That's just not true but I understand the frustration that led to a misunderstanding. I know the owner/chef was busy and working to try improve their marketing, ordering app, and communications. It's a small business so you just have to contact her directly if there is an issue and she will take care of it. I did that every time and I was patient because I want this good cooking to last to feed my family. Seems like great people. I've spoken to her and met the staff who deliver food to my house. I bought my two bottles, with a delivery fee and small tip (as there was already a delivery fee) and waited. I received an email stating that my order would be delivered within 100 minutes. After 180 minutes I called and extremely politely asked how the event was coming along. He explained that the event was extremely "successful" in that they were overwhelmed with orders and things were running late. The guy I spoke to was very polite and apologetic and explained that this circumstance was unusual. Totally understandable, although not necessarily the experience you want to give new customers. Over 200 minutes later, it arrived. The delivery guy wanted me to come to the car. I get it, he is busy etc... nbd, but that's not normally how delivery works. I did it and didn't put up a fuss. Stupidly, I didn't check my order in front of him. Two different bottles as I assumed they ran out of the ones that I ordered. I googled them, and they are cheaper bottles. One can easily say "what did you expect for 2 cents?" although that's not really the point. If they wanted customers to experience their service, they should have limited it to what they can handle in terms of 1) delivery 2) quantity. They could have had a staggered system and list the actual wines they plan on delivering. I would use them in the future for basics if I was hosting a party and I ran out of things. Their prices seem reasonable. I'm deducting a star because the two other reviews are blatantly fake.
