    Adobada [Spicy Pork] Tacos.

My husband orders tacos from here pretty regularly. It is his favorite tacos in town. Yesterday I had the opportunity to try their tacos. They are delicious. I look forward to trying more their menu has in store. I ordered 20 tacos to go, and my order was out quick. The ladies working were kind, patient, and helpful. There is a lot more space inside than I expected. I am sure they get busy and they can accommodate big crowds.

traveling on the road, Cinco de Mayo decide to get some Mexican and have a couple ceviche tostadas Cameroon very good. I had two tacos too. It was a bit much, but the Carnitas was chunky and good. My girlfriend had enchilada and taco combo with shredded beef great red sauce for the enchilada the rice was dirty Mexican rice time to hit the road, luego

The food here is awesome. I'm not sure how they get such tasty and fresh fish and shrimp to this part of the country miles away from the coast or any big city! The shrimp aguachile, ceviche tostadas, and fish tacos are all fresh and tasty. Super authentic!! It could've been 5 stars for me but I knocked a star off because they were not up front at all about the price changes. There is a small printout on each table that's easily missed that says that the prices in the menu may not be correct and have rose due to inflation. It's understandable but there was no warning for any of the items and when we asked for a small cup of salsa for the chips, we found out that that cost $3 per cup. The shrimp aguachile says $14.95 on the menu for a small but we were charged $19.95 (the price of the large) and some other items increased as well. It would help if they were just a little more up front about the price changes so that it avoids an awkwardness when the bill comes.

We've been coming here for about 10 years and it used to be very, very good. Now it's decent but not great - unless perhaps you're a fan of the seafood and appreciate a good tilapia. My Chile relleno was over cooked, limp, watery and no taste. Eva's veggie burrito tortilla seemed to have been microwaved to a plastic, uncuttable wrap. The Barbacoa had good texture but also pretty tasteless. Even the tortilla chips seems thick and a little burnt. Oh well, we ate all and the modelo negro was cold so we left satisfied but a bit disappointed after all these years.

The food was more authentic then anywhere else I've had here in winnemucca. The service was good. We were checked on continually, our order was taken promptly and efficiently and she cleared my dish as soon as I was done. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my chimichanga had grilled chicken inside of it. Maybe that's authentic, I don't know, but it's not what I'm used to, the taste was a shock. Not bad, but not great.

    Mango margarita. So good!!!

When the owner is not there, the servers are incredibly rude. All done, so tired of crappy service!

While retrieving paragliders, that flew from Mount Rose all the way to Winnemucca, I stopped here…read moreto grab some food. While looking on yelp, some pictures caught my eye here. I went in and let them know that I only had a few minutes to get some to go food. They said no problem. The hostess was quite friendly. What I ordered: Cadillac margarita Potato skins Half rack of ribs à la cart It only took about 10 minutes and I can tell you the ribs are really good . The hostess that took my order asked what kind of barbecue sauce I wanted, they had quite a few choices, but I just went with plain barbecue sauce. Potato skins were really just baked potato cut into wedges and covered with cheese and bacon, but they were still good. I would order them again. I sat at the bar and ordered a Cadillac margarita. I let the bartender know that I was in a hurry and she told me that she would get to me as soon as she could ... there is no one else sitting at the bar ...she went over to the hostess stand and started talking to the hostess. The restaurant was empty. I sat in amazement. while I looked on, wondering why she made me wait. No customers, no one at the bar ... I guess as a customer you're not allowed to make any demands or want something quick lol . The bartender did have to look up how to make a Cadillac. She did a great job though. The food was great. The margarita was great just a strange little power-play from the bartender. Other than that I would definitely come back. On a sidenote for the bartender: good tips and return customers happen when you give expedited service happily.

We were driving through Winnemucca and had multiple recommendations to go to The Pig. Google said…read moreit's closed, but we learned it's just under new management. Overall, the food was great the pricing was very reasonable for bbq, and staff was kind. The wings were by far our favorite. They seemed smoked. Seemed to have a little dry rub and the hot sauce on them. The rubs were unique with a dry rub and a sauce too. The homemade ranch and fry sauce were tasty. They were generous with paper towels and moist towelettes. We sat outside because we had our dog. Outdoor seating is likely available just for this purpose. Lots of people traveling and just needing some fresh air and space for their pup. The road in front is high trafficked The indoor dining decor was pretty fun! Lots of pigs from all different places and times in history. Had a sports bar feel too. Lots of motorcyclists but there also seemed to be a motorcycle event in town this weekend.
