Sub was delicious but my order was shorted the pickle spear and cookie. Delivery was quick and the gentleman was very friendly.

Sandwich was really good! Bread had a hint of sweetness, which is a nice change of pace. Fast service. Wish they had banana peppers. Overall will try more items in the future. read more

It's on fire!!! Well y'a know. Clean good sandwich and supports a great cause. Ladder up and put out that lunch hunger with a sub. Smokehouse is my go to and they do it right with decent meat and cheese portion. Their cookies and brownies rarely disappoint. It is clean. Which cmon is important. From drink station to tables they keep it picked up and looking good. The food always seems good and fresh. Some pretty good choices and toppings. And the cause is hard to beat. Supporting local and national fire fighters. People that put their life on the line everyday. Thé décoré here has all the firehouse stuff and usually has a local mural. Thursday June 20th, we just got done wandering the mall and decided we would rather go somewhere outside of the food court.  We ended up at Firehouse Subs.  I'm a huge fan of sandwiches in general.  I often get cravings for a good sandwich and like my husband with hamburgers am always open to finding my new favorite. I had never been to Firehouse Subs so we decided to get a togo order. Our sandwiches were delicious although I still love Quiznos a little more. I got the honey ham sub and I will come back soon to enjoy another delicious sandwich, possibly the same one. If you love sandwiches, give them a try. You wont be disappointed. read more

Delivered on time but sandwich was not hot! Old tasting white bread, very little meat, condiments I ordered were limited plus no pickle. Will I order again probably not, better choices in Michiana with less fees. On Saturday February 24th, 2024, my husband and I stopped in to have a late lunch early dinner and it was good as always. So here it is I don't drink pop or anything else but water and we were charged $3.69 for a combo which intel's chips or another side and a drink of any kind and I was charged for a bag of chips and a a cup of water $3.69 and when I when I went back up to fine out why was I charge for water. They said because I had requested a larger cup then there small cup for water. So they gave an a refund of a whole $1.66. They should let people know what they are being charged for when it's come to water a NON POP drinker. I can see you might charge someone.50 cents or 1.00 for your cup if that's the case, but I am still hoping that someone from your store will make a note to put something in writing about the cost of your cups for drinking water. We had heard of Firehouse Subs when they came to our area. We also heard of their charitable contributions to firefighters. So we decided to try them out on A Sunday which was also Super Bowl Sunday. They were not busy at all when I visited in mid afternoon. I was mildly surprised. I had the 8" Turkey Bacon Ranch and my wife had 8" Turkey with all the vegetable fixings. They included a quarter dill pickle with each sandwich. I was disappointed in the taste of my sandwich. It had pepper corn ranch dressing but the sandwich was quite bland. The bread had little flavor and was the biggest ingredient instead of meat and vegetables. That would be ok if the bread was flavorful. It wasn't bad, only average. There is a lot of competition for subs out there. I've had better and I've had worse. I'm going to stick with the better. read more

Opened the app to order some subs and the stupid thing wouldn't let me log in. It said it was sending a code to my email but it never arrived so I ordered from another sub shop. Then I made the mistake of going into the Grape Rd Firehouse Subs on accident and nobody treated me upon entry and I stood there for about 10 mins before someone finally acknowledged me. I won't return to this establishment anytime soon. They will have to earn my money from now on and I don't think they have the ability to do so. read more

Friendly and patient service. Clean inside, especially the bathroom. They have the coolest Coke freestyle machine. What stood out to me, is I forgot to ask for olives and onions and when I asked graciously if it was too late, they kindly and with a smile added it to the sandwich as it was already being made. The good news... The food here is good. The the Firehouse hot sauce is yummy. It's more like a bbq sauce then a hot sauce, but a yummy one! :) The bad news... Wow, this place is cramped! This layout was not well thought out. So cramped that I believe it was (ironically) a fire hazard. There are so many sub shops within a 1/4 mile radius I don't see myself returning to this one. I'm a little biased because I work here but I genuinely like the food! I've tried almost every sub except the New York steamer (I can't eat pastrami) and the Italian. My ultimate fave is the smokehouse brisket. I think my favorite thing about the place is that because the meats and bread are warmed separately the bread isn't soggy and there is plenty of meat and toppings. It is definitely filling. I also REALLY like the broccoli cheddar soup. read more

Just recently opened so I thought I would try it. I was in line for over 20 minutes just to order, that's a third of my lunch hour so this was a bad idea. I did not order Soda because the end of the line blocks the dispenser. You start at the back of the store, order in the middle and then to get your drink you have to go to the back of the store again, a poor location, the drinks should be at the front! That being said, the medium HERO I had was very good, different from most other sub shops around. I will return another time when things quiet down. read more

Initially thought I'd made a horrible mistake by going here at 1pm on a Saturday. I walked in and the place was packed and very disorganized. I've never understood why you order at the back of these stores, because most people do exactly what everyone here did: they ordered then moved to the front of the store to stand and wait. Which mean I, upon walking in, had to squeeze past people and ask pretty much everyone "Are you in line?" to make sure I didn't accidentally cut anyone. I awkwardly made my way to the back to order, noticing on the way that every single table was full. Not only that, but "small" tables had been pushed together to form bigger tables, because most parties appeared to be 4 people or more. I immediately considered either leaving or ordering something to go and just eating in my car, but ultimately decided to chance it. I'm glad I did because as I made my way to the front, to hypocritically do the same thing I complained about having to awkwardly push through just minutes before, more than one "small" table (a 2 seater) opened up at the front and I was able to grab one for myself. Once seated, and out of the way, I only had a short wait before my food was brought to me. My sandwich was piping hot, and delicious, just like I've encountered at the other Firehouse Subs I've dined at. As I ate, the place cleared out quite a bit as well and that just improved things for everyone because suddenly people had room to move and the volume of the place dropped dramatically. I guess everyone before me arrived right around the same time and, therefore, left at the same time. I finished my meal and left satisfied. My only "complaint" is that the food costs too much. I only ordered a large sandwich (I'm a big guy) and a medium drink, and my total was over $12. I know the quality of the food is better than your Subways and Jimmy Johns but $9-$10 for a sub sandwich is just too much to me. Because of this factor, I'll be limiting my visits to Firehouse Subs, as my wallet much more prefers places where you can get a lot of stuff for $10+ instead of just one thing. Other than that, the food was excellent, the crowded place turned out to not be a problem and the staff was quick and friendly, which is really all you can ask for. read more

We live in Bristol indiana which is not a close place but we love this place and our 8 year old always requests it. We always allow our kids order for themselves and never have had a problem before until tonight. We stopped in for dinner and we got Kailey I believe on the register and my 8 year old went to order and she was absolutely rude and rolled her eyes and my son refused to order because of her... as we are sitting here waiting on our food she is picking her teeth while other customers are figuring out what they want... she should NOT work the register or deal with people... read more

I have only had Firehouse Subs twice and both times was a great experience. The first time was shortly after they opened this location so it was busy and took a while to get out food but the food was great and everything my husband said it would be. The second time they had improved the speed of getting the food out and the quality was just as great as the first time. I think you get what you pay for and I never leave here hungry. They consistently get my large orders correct and recently when I had an incorrect order, they went above and beyond to make it up to me - even though the mistake really wasn't even their fault! Way overpriced for the quality of sandwich we got. We ordered for subs and it took forever to get our order. It was probably over 20 minutes. When we got home and looked at our sandwiches they looked very skimpy. Definitely not worth the price. Will probably never return. read more

Like others have stated, for a sub place, it is SLOW service. Not sure what is up with that. Instead of acting like they were rushing to put out a fire, they acted like they were watching the house burn down! Took at least 15 minutes for a sub, chili and chips. They would be much better off just giving you drinks rather than putting the machine in the back. My sub, brisket with cheddar, bbq sauce and mayo was okay. More mayo than bbq sauce which just killed what could have been a great sub. Also, not nearly as much meat as you would expect. I know brisket is expensive,but come on. The chili was also okay, but not "firehouse". Bland like Wendy's but thicker. I did like it, but would need to take it home jazz it up. Employees have no sense of urgency. We walked in and at least 10 people wear standing and waiting for orders already placed. New restaurant should have twice as many employees; they should know people are interested in a new place to eat. Not a good management planning! We left without ordering. Hope they improve this. This establishment is absolutely disappointing. The employees were very down and glum. They worked very slowly. The environment was dirty with food on the floor and on their limited tables. The set up with order and pick up line was not thought out. Customers were in the way of each other. There was no flow. Now let's get to the speed of production... it was horrible.
