I was told that Wingnutz was originally located at Knights of Columbus. Many people loved that location because, they shared fond memories with the owners. Now I never been to that location, so seeing Wingnutz collaborate with Froth Brewery was a great idea to me. The brewery is spacious and there are plenty of tables to choose from. There's even tables available for you to dine outside. The bar area is huge (2 wide screen tv's mounted), and the bartenders are very professional and friendly. Wingnutz/ Froth Brewery is well worth the visit. Wingnutz Half & Half- roast beef sandwich and 5 wings, with your choice of sauce on wings. Roast beef was good and came with a really good gravy to dip it in. Wings- all wings come with a very good crunchy crust. I want to say these are country fried style wings. Absolutely amazing taste, while generously drenched in sauce. I feel out of the three sauces I opted for (Wingnutz mild, BBQ honey garlic,Honey sriracha). The Wingnutz mild was the absolute best. read more

Tried this restaurant a while back and forgot to leave the review. The wings are perfectly crispy! However, I am personally not a fan of the flavors. I tried 4 different flavors and was left with the impression that I should've just stuck to basic hot or bbq. There is a strong vinegary aftertaste about the flavors. Service was quick despite it being so busy in the restaurant. It is a family atmosphere but they do have a small bar area as well. I seen that there was a patio, but since it is cold out it wasn't open! read more

Went to Millersport location. Food and menu were a big disappointment. Wings are nothing to get excited about. Just wings... Sandwiches were not very good. I don't know why people would give a recommendation on this place. read more

Came here with my buddies and it was a night for the week baby. We were looking for the best wings in Buffalo and this is what people have been raving about. The bartender told me what to get that was really nice. The medium buffalo ones were pretty hot but a good amount of hot. But hot enough to give me the hiccups right away and dip them in the bbq wing sauce and be too afraid to touch my eyes because what if it stings it already stung the first time I touched them and I need to take my contacts out but am too afraid too. I already washed my hands 3 times. Gwen stefani is on the wall here. Her picture is. I think if she was single and my age and my height and in the same restaurant as me I would try to kiss her. I would ask for her consent and confirm all these things. read more

I am not going to lie, I miss the original wingnutz location at the Knights where I could see and have a wonderful conversation with Ed and Alicia. Stopped at Froth specifically for Wingnutz and it wasn't the same experience. It was fine. The wings were great, the sauce, Wingnutz mild, delicious. Ill be back, but not as frequent as a flyer I once was. I yearn for thr good old days of water in bright solo cups, our seats at the large circle tables and hearing all about the fantastic news that Ed always had about Wingnutz and spreading the word. Ed and Alicia are what made Wingnutz special, as well as the tasty and amazing food. Also, not sure why their beef sandwich and wings combo doesn't use a weck roll. That discouraged us from ordering that combo special. Weck is everything, especially in Buffalo. The experience at the Froth location was a lot better than the experience at the Amherst take out location. I am grateful that I can come back to the North Buffalo spot. The parking lot is rough, but there is ample parking. Don't wear good shoes because you won't get them clean if it is a muddy day. read more

Wingnutz - Chicken Wings Near Me - Buffalo, New York

This location is mixed in with Froth Brewing bar. It's very off putting as I wasn't expecting a seat yourself and order on your phone with no greeting at all kind of experience. How it works- you walk in and you go to any table you like, scan the QR code that's on your table, and you order through a site. If you have cash, there is a register there and someone should help you. Oh, also you have to buy your drinks at the bar separately. Once food is ready, you'll get an alert on your phone via text and a waitress (or waiter) will bring it to you (which I wasn't expecting as it wasn't really clear) I ordered the pretzel bites and honey garlic/wingnutz mild wings and my friend ordered the fries and buffalo medium/wingnutz mild. Overall, food was good. The pretzel bites were fresh and the dipping sauce was flavorful (and lived up to the spicy name) wings were very crispy and sauced very well. My friend liked the fries as well, said they were heavy but good. A disclaimer- they have huge overly sized wings. If you do not like big wings, do not go. If that's your jam, I recommend making this your next spot. What I liked- the vibe of this place, warm lighting and wasn't crowded, ample parking. What I disliked- didn't feel very welcome, didn't get greeted or asked if we needed help by any of the staff or servers, VERY expensive (for my wings and pretzel bites cost me over $40) I would recommend this place if you don't mind being left alone or not having a full restaurant experience. Also, be prepared to pay good money. It's not bad, but definitely could be better read more

Welcome to the 20th chicken wing review from the Castle Ridge Wing Kings. For our friends who have been following from the beginning, thanks for reading. If you're new to the page, check out some of our previous posts. Either way, we'd love to see your comments on our posts; was it helpful, are we dead wrong about your favorite wings, is there an aspect of chicken wing consumption we're not considering? To evaluate our next stop, Wingnutz Buffalo, we'll need to dissect their tagline, "Size. Sauciness. Crunch." Location: 3.5 / 5 We visited the location inside Froth brewery which meant it had a pretty cool atmosphere and a GREAT beer selection. Unfortunately, the wing ordering process was clumsy; take a seat, figure out there is no wait staff, see the order here sign, oh not here this is just for beer, actually order here. We also missed engaging with the wait staff, hearing flavor recommendations, trying out new jokes, bragging about our facebook page, etc. Finally, OVER $2 PER WING! Wingnutz officially earns the distinction as the most expensive wing in Buffalo. Presentation: 4 / 5 Not bad. Metal trays with wings piled high and the bleu cheese was top notch. However, by the time we got most of the way through, the wings were drowning in sauce pond. While they were true to their "Sauciness" tagline, the sauce hindered their promise of "Crunch." Meat: 3 / 5 "Size" indeed. Turns out you can have too much of a good thing. Straight up, these wings were too big and the breading technique they employ made them even bigger. Cook: 7 / 10 Another conflicting score here. Kudos to Wingutz for delivering these wings hot and juicy. They were actually quite well cooked. But we all love a crispy wing and were excited to experience the advertised "crunch" so it was disappointing when that was compromised with the heavy breading and over-saucing. Standard Medium: 8 / 15 Medium is not Wingnutz flagship flavor so they're at a bit of a disadvantage with their weighting of this category but. The sauce application was actually a bit inconsistent across wings including sometimes being unevenly applied on a particular wing. Overall this made many of the wings soggy and the experience felt pretty sloppy. Specialty Flavors: 6.5 / 10 Full credit for uniqueness on the style - extra breading and some unique flavors. But the novelty wears off quickly. The Sriracha, highly anticipated at the Wing King's table, was sorely lacking in flavor. Honey garlic reminded some of us of the wings at Hooters or a Chinese buffet - I didn't sense that was meant in a complimentary way. Wingnutz: 32 / 50 Not to overstate the point, but Wingnutz offers a unique, non-traditional wing and they do so deliberately. After studying their website, we can confirm they prepare their wings exactly as they say they will - with the exception of the "Crunch" part. In the end, Wingnutz is a lot like the Opera, or house cats - you either 'get it' or you don't. read more

My son came into town from Florida and wanted to try his favorite wing restaurants. So we had wings for 5 days straight. Wingnutz we're his favorite. He loved them because they were large and meaty and loved the Wingnutz medium sauce. They were the most expensive of the other restaurants but worth it because of their size. Service was slow . The restaurant is a bit dark for my liking. read more

Wing selection and size were phenomenal... if you can't find it here, you won't find it...Beer is extremely cold(draft), which you cannot assume at every restaurant Anchor does not compare in my opinion read more

My fiancé and I love coming to Froth and getting Wingnutz for food. They have great mozzarella logs, pizza logs, pretzel bites, and nachos. We enjoy their specials especially their street corn logs! They were perfect. My fiancé loves their wings and the size of them! The servers are always great here and are super nice. read more

Sorry Bar Bills people but Wingnutz is better. Great service. I ordered the Hot Buffalo style and their Roast Beef Sandwich on a Kimmewick roll (they don't call it a Beef on Weck but it is). Everything was outstanding. Wingnutz is in the top 5 of my Buffalo Wing review. read more

French fries were really good and not too crunchy. Honey Sriracha fingers were outstanding. The fingers had a nice crunch to them and juicy in the inside. read more

Excellent!! Amazing wings and the service was great. Best wings I have ever eaten. Hands down!!!

Absolutely, hands down, the best wings I've had. Been to Bar Bill, Elmo's, no Gabriel's Gate or 9-11 Tavern, but I'm positive, they won't beat what the family and I had this evening! From the size, to the crisp, to the lathering of tasty sauce, these won't be beat. I tried the Cajun and the Wingnutz Medium(Honey Garlic, Buffalo Medium and BBQ, were also enjoyed this evening). The service was fantastic. Can't ask for more than hot, fresh eats to be served promptly. There was a retirement party happening while we there, and it was awesome to see everyone enjoying themselves. Granted, it was touch loud, but it was a party!!!! Will we be back? For sure! read more

Had the last dragon tacos amazing! For wing flavors we had the following Cajun Wingnutz medium Honey Sriracha bbq The wings were huge crispy and delicious. Now I hate franks hot sauce so I went with Wingnutz sauce, it's definitely different has a sweet yet hot kick to it, not for me but not bad, the honey sriracha bbq were pretty damn good, if they pitted these they would be incredible! The star of the show was the Cajun! They are not a dry Cajun, this sauce was phenomenal and I wish I only ordered these ones! read more

Wings were average. But they came with a lot of sauce, they did not come with celery or carrots no fries either. We also got the chicken fingers they were very thin and a bit hard on the ends. The ambience of the place was your typical bar restaurant nothing over the top. The the girl we had has a waitress was very good read more

Food was excellent and portions were good size. Wings were large and hamburger was large. Will definitely go there again when in the area

Nice atmosphere, it's ALWAYS busy I'm just not a huge fan of the flour coating on their wings. Froth has a decent selection of beers and the staff is always friendly read more

The wings were good. The service was good. I hate the ordering and payment system,TOAST. In my mind, using that system can make any dining experience toast, as in horrible, aggravating, confusing, etc. Anyway, I, a Buffalo first timer, was told by a reliable source that Wingnutz has the best wings in Buffalo. I unfortunately expected a great wing awakening, but got wings, just wings, like in almost anyplace in America, drenched in mild to hot sauces, meaty, cooked well, but just wings. read more

Our daughter has been living in Buffalo now for a few years. When we go to visit, she takes us to her new favorite restaurant. This time it was Wingnutz. We have been to many others but this one is assuredly the best. We tried four different sauces: barbecue, Cajun, mild, and the House sauce. All were excellent. From other reviews I can see that large wings are not some peoples' style. For us, they were welcome. Far less oily as well. It is kind of strange having to go to the bar and pay for beer separately. Just as strange is adding a tip before you've been served. I guess I'd like to think of a tip as a form of reward for making the experience pleasurable. I've also read comments about the prices. Indeed, they are quite high. In this case, anyway, you seem to get what you pay for. Our party of four ordered 40 wings. We only ate 24 and took the rest home. That's how big they are. Kudos to the owner who seems to pay attention to reviews. We will be back. read more

Best wings on planet earth, it's not even close. I live 4 hours away and drive there several times per year for the wings. The location in Froth Brewing is better than the takeout store, but both are good. The mild are perfect!! Mediums are pretty hot, but are still delicious. read more

I been telling everyone that y'all straight booty cause I think your wings straight booty sauce. That bein said, I like y'all roast beef. It ain't booty. Your parm fries taste like regular fries though. They ain't straight booty sauce. Slight booty I guess but come on shake that cheese man. If you get wings from this place just know they sauce is straight booty sauce. If you like wings don't even try it but they roast beef aight. It ain't booty sauce like they wing sauce. Y'all get a 2 cause the wings. If y'all just made roast beef, it would be a 3.5 maybe even a 4 but then wings man. read more

Wings are absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a flavour to add, the BBQ is out of this world. If you're getting a bunch of flavours, save Buffalo for last, it's the reaaaaal old school stuff and the taste sticks. We found 30 and a plate of parmesan fries amply fed four of us and gave us the chance to try six flavours. This location is an addition to Froth Brewing Co, a very good microbrew. As others have stated, WN uses Toast, which means you sit, scan a QR, put in your order (it registers your table), you pay/tip, and then the order comes out to you. Is this the absolute Platonic ideal of a restaurant experience? No. Is it an easy, efficient system that shows you all of the great varieties, lets you make clear custom orders, and makes sure you get out when you have to if you're in a rush? Yes. Even given the above, and we arrived before a Bills game and got one of the few open tables, the food was ready in 10 minutes, all the servers were super friendly, and two asked us if we needed anything else. The bartenders were also fantastic, friendly, quick, even getting us a refill on pop. Place is a gem. Great work. read more

Crispy Crispy Crispy wings!!! Located within Froth Brewing. Mobile ordering for food and you have to go up to the bar for drinks. First time here so we were unfamiliar with the flavors and the difference between Wingnutz and regular. We flagged down a server and she explained them all and made recommendations. This place is great because they allow you to change the flavor every 5 wings where most places are 10 wings. You can pay a little extra to get all flats or all drums. These wings are also very large. Good amount of sauce on them, not dry! We went with 5 people so we got 30 wings to start, 6 different flavors and we each got 1 to try and a separate order of regular hot (franks). Out of the 30 we tried Wingnutz Mild, Medium and Hot, Honey sriracha bbq and cajun. Cajun was easily the best - it was spicy but not a dry rub and not a mouth full of random spice. We ended up ordering another single of all Cajun because they were so good. The Wingnutz flavors are different and the spiciness/sweetness changes in each vs same flavor throughout that gets progressively hotter. Would go back for the Cajun and the regular hot! Definitely some of the better wings of Buffalo! read more

as a follow up. i still haven't recieved the promised reduction in my bill from the manager (who said he was the owner) like i figure, was just putting out the fire the lack of service and rude waistaff created. think that a person who dropped $160.00 at your establishment deserves the truth. read more

I am absolutely furious. I order wings and buffalo New York to get buffalo wings and I ordered a side of blue cheese and instead I got four ranches. They need to understand that people order food for a reason and they want what they want. This establishment gives absolutely no careto their food whatsoever do not do not do not order from this place. If they can't get this one simple thing right they are not gonna get the order right at all go somewhere else. read more

100% would go back without a doubt get the Signature sauces if you go. Also make sure to sign the owners guest book when you go

Second time here. Second time I had to send back wings as they were ice cold in the center. Never coming back.

Wingnutz used to be my favorite wings in Buffalo. They were perfect. I have no idea what has happened to this place over the years. The wings aren't as crispy and juicy as they used to be and the price has skyrocketed. I paid $75 for 20 wings and fries. That is ridiculous and unfortunately sad when a business takes a turn like this. I don't think I will be back. read more

The service was good and the food came out fast. The crunch was off putting and there was enough sauce for 15 orders of wings. The wing nutz mild was bland and the honey garlic was overly sweet. The blue cheese was watery and not good. I don't understand the hype. Most pizza shops have better wings. I give it 2 stars for the excellent service. read more
