First time coming here. Went on a sunday, surprisingly it wasn't too busy we only waited about 5 minutes for a table. The staff was friendly and welcoming. It took a long time to order and get our bill. Our food came fast. It's a cool spot especially for kids or airplane fanatics.

Im dropping a star because my fries were old and soggy. I could hardly eat them. The pastrami sandwich wasn't to bad though. Service was a little slow but I was with nice company so I didn't mind. I think I'll get chips instead of fries next .

Been wanting to try wings cafe at Fullerton airport for years now, today is the day. Cool location on Fullerton airport close to some aircraft tie downs and not far from the runway. All glass facing the airport makes for great viewing of the activities on the field. Fantastic decor with tables made up of inverted wing sections topped with glass, lots of memorabilia including aircraft models, propellers, a mannequin dressed in a flight suit, and other knick-knacks. Seated at a table with menus to peruse. Server came back and took our drink order. Returned with our drinks and took our food orders. Food was good and came out quickly. We enjoyed the orders. Biscuit and Gravy was great, I'm picky about biscuits and gravy and most fail to impress me but this one was solid. The French toast was also very good. Bacon was crisp and flavorful. While reading about the restaurant I saw that the owners of wings cafe also own the galley on harbor island drive in Newport Beach which is another favorite of mine. I'm already looking forward to my next dining experience at wings cafe

Wait was 30mins or so on a Sunday afternoon. Put your name on a list. When they have the planes on display it's easy to kill time waiting. The kids had alot of fun watching planes take off. Cute control panel in the booth. Kids meals were a good size. Pancakes were decent. The chili was ok but could be better. Fries also could have been better and my kids didn't eat much. I would come back and order more breakfast options next time. Fun place for the kids. Plenty of parking.

The cafe itself is smaller than I thought but our family enjoyed the experience, the view, and the food. The hash browns were nice and crisp, and pancakes were buttery soft. The omelet was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The sandwiches were mediocre and the coleslaw was made with too much mayo. Service could have been better in that they were slow to serve and we had to remind them a few times of some of our orders.

We walked in to one of our favorite cafes and were greeted warmly. When we sat down at our awesome window seat we could see the planes and all of the activity happening on the tarmac. With the busy lunch rush we waited a bit before our order was taken but then it arrived in a timely manner. The pastrami sandwich and grilled cheese and soup were delicious but the chili fries were seemingly a bit small and/or soggy for the amount of chili and cheese that was on it. No problem, their cheeseburger and chicken sandwich were tasty. Maybe steak fries would work for the chili. Oh well. It's still one of our favorite places. Thank you Wings.

I've gone to several of the regional airport cafes. This location is the best! The wall is all windows and it's directly on the runway which adds to the experience seeing planes land and takeoff while eating. The parking is easy and plentiful. This place was hopping on a Friday morning. That was nice to see. The service was great. Greeted with a warm, friendly smile. The servers were attentive, prompt and courteous. The portions large and very reasonable. The food was delicious. I had biscuit and gravy and a meat lover's omelette. Oh my!! Very flavorful. And filling!! The lobby has plenty of pictures with history of the airport as well as memorabilia throughout the restaurant. This place is fun and a tasty experience. I highly recommend it.

What a cool little cafe! Located in the flightine of this little airport in Fullerton. They get an A+ for theming and decor--from the runway lights on the floor to tables made of airplane wings, it's pretty awesome. The menu is standard. They have omelets and happens and all the normal breakfast items, salads, soup, and sandwiches. We ordered a couple of tuna melts, tomato bisque, and a party melt with fries, and a mimosa. Everything was really good. The fries are clearly fresh cut from fresh potatoes, not frozen. I loved that when I asked the server if the tuna had pickles in it (blechhh), he said "we can make your tuna any way you want." It ended up being the best tuna melt I've ever had! He was such a nice guy and good server. Definitely recommend this cool little place. Spend some time looking at all the plane and military memorabilia!

We were in the Fullerton area and it was highly recommended to check out this breakfast place. The decor is very cool and it's located literally on the airport. It reminded me a lot of Flo's and the Chino airport. There are tables that are literally made out of parts from the airplane, which is pretty cool. For two pancakes, sausage and an egg and an iced tea I paid $27. The flavor of the food was good but what I paid for versus the portion seemed a little off. I always love supporting local businesses and will definitely give it a second try but if I was bringing my entire family here that would be a very expensive bill to leave still hungry.

After my weekly Fullerton Water-tower hike, I wanted to grab a mimosa and breakfast To celebrate my "A" on my Microeconomics midterm last night So, why am I just finding this hidden gem, after 7 years of coming to this trail?! One of the many reasons I love The OC - great good spots all over! So I love airplanes and this is a little cafe at the Municipal Airport in Fullerton. Nothing fancy! It's a small location on CommerceBlvd. Lots of nature light, couple CC TVs, and seats about 75 people total. They have $1.99 mimosas M-F. I had chili cheese hash browns. Yum. Typical Diner Style fare... sandwiches, soup of rye day, breakfast and a few dinner items. They severe beer and wine and every seat has a view of plans landing and taking off. The service was kind and helpful. Nice place to come and enjoy your time and enjoy some comfort food. Thank you Wings!

The food is awesome great for morning meetups. It is very clean inside. It seems like I am in a airport. Their service are great and polite.

Great food, fast service! I come here almost every day for breakfast. Friendly place, like Cheers but without the beer (although they do have $1.99 mimosas on weekday special). It's next to the Fullerton airport, and it has a cute airplane theme.

First time here and was a great time! My 5 year old loves planes and came here for lunch! We came here on a Sunday at 11:30 and we had to wait about one hour because there were seven of us. They only have one table that's large enough to accommodate 6 plus small table next to it to sit three more. So we had to wait. But the cool thing is they have a little patio that you can go and sit and watch the planes takeoff and come in, but unfortunately because it was a windy day, we only saw 2 to 3 planes. So if you do plan to go make sure it's not a rainy day or a windy day because they won't be flying on those days. But it was still really cool and we had a great time just watching the 2 to 3 planes that did come and go. Once we got seated, it was a pretty cool ambience. We did not get one of the window seats which have like little buttons and things like an airplane, but those only fit I think 2 to 4 people. But our table was pretty nice and we were still able to see the window and see the planes parked. They have a pretty nice breakfast menu, but we came for lunch and choices good. Salads, sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs mostly kids menu: they get to choose a main entrée aside and a drink for $7.99 My son ordered the pancakes (comes with one large one and two small stacks), French fries, and drink I have to say the fries were very bad. Not tasty at all, and there was no crispiness to it so don't order the fries. I ordered the combination salad, which is the Albuquerque tuna, egg, salad, and cottage cheese. It was really good and very filling lots of protein! My husband got the club sandwich and he said it was excellent! But again he said the fries were not good Would definitely come back to this place and check out maybe one of the small tables by the window and come on a day where there's more planes flying. Overall, it was a great experience and my son enjoyed it!

We arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening and we were bummed that it was packed full inside. We decided to go have a drink upstairs, and then come back down later to see if it was any less busy. There must have been one big group who left because 30 minutes later, it was completely empty inside. There are a few wood tables outside of the entrance and several two seat tables along the outside of the side of the train, but for a first visit we definitely wanted to be inside. When you come inside at BXCR, there are two long green couches along each side that wrap around to the entrance to maximize available space. There are two steamer trunks on each side that serve as tables. We were surprised that all of the tables had a Yahtzee game on them, and we had a blast playing that while we enjoyed our drinks. If you happen to roll a Yahtzee, they give you a candle as a prize. There is good background music playing that fits the environment. There is some good décor with overhead baggage racks and international clocks on one wall, and gauges on the wall next to the bar. There are some small rectangular windows along the top of both sides, and some curtained windows on the right side which do let a little light in. When the main entrance door is opened before its dark outside, it does let quite a bit of light in and kills the ambience temporarily. I would recommend coming closer to or after sunset to not let any outside sunlight interfere with your experience. The drinks are made at the bar in the rear where there are several seats and a little standing room. It wasn't on the current menu, but I saw on a previous menu they had an Amaretto Sour so I started with that, and it did not disappoint. It was nice and frothy from an egg white and had Angostura bitters on top. My girlfriend started with the Calm Cruise which was great. It's basically a Pina Colada, but with an additional honeydew flavor in the background. For number two, I tried the C-League cocktail. The smokiness of Mezcal has grown on me lately if it is not the primary flavor, and in this drink it is at a nice level somewhere in the middle. The cucumber and cilantro are definitely present, along with a little heat from the ancho verde and a little sweetness from the Luxardo maraschino. This is a excellent easy-drinking tequila cocktail. Her number two was the Aviation which she enjoyed. Vince was our main bartender along with Sarah. They were very friendly and fun to chit-chat with while they were mixing up our drinks. This is definitely a cool place to check out, and we will definitely return.

My first visit was a few months ago, and I felt like I was bothering our server for water refills, napkins and other things. It was a Saturday night and while it was not packed, it took about an hour to get 2 panini's. Went today for my birthday, and my adult son told the server that the three of us were sitting on patio. Server shows up with 2 menus and 2 glasses for water. Sees me and scolds my son for not telling her that there was a third person. She brings a 3rd glass but never a 3rd menu. I specifically mention that we are here for happy hour specials. There is only 1 other table occupied, otherwise it's empty. My son goes and gets the server for a box and to order another personal board. We wait another long period to get it. I go inside to taste some cheese. We add on something to our bill. It was $104... I do some quick math and assume the price is because of the cheese I added to the bill. I add a tip on the lowish side, because we didn't really get any "service" to be worth the $18 I added onto it. I get home to review the receipt... and was charged $20 for the personal boards + the add ons... I am so let down. I spent $130 and didn't get awesome service or the happy hour discount. I was expecting to pay $50-$60 ish, and this caught me off guard. I have learned my lesson and won't be going back. To our surprise, we were so thrilled to see Colony Wine Merchant had a good sized menu with various options to choose from: small bites, appetizers, entrees and dessert. We weren't too hungry so we opted for the daily sandwich of the day and their seasonal soup offering. Every bite from both items was enjoyed so much. The soup had the perfect consistency of creaminess followed by savory tomato flavor. It had some delicious (and I think) roasted potatoes, and the side of roasted sourdough with roasted tomatoes was perfection and really brought the dish together beautifully. The daily sandwich of the day was also fantastic! We remember biting into the sandwich and it melting in our mouth. The bread was beautifully crunchy and the meat with all its toppings inside couldn't have been any better. For our drinks, we opted to do a tasting of whites and reds. The wines were selected by our host (if I recall) and remember enjoying them all. It was fun to taste not only different varietals, but wines from different parts of the world. I was especially excited to see they had a really great selection of wine bottles to purchase in their wine shop. I happened to see one of my favorite ones there. We ended up purchasing a sparkling wine bottle at the end of our experience to have with our thanksgiving meal the following day. The service was A+.
