Decent, no food complaints, just nothing to rave about. Server was attentive. The dining area itself has some real cosmetic problems that should be dealt with. Our booth had huge rip in the seat. Not something you'd want to sit on or slide yourself across. Menus were sticky and need wiped down. Place was fairly busy for a Wednesday evening, but it was dinner time. Would have appreciated if they spaced other guests out instead of so close together, especially since so many other tables were open. Wingers, a spot with reliably good food and service is ruining their Winnemucca venue for me. The last two times I've been in, the music playing on both sides was so loud that I literally couldn't hear across the table or when the server spoke to me. I understand loud music on bar side, but we were on the family side. Each visit, I politely asked if music could be turned down just a little. Same answer both times. Manager on casino/bar side is in charge of that and currently not in. Unacceptable response. Well folks, you've lost a regular customer. And, I know I'm not the only one. I have heard several friends say they like the food but won't be back because the blaring rock music gives them a headache and they can't even have a conversation. I have to concur. Have some consideration for all of your guests and turn the volume down or I won't be back. read more

1 star is way too many. Went on a Friday early evening and the place was DEAD. But there were 4 people working there. Did I say working? Yeah, right. It took over 5 minutes to be seated and another 15 to get the menu. Everyone was way too busy talking to each other. I ordered a salad and waited another 20 minutes for that. Almost 45 minutes to get a SALAD. I ate, pushed my plate away, and then waited 10 minutes to get the check. Did I get one? Never. I put money on the table and left. Great food and service! Greeted with a Welcome to Wingers" as soon as we walked in the door. They have a great menu selection and was a hard decision on what to order but we finally decided on a Mac and cheese dish (many to choose from or you can build your own), bone in wings with a selection of sauces, and a side of fries. So good! Generous size portions too. We'll be back to try some other of their yummy sounding dishes, or during their happy hour from 3-6 Monday thru Friday where they have food specials. We have an overnight stay at the New Frontier RV park and walked over to Wingers for dinner. Honestly, we weren't expecting much but were pleasantly surprised with great service (thank you Brenda F) , a great beer selection (they were icy cold) and really good food! We both got the garlic burgers and my husband got the naked wings with Thai chili sauce. I have a seafood/shellfish allergy and normally can't order fries because they are fried in the same oil as "fish and chips" but Brenda and the team were able to accommodate me and it was such a delight! I really appreciate the extra effort Brenda made for me. We had an enjoyable and yummy experience. We loved the relaxed feel and tvs all around so we could catch up with college football after a long day on the road. We would definitely stop in again when we are near the area. Thank you!! After chasing around the desert shooting photos and video of the world's biggest and most powerful steam locomotive, Union Pacific's Big Boy #4014, we were looking for a nice dinner, and there next to the hotel, was Winger's. If there's one thing I can tell you, it's this. Don't order anything with garlic in the name unless you mean it. And don't complain if your burger or fries is garlicky. When Tati, (our wonderful server), set the plates on the table, we could immediately smell the garlic. And it's not like they just put a bunch of garlic on ordinary food, the food is built around it, and it all fits well together. The chef is good at this. My wife had the garlic burger, with garlic fries. I took a bite, and it was filled with flavor. A good burger all the way around, on a nice soft brioche bun. Fries with chunky garlic all over, and a really tasty garlic dipping sauce. She usually only eats one or two fries, as she's not a fan, but I think she ate the most fries I've ever seen her eat. I got the barbacoa burger, with garlic fries of course. The barbacoa was super tender, with just a hint of sweetness, and a great sauce, with onion rings inside. Delicious! And, of course, loved those fries. Iced tea was clear and clean tasting. We both appreciate a good glass of iced tea. The place was very clean, all the staff was friendly and did a great job. Easy to get to off the I-80, and a beautiful view overlooking the valley. Next time we're in Winnemucca, we know exactly where we'll be having lunch or dinner. read more

Sports bar and Casino Convenient and fast walk from our hotel where we stayed the night. We typically try to avoid casinos and "chain" restaurants but it was just a quick walk to eat here. Took about 10 minutes to get 3 of us seated when we entered from the casino side. No one greeted us even though there was a sign saying "Please wait to be seated" Service was okay, took another 10 minutes to order. The tortilla soup was awesome, the bacon nacho French fries we had as an appetizer was great. They had a limited but pretty well-rounded menu. LOVE Only restaurant near my hotel. LIKE Food was pretty good. MEH Came in about 8:15 on a Thursday night and was greeted by two young women saying "it's going to be a wait" and "we're out of almost everything." After checking, they finally decided they could manage wings and a side salad to go. I was initially told it would be 5-10 minutes, but after I paid, the other woman said it would be 15-20 minutes. They didn't seem that busy, so I don't know what the delay was. Others who came in after me were told that they were out of mashed potatoes and french fries, but otherwise received a friendly welcome and were promptly seated. I kind of have to wonder if my chilly reception was because I was wearing a face mask. Whatever. I've managed to avoid COVID so far and I don't plan to risk it for some chicken wings. Walked in, bar was not that busy, patrons had left (we could see dirty plates and glasses that had not been cleared). Walked around the bar to find where to sit and decided to sit where there were still dishes left from prior guests. Bartender finally comes we try to order our drinks and most of their beer on tap was unavailable, ordered a glass of wine and after a while of waiting she says they are out of it. Selected another one and a cocktail... it took her 20 minutes to come back and take our order, there was no one tending the bar. She had to wait on tables also, she was trying her best but a little forgetful... during this time other patrons walk in and somehow are being tended to.... I wave down another bartender/waitress and she says the other girl was the one that could take our order... finally she comes over we order and after however long we finally get our meal and are able to order another drink. I think their work model should be revised, bartender should only tend the bar. We couldn't wait to get out of there. We had wings and tacos and they were average and a little cold. We were seated promptly and Harlie was our server! She provides outstanding, exceptional service! She was fast and had a very thorough knowledge of all their offerings! We order and when he brought our food he "says I gave y'all a family discount" that took off 5$ off our overpriced 60$ meal for 4 people. Mind you we didn't ordered drinks or starters. I'll never come back here ever again. We still tipped him well even though most people wouldn't have. Specifically after we waited so long. I wanted to talk to the manager but there was no one in charge there. The girl with the ponytail most definitely didn't tell Mark on purpose not sure if they don't like each other or what.
