Without a doubt, the best Asian fusion... Thai Malaysian, sushi ... they have incredible variety, and dishes you won't find elsewhere. Over two years of eating here when visiting the area, (I and my wife visit the area every summer to sail the area.) Nasi is our first choice for a nice lunch or dinner out. They always treat us like family... very friendly and kind. Nasi recently updated the interior to a more open plan, with tables along one side, and the sushi bar on the other. Having always ordered Malaysian dishes, we tried their sushi on our most recent visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. Still, our favorite dishes draw from the Malaysian fare; a rare and delicious variety.

Thai Basil Fried Rice

This used to be my favorite place.. even though the staffs are rude especially the host or the manager.. Their food was good. But today Thai Basil Fried rice was horrible.. when I tried to tell them it's not what it used to be and has a smell. She just told me this is how it is. Strawberry boba tea was bland. Chicken satay is the same and roti canai is the same.. Hope they work on customer service and their fried rice

Their food was good. I highly recommend the chicken curry. I did order edamame as an appetizer and they only serve that cold, which was disappointing. Service was ok. It'd be nicer if the seating was a bit more spaced out.

Absolutely hands down the best sushi I have ever had!!!! The godzilla roll and the hair monkey were TO DIE FOR!!! So much so that I ordered a 3rd roll and could've stayed there all night just chowing down!!!! Good wine selection as well, and very attentive service.

If you like to try something more adventurous, you may want to give here a try. This is a family owned restaurant that specialize in Malaysian and Southeast Asian flavors. It is one of the few places that serves Beef Rendang ( Malaysian Beef Curry ) in this part of the US. Beef Rendang was featured on Food Network done by Gordon Ramsay. The sushi selection here is also quite good, with many types of house rolls and specialty rolls. All dishes are flavorful, and reasonable in price. Staff are friendly and attentive. Seating and tables are cozy, and comes with a bar. And if you're in northern part of Delaware, you can also visit their sister restaurant, Rasa Sayang on Rt 202. They have almost the exact menu as Nasi.

While visiting my dad in DE this is the 3rd time, we have ordered take-out from Nasi. All three times we have been happy with the delicious food, friendly service, and prices. It's certainly an Asian Fusion establishment with sushi, Thai and Malaysian entrees. We have ordered Thai Basil Vegetables with Chicken, Mango Chicken, Red Curry Vegetables, Shrimp Drunken Noodles and the Volcano Roll All the entrees were great as well as the sushi. Even though our entrees, were marked as "Spicy" nothing was particularly hot. Everything was flavorful, but not spicy at all. Many of the entrees have base prices of just vegetables and then an uncharge for chicken, shrimp or pork. So everything can be customized to your liking.

Yummy Roll.

Overall food and service experience were good but there are few things I just wanted to point out as a POV. I ordered the Yummy sushi roll and the crabmeat and shrimp tempura over sushi rice, the shrimp tempura is cold and not crunchy, just plain HARD and the sushi rice on the other dish was COLD and slightly hard. Satay chicken and Mee Siam was GREAT!!!! Thai tea is okay.

"Malay Thai Sushi" is a new combo for us so we didn't know what to expect walking in. The first thing we ran into was a guy standing behind a counter, much like a bouncer in a bar, but for take out orders. Once we walked past that we saw the seated area and was briskly shown a booth. The menu is extensive and as veggies we had more than a few options. We tried a red curry and drunken noodles. My dining partner loved her red curry, slurping it up like soup! The drunken noodles were also really good. We ate almost everything.

They were helpful with recommendations when we were ordering, but they didn't really refill our water or check in on us. 6/10 The Roti Canai was warm, flaky, crispy, and chewy. 7/10. My only issue was the dipping sauce. I expected something thicker, but it was more soupy and also tasted pretty bland. The Hainanese Chicken was soft with a savory sauce. It was my first time trying it, and it was good for what it was, but nothing particularly special to me. 6/10. The Nasi Lemak was easily my favorite. 8.5/10. So comforting! The chicken had a nice savory curry flavor, and the sweet lemongrass veggies combined with the anchovies created such an explosion of flavors. I would definitely get this again. Overall, the price is so good for the amount and variety of food you get!

If you need some recommendations: - Mee Siam is one of the best eats in Chinatown - Beef rendang - Roti - Green curry casserole - Satay combo - Coconut rice (surprisingly good) The upside is that the food is great and the prices are pretty reasonable. The downside is that the service can be so-so (as is the case with a lot of spots in Chinatown), and the QR menu simply needs to disappear forever. It's kinda wild that they have no pictures on a menu for a cuisine that is not super well-known in the US. On the whole tho, I'd pretty much eat there anytime.

They had this amazing Malaysian pulled milk tea called Teh Tarik and Kaya Toast. The Teg Tarik was sweet but not too sweet. It was interested how they stirred the tea similar to in India where they move it from one container to another in a juggling type fashion. The Kaya Toast was crispy and had this amazing coconut custard in the middle.

Kampar is close to home, so it's been on our list for a while, especially since our Malaysian cuisine experience is scant. We easily made reservations with friends for a Friday night. The reservation process is a little confusing since you can make res for downstairs or upstairs; the downstairs area features rotating chefs and their cuisines vs the upstairs area is true Kampar. We were happy to dine in the upstairs dining room, which had great ambience and vibes. It was dark and moody with simple candles and artwork around, plus a chill playlist. Our server was helpful in walking us through the menu and providing suggestions on number of dishes, etc. We started off with drinks. I love how their menu was separated into various types of drinks (light & bright, spirit forward, fun & fundamental, etc.), and I was blown away by all the unique pairings in each drink. It was a tough decision, but I opted for the Karbonat, which featured beet, sweet potato, and mandarin flavors - it was so fun and delicious! For round 2, I went for the coconut clarified whiskey tarik, loving the inclusion of banana leaf and Japanese vermouth. All my dining partners also really enjoyed their drinks, having a mixture of cocktails and wines / beers (something for everyone!). For eats, we debated just getting the Kenduri, where the chef simply cooks for you, vs ordering on our own. We ultimately decided to choose our own adventure, ordering the goat rendang, sayur goreng, ayam goreng berempah, and chili pan mee to split. We each got our own nasi lamak to soak up all the goodies. Every dish was beautifully crafted with quality ingredients and was so delicious. I lvoed the presentation of the nasi lamak, and my standout dishes were the rendang and ayam goreng berempah (a surprise hit). We all enjoyed each dish, and we were sufficiently full with this shared order (too stuffed for dessert, though). The price is reasonable - we spent less with our method of ordering than we would have with getting the tasting menu. The cocktails were a little on the pricier side, but given the uniqueness of the drinks, I get it. Kampar did not disappoint, and it was a great meal to share with friends. I was (and still am) shocked to hear about the devastating fire and prolonged impact, so I am keeping my eyes peeled to hear about their hopefully soon reopening!

The community of shops and restaurants here were fun to explore, but I wouldn't say this restaurant is a place tourists need to visit. They open at 11:00am and when we arrived at ~11:10am, we were the first customers there. The interior is a bit dim but sunlight from their narrow storefront helped illuminate the place. It smelled a bit musky inside too but not intolerable. I ordered the N11 and my friend ordered the N1. We shared an order of chicken satay. The chicken satay was underwhelming especially given how they market it as their top item. The meat was tender but not as tender and juicy as I was hoping. The satay sauce was sweet and peanut forward (not like peanut butter) which was nice but I was hoping for more umami. I ended up enjoying the cucumbers at the bottom of this dish more than the actual meat and sauce. I got N11 because I like eating laksa, but I also found the dish disappointing. It's alright but again not worth the hype it gets from others. It wasn't spicy at all, like maybe 1.5/10. The broth was mostly creamy salty flavor rather than full of spices. I know it doesn't have seafood explicitly in it, but the fish cakes and fish balls would do well with meatier broth. The fish ball and fish cakes weren't bouncy and tasted quite fishy. The tofu pieces weren't fresh but not spoiled to a point I needed to call it out. Maybe the only thing I liked was the texture of the noodles. My friend's N1 tasted more like a soy sauce based sauce. I didn't like that sauce nor the texture of her noodles, so I was glad to stick with mine. She preferred her's more too. She said the more she ate, the milddddd heat in her sauce accumulated and made it too spicy for her to finish the last bite. I didn't taste any heat when I tried a bite, but maybe it was too small. This restaurant also charges a surcharge for credit cards, so we paid by cash.

We especially enjoyed this taro vegetable dish we ordered - the taro comes in a deep fried ring shape surrounding all the veggies and shrimp. The drunken noodle was also really good - really nice sized shrimp in their dishes. The Hainan chicken (they call it PM chicken) is not as flavorful as other places we've had this at. I wouldn't order the curry beef next time - it's a bowl of curry sauce (although delicious) with a few pieces of beef stew; you really need it eat it with a bowl of rice and we're trying to reduce our carb intake.
