My order was a crabmeat roll, I have never seen a sandwich made this way. It seems to be weird dry stringy pieces of "maybe crab" with tomato and lettuce on a bun. I don't think this is what anybody would expect when ordering a crab meat roll from a restaurant with crab in their name. Maybe the rest of the menu is okay but my meal today made me feel scammed. I ripped it in half expecting to see chunks of crab like a lobster roll, I tried the "crab meat" and could not stomach eating any more of the sandwich. read more

Best seafood in town! Better than Wild Crab. Better than any buffet! This location has the best tasting seafood in Mishawaka. Food is always fresh and hot. Service is friendly and happy to get you anything you need. Place is clean and doesn't smell bad. You know how some seafood places smell of old fish. Not King Crab. Well, I'd really like to give a better review but it was really, really not great. I ordered the crab roll and I was well aware of it being imitation but I'm not sure what was being used in these rolls. It looked like skimpy shredded goldfish food - yes, the kind you throw in the tank. It was smothered in a sauce so I couldn't even taste anything resembling anything trying to be seafood. Amazing staff, clean restaurant. Poor portion size for the create your own boil; came with 1/2 piece of corn, 1 piece of king crab leg ($67.00) and 2 tiny new/red potato. Walked in and saw few customers but several dirty tables. Service was unreasonably slow. The Crawdads were actually rotten - we suspect that they re-heat them and serve them to people over and over again. The potatoes were rotten inside. I do not recommend this place. read more

We were a bit leery to try this place. It seems several restaurants of this type, seafood boil in a bag, have popped up recently. Why? Are they all run by the same owners? Just seemed odd. I don't know about the others, but The King Crab is bangin!! Still looks like TGIFridays but that's ok. The dining room is clean and inviting. The service is attentive and knowledgeable. Our server,Tristan, made sure we were comfortable and happy with our experience. Now, the best part, the food! We started with the hush puppies. They were dense yet fluffy and seasoned nicely. They are a must have starter. The menu offers soups, po'boy sandwiches, baskets with fries and the many choices of seafood boils. My husband and I both ordered the Signature Boil. This includes snow crab legs, shrimp, smoked sausage slices, small whole potatoes and 2 half pieces of corn on the cob. I chose the Old Bay butter sauce and hubs had the house blend butter sauce. Both entrees were extremely garlicky, which is fine with me! My tastebuds and tummy were delighted and pleased. I did my best, but couldn't finish it all. Enjoying my leftovers is all I can think about. Loved it!! The only negative is the ladies room. It was messy and unkept. Didn't look dirty, just messy. One more downer is the pricing. It's not bad, but this will be a special occasion restaurant for us. Still rating King Crab 5 stars! read more

We went in for the all you can eat!!! Mind you, this was a Saturday and we had tried this place back in April. Well the all you can eat is available on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday and Friday!!! no where on the regular menus or the Saturday menus does it state that. In fact because it was a "holiday weekend" - all you can eat was off then. When I asked to discuss to this with the manager- she was just too busy , standing around acting like a hostess!!!! Our waitress explained, the manager said no exceptions - the menu button doesn't work on Sat- nothing they could do!!! My dinner party made me stay!!
