Pleasantly surprised! I picked up lunch there for a couple doing some yard work with my husband. I saw on a commercial that they offered waffle fries...wow...better than Chik Fila! Then, the coleslaw! Being completely honest, I believe that was some of the best I've had! Definitely improved. Thankfully, the chicken and fish were deliciously just the same. These bad reviews go to show employees are a direct reflection on the establishment. We visit once every 6 months and have never had an issue at this location. Our last visit was about 2 weeks ago. Ordered on the app, used a coupon, pulled up to the speaker, gave my name, and pulled right up to the window. Our food was hot and ready to go. The lady at the window was very nice. The LJS closer to my house went out of business a few years ago. So, I happened to be on the other side of town where the last LJS in our area is still open. I walked in, had to look at the menu for a couple minutes because I had not been in a LJS for years. The lady at the register was nice and patient, but a second employee came up and started being pushy about my pace of ordering. After I said I wanted a two piece combo I then realized I might also want a second side. The mouthy employee said "You ordered coleslaw, that's what you've got coleslaw" !!! I said "I know what I ordered I'm still looking at the menu" She said "You don't have to be rude. I'm doing my job. I'm not being rude.!!!" She WAS being rude with glaring eyes and pissy attitude. After she walked away, continuing to bad-mouth me, I said to the nice, patient lady at the register "I don't even want to eat here after her bitching at me." I turned away and walked out. I was blown away by the wonderful staff at this long John silvers! When I was walking in they were mopping the floor and were quick to point out the floor could be slippery. I was second in line and my order was taken promptly. I was then asked just to make sure I was ok with having my fish and popcorn shrimps in the same box. Such a small touch but it was nice. The food was hot and flavorful but I didn't know they had Cheesecake Factory cheesecake! The chocolate was good, only about a third of the size as a normal Cheesecake Factory sized slice. I also went to the bathroom and it was clean! I was the only one in the dining room and someone asked if my meal was ok. Such a nice touch that you never get at fast food anymore. As a lover of Long John Silver's many fishy foods, I was delighted to order my fish tacos. However, when I asked to add to my fish tacos when I asked to add something to my order, they had misheard me, and to add something to my order, they had misheard me. I wanted to make another transaction. What inspired a 1 star was the drive-through operator ha misheard me and then charged me separately after I had asked if she could join the transactions while she had the opportunity, seeing as there was no one in the drive-through, and she had the time. Instead, she proceeded to say no very harshly. It is these kinds of transactions between employees at any establishment and consumers that make customer relationships break and the importance of these relationships is that they drive the revenue and fundamental enjoyment found by consumers. Long John Silvers needs to properly educate their employees on customer relationships and how building them can create a better environment for themselves and for the company as a whole. read more

Food is good but the service is lacking.  Manager that took my order couldn't have been more unpleasant.  Okay, got my order asked for a few more cocktail sauces.  It was take-out and when I got home to eat we did not get the shrimp or the additional sauces.  This was the second time in a month that our order was lacking; first order was cold in the short distance it takes to get home.  This time it was the lack of customer service and the shortage.  I doubt we will be going back to this LJS's.  Inflation and lack of customer service not a good combination.  Three stars for the food and a minus star for the manager. read more

Check your order if you go through the drive-thru. I ordered the beer battered cod and shrimp platter; when I got home to eat, I just have fish. I checked my receipt and I paid for the beer battered cod and shrimp platter. When I called, the guy asked me if I was sure. Have not been to Long John Silvers in quite awhile until today and I was blown away at what a great experience I had at this location. The staff was super friendly and had the food ready immediately. The quality of the food was fantastic and the cleanliness of the restaurant was very noticeable as the staff clearly takes pride in where they work.
