Every time we come to this location and sit in the bar, there is only one older lady working the entire bar side by herself. This last visit on 3/7, we had a table of 5 on the bar side and waiting for at least 10-15 min for someone to take our drink order. We all ordered food after that. My order was 20 bone-in wings, half hot barbie, half hot honey garlic, half order of straight fries with dipping cheese and ranch. The order I received was, 20 boneless wings and she couldnt tell what flavor they were, with curly fries and blue cheese. After saying something, I could tell the waitress that had come to help the older lady was a little frustrated. All four of the other meals were cold and I had to wait for my order to be remade. I am usually a south side wings person but I was meeting people that lived closer to this location. You should take notes from the south location and for the love of god, get the lady some help in the bar. read more

I really like this wing place. Great flavor sauces. This is my favorite place to get Wings at home. All the Wings Etc. locations have a differing (but still generally high) levels of quality, efficiency, and food consistency. I think this location is #2 in the area (with the Ireland/Ironwood location being #1). TNT Sauce is the very best flavor and heat combination I have ever tasted. Wall sauce is actually quite good as well, something you don't always get in "challenge" foods. Staffing is sometimes an issue. Every now and then we get a staff member that just can't keep up with the crowd, or has some efficiency issues, but not often, and no worse than any other casual sit down place you will encounter. I am a particular fan of sitting at the bar at lunch time. The bar staff is very attentive, even during the busier lunch time. I'm a big Iced Tea drinker, and it is not often that I ever am without a sip available. That means a lot to me. One thing I do have to mention is that some of the signature items have diminished in the past few years. The Baron Sandwich is no longer the hallmark that it used to be, with a much larger bun and much smaller chicken breast, but the same over good flavor. I have never reviewed these guys before but the wife and I have gone here for a while. For me, I'm kind of done with this place. I like my wings cooked to order meaning if i asked for wings 'extra, extra crispy' for bone-in wings that means they should be so crisp that the sauce can't make them soft. This is different from the normal six minutes it takes to fry up a set of wings, this is obviously much different if you ask for extra, and extra. It has happened before where i have asked for that and the waiter gets it, but the cooks in the back get in the weeds and send me what i call 'wet wings'. Wel,l yesterday I was already in a mood. i call up, get into my pick-up order and James (who is a nice guy) takes my order. He does well until i ask him what sauces they have. He responds with 'there's like twenty flavors...'. This annoyed me because he said it as if i needed to know the flavors by heart. I said 'Start readin!'. I apologized for snapping at him and surprisingly there was no obvious doodoo on my food when i picked it up. It isn't necessarily James, but in general customer service as a skill isn't taught well in a lot of places. If someone says what sauces do you have you just read the sauces to them. You're at work, you want the customer, whether they are a fucking idiot or not to come and patronize your restaurant so you want to create the environment where they spend and keep coming back. If i ask about the sauces it means I don't know them, it also doesn't open the door for you as the person working at the restaurant to insinuate that there's too many for you to list. James is a nice guy, but he is a younger dude not necessarily schooled in how to make customers happy. Or he's normal and I'm a complete dickhead. Most likely it's a combo of both? I'd like that because i'd like to not be a complete dickface. I asked at least five times so that he knew how important it was to me for extra crispy, extra extra crispy, to be precise. He said yes but my wings still weren't crispy, and again this isn't due to the steam in closed containers this is due to not burning my wings like i asked. For me, it's not worth the trouble as the wings just aren't that good and for the price I can fry my own party wings better. I will mention crystal, and James were very cordial (this could be because they put a booga on my food) and pleasant. Watered down beer. Yes, on more than one occasion, I've noticed the beer on tap here tastes diluted. I wonder if they are deliberately doing this to be cheap. Only place on Earth where a Guinness didn't taste great. Also, the waitresses here have no social skills and don't know how to be friendly. I've seen this consistently, as I did on Saturday night. I don't live in the Michiana area, but love to go to Wings Etc. when we're in the area. The wings are great--probably the best I've had anywhere. Much better than Buffalo Wild Wings. Their sauces are delicious, too. My favorite is the Medium, which is just the right amount of spicy mixed with buttery goodness. We'll occasionally get an appetizer (if my arteries are feeling too open that day) and they've been consistently great. The nachos, the fried pickles, fried mushrooms, etc. All good. Okay, it's clear I love the food, so why the 3/5 stars? Service--or lack thereof. I've eaten in 5 Wings Etc across Michiana and the service from the waitstaff is consistently terrible. Just today my family was in there for an unnecessarily long 1.5 hours and saw our waitress twice. She didn't even bring our food out. I had to ask the hostess for a refill. You may think, "Calm down Jeff, sounds like you had a terrible waitress." And while that's true, it's not an isolated incident. It's always this bad. You want to make sure everything goes swimmingly. So, you think you can rely on a Mishawaka staple, Wings Etc.. The food is ordered. As you wait in anticipation, your client begins to warm up to you and the area. You talk about the mini golf, the batting cages, the chili dogs from Sonic. Then, the food shows up. Ahhhh finally, something to diminish my voracious appetite. But wait, you ordered 95 wings with various sauces and none of the containers are labeled. So, you think "Oh i dont know maybe the people at wings n stuff should have labeled the got damn container". So, you call them up. They tell you that the very fact that you think you are entitled to a labeled wing contained, is outlandish and perverse, exact wording. You stifle your surprise as you look on with your peers disapprovingly. Now: Imagine this happened to you. Upon arrival, the sign said to seat yourself, so we grabbed a table in the bar area. Ten minutes later, no one had been to our table, so we moved over to the family side and finally had a waitress, Lisa, visit us. She was friendly and nice throughout the visit and wasn't too intrusive. Got the boneless wings & my wife got the pork tenderloin sandwich. Her tenderloin was huge, definitely a good value. My boneless wings were also good. I couldn't decide between the Garlicy sauce or the Tweener sauce. Lisa offered some garlic salt to add to the Tweener to garlic them up. I played along and agreed. When I added the salt to the wings, it just made them too salty, so I recommend not doing that again. I also ordered some of the "loaded fries". They were made with real melted cheese with real bacon on top. A very good value! The melted cheese cooled and turned the fries into one big brick of cheese & fries. The first time I was in here was after a Notre Dame game and it was packed, but they seated us fairly quickly and the waitress was knowledgeable and made sure our glasses were never empty and that we had all that we needed when we got our food, which was delicious. After going to Buffalo Wild Wings my entire life to cater to my wing cravings, being introduced to Wings Etc. was a welcome change. It's typical bar food and it's all pretty tasty, but this place does their Wings namesake justice - the fries and wing sauces are enough to make anyone break their diet. We have been coming to this location for almost two years now and have had a great experience every time. It's always pretty busy on any given Friday or Saturday night, but it doesn't take too long to be seated - the food is always worth it and I have never had an issue with quality here. I live for the wings specials - the value blows Buffalo Wild Wings out of the water. On top of that, their manager, Donny, is on the ball and takes care of his customers. He is great at resolving any issue you might have and is always very courteous and professional. Based on customer service alone (especially from a chain), I have to say I was impressed that they clearly care about their customers, plus they make great wings, what's not to love? I really like giving them my business and will continue to be a loyal customer. I'm not sure if some of the lower rated reviews had an off day there, but I have never had a bad experience here, so if you're on the fence...give it a try, you'll be glad you did. read more

I came here for lunch. I sat at the bar, it took several minutes before I was even greeted. I ordered wings and sat having my drink. It was quite a while before I was asked if I wanted anything else. The wings took a very long time to be ready. When they finally arrived my server didn't provide me with a waste plate or such. When I was finished once again took a very long time before being approached. I reluctantly ordered a Mojito, that was a big mistake. It was the worst Mojito I've ever had. They took out the book to make it so clearly they didn't know what they were doing. When attempting to get my check it took quite an effort to get her attention. All I was told was, let me get your server. Then she came back (the same girl) and handed my check to me. Making things complicated for no reason at all. Paid and left. We love(d) Wings. Just got back from there. The waiter was ok but didn't check back much. Ordered our usual. Food took a while this time even though it was not close to being busy. Got our food. Tator tots were cold, the cheese we ordered didn't come, my wings were cold. Didn't have my "on the side" bbq sauce. Had to ask for the cheese and the bbq sauce. By the time we got the cheese we were almost finished with the tots. Had to ask again for the bbq sauce. Another person brought our food not our waiter. He had long hair combed forward and greasy looking. He also had saggy jeans on with the crotch hanging low and his T-shirt was dirty on the front. We, my husband and I, will not be back. read more

Their wing sauce Suicide is the best sauce (for people who enjoy hot). Recently ownership/management made the decision to discontinue this sauce since it is offensive. Im sorry, but thats ridiculous. A family of 5 shouldn't have to wait that long for simple "staple" meals. Not to mention many people came in and ordered well after us and received their food before us. I have been coming here for many many years. It is my favorite place for wings and I have had them in the birthplace of wings(Buffalo, New York). I almost always get the bone in wings with "tweeter" sauce. But they have almost twenty varieties to try. I don't recommend their boneless wings, they taste like frozen chicken nuggets wArmed up. Their nachos are also incredibly good. I have had both the original and buffalo variety. One order feeds two as a meal or at least 4 as an appetizer. My husband had had some of the "etc." and has liked most things. For lunch it is a great family place. In the evenings it is more grown up. read more

My boyfriend and I went here today for dinner, and let me just say...if you're looking for a good sports bar, this isn't the one. To be honest, we should have just driven the extra 10 minutes down the road to Buffalo Wild Wings. My boyfriend's order got messed up as he ordered shrimp with his meal, but received chicken instead...I ordered the "lo-cal plate" which consisted of two thin slices of raw carrot, two small celery sticks, two cucumbers, two thin slices of a green bell pepper, a big piece of chicken on a bed of shredded lettuce. The plate was under "salads" and came with a dressing. The plate was 75% chicken and 25% lettuce. Only when I got to the bottom of the "plate" the bottom was wet from the lettuce and I'm pretty sure as I was eating, some of the paper underneath got into my mouth as it was so wet that the paper was just falling apart at the bottom. For the dressing, I ordered a balsamic vinaigrette, it was thicker than the ranch and goopy, I've never had a vinaigrette like that before. About an hour afterwards, I'm pretty sure I got sick from the food or the paper that I ate that was mixed in with the food because I've been feeling queasy ever since. On a more positive note, the service was fine (not great, not bad, just fine). read more
