Chicken and broccoli and lo mein

Always fast, cheap, and delicious! Only $7 for this chicken bowl with one side. I always choose lo mein. Great bang for your buck.

Honestly, I'd give it 3 stars for the food, but 5 stars on efficiency of this place! Suki Hana has one of the most efficient ordering systems - you place your order with one of the staff members on line, they'll note it on the box, and send you on your way to the front where they'll quickly fill the box with your selections. Don't be deterred by the long lines - we were in and out within 10 minutes. The chicken teriyaki itself is really good, but mixed with the lo mein it was a mountain of grease. Definitely mall food court quality worthy, but still made my stomach uneasy after a while.

Yeah, I didn't think I would write a review for a food court joint, but Suki Hana truly surprised me. At first glance, Suki Hana is your generic food court "Japanese" teriyaki grill place, similar to Sarku and Sansei Japan. However, when I was looking at the options at the food court in Christiana mall, I noticed that Suki Hana had a long line. Gotta try it. All I'm saying is that Suki Hana is the best food court Japanese food that I've ever had. It's everything that you want from a Japanese teriyaki grill, but done really well. I got the Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimp plate with half fried rice half chow mein, and everything was super tasty. The chow mein was al dente, reminding me of Chinese Lo Mein. The chicken was super juicy, and the shrimp was plump. All of the food is super fresh. Since it's so busy, they have to constantly grill their proteins to order on the grill. In the end, it's still a generic food court Japanese spot, so I can't give it a 5 star review. However, if you're looking for a quick bite while shopping at Christiana mall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Suki Hana.

Hi Yelp Family, Welcome To The Suki Hana Experience!!! No, this place isn't named after the rapper for all the know-it-alls. However, Suki Hana will make you "Run Dem Bandz!" ((((Some of you got the joke and others will go to Google))))).......LOL Anyways, let me break down how you order from this place...Yes, it's a process and if you don't follow these instructions---- you'll find out the hard way! Let's get started. 1) Look at the menu and decide what YOU want before stepping in the line. 2) Be ready to order! A worker will approach you with empty trays and a sharpie to take your order. This person has a low tolerance for forehead scratching, Ummmm's and big eyes going over the menu for the hundredth time without letting out what you want. 3) Follow your plate if you're getting steak or shrimp, because (after you pay) your plate will move to the hibachi grill. At this point, it's you're responsibility to watch and bag your food (once it's done). Keep in mind, no one is handing you your food at this point! Once it's done, you grab and go! 4) Hold the platter properly (from the bottom) as you walk to your vehicle; the food is a little saucy! Once you get in the car, open the platter and taste the reason you went through all that (before pulling off)! 5) At this point, you've lived to go back and REPEAT Best food @ this place that I've tasted: Everything! -Teriyaki Steak -Teriyaki Shrimp -Honey Chicken -Salt & Pepper Fish -Sesame Chicken -Plantains (OH MY!) Go to: Christiana Mall-Food Court 132 Mall rd Christiana, 132 Christiana Mall #1477, Newark, DE 19702 (located next to Chick-fil-A) Finally, I say "Good Eats!" I'm sleepy after this food, so...PEACE!!!!! With All Respect, Food Junkie J

My food is always fresh and always good. When getting food from a mall food court, you can't expect too much but Suki Hanna gets it right every time.

I never leave reviews but I had to share, I finished eating almost all of my food to find this in my bowl, i wonder how many of these I ate. I'm just hoping it was a cabbage worm and not a maggot!

One of the chefs was rude and gave me attitude for no reason. But overall, the other employees were decent and the prices were good for a large meal. Food's good too.

Great value for takeout Chinese food. My favorite is the honey walnut shrimp and orange beef. My hubs always gets the sesame chicken. The lo mein can be oily and undercooked at times, but overall this place does the trick if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while as I had read reviews saying food was…read moreauthentic. I came in very hungry and ordered the following: wontons in chili oil, Dan Dan noodles, Sichuan spicy tofu. I've had all these dishes at other restaurants before and make the first 2 routinely at home. 1. Dan Dan noodles: portion was huge. It was topped with a creamy very garlicky sauce, including rough chopped fresh garlic ( warmed through but still had some crunch/bite to it). OMG so delicious. Not meat forward (if there was even any meat, I think it was maybe finely sliced fungus instead, it worked perfectly in any case). 2. Wontons in chili oil: I was expecting a bit more flavor to the sauce, instead it was literally just chili oil and seemed kind of diluted and bland even. I added some pieces of garlic from my Dan Dan noodles and let that sit with some dark soy sauce the waitress brought and that did the trick. 3. Sichuan spicy tofu, recommended by the host: came with chicken, fish or beef, I chose chicken. This was massive and I have leftovers I'm looking forward to eating later. Very flavorful with silky tofu. I didn't really enjoy the texture of the chicken though and would have preferred it minced or lower chicken:tofu ratio or with pork. It looks like they have a smaller mapo tofu dish in a different part of the menu without the added meat and I might try that next time. The wild part was the intensity of the Szechuan peppercorn. I routinely crush it freshly at home and eat dishes containing it when out but have never experienced such an intense tingling effect. It felt like my lips and tongue were vibrating and then my water tasted like it had lemon juice squeezed in it. Not sure if it is a different kind than the red one I have at home, or if it is just THAT fresh, but wow. All in all, very enjoyable meal and service. I will for sure be back for the Dan Dan noodles but not if planning to socialize much after given how intensely garlicky they were. Looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu! A suggestion for the menu: I really like the large glossy pictures of each item but it ends up being a lot of pages to turn back and forth through to make a selection, so it would be nice to include just a plain typed list to glance at as well, like a table of contents.

Chef Tan is one of the better Chinese places in the Newark area. I really don't think authenticity…read morematters a great deal, but Chef Tan is about a 7.5 on a 1-10 point scale measuring authenticity (with Golden Wok Mushu Pork being a one and Richmond Vancouver Chinese stores being a ten), though obviously some dishes are more or less than others The place is relatively spacious, and you can totally have a large party come here. It's also regularly open on typical US holidays, such as Christmas or Thanksgiving, so if you need somewhere to go when everything else is closed, you can really rely on this place. Some things that I think are pretty good here: the vegetable options (though somewhat expensive), the kung pao chicken, the eggplant, the lamb options (including the sliced version, as well as the cumin one where you can add lamb as your option).
