Not a big portion but for the price I think it's good enough.

They were awesome. The soup was rich and flavorful and the dumpling was soft. We got the miso ramen, the beef noodle soup and the seafood noodle soup. These broths were incredible. I went with Soup Dumplings, Japanese Shu Mai, and Beef Udon Noodles. All was very good. Perfect meal for a cold night. In my opinion the soup (in the soup dumplings) was light on flavor, but still good. The Shu Mai was full of flavor and the perfect crunch, and the udon noodles were very good. I would definitely go back and try more new things.
