I had the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl...the salmon was delicious but needs more sauce for the whole dish! The rice needs Salt! We drove from Fallon to Fernley this afternoon to try Wingers in Fernley. This is the third, maybe fourth transition in this building, so each time we are hopeful. We ordered a burger (rare, but was very well done ) some wings (bone in) and an order of blackened chicken and bacon tacos along with bacon cream fries or some garlic fries. We went with an open mind, it was a little busy but we were seated right away and the server came to take our order. We had no napkins or silverware but got our order in about 35 minutes to get the food. Which was fast! So no complaints about wait, food delivery. The food was not good. The burger was dry and well done, the tacos were soggy and the only item that seemed pretty good were the wings. My grandson ate all 10 of his wings. My granddaughter didn't have a fork to eat her salad and no one had napkins. We asked for place settings and the server brought one and still no napkins. I finally got up and asked the front desk for napkins and she did finally bring some when we were almost done. The waitress started picking up our dishes and wanted to heck us out so we agreed and wanted to go but I really feel the "tip," process was high pressure. Not in love with having a little RF scanner type checkout and stared at for the "tip." I'd like a minute to review what we got, what I paid for it and add a tip. I have no idea what we paid, if the $93.00 for a burger, chicken wings and salad was correct. It just got shoved in my face. For our first time in, it started out fine but I will NEVER GO back. I paid and tipped just to get us out of there but the overall experience from start to finish landed on the "never return," because the food was terrible and the service was terrible. Wingers - Fernley, NV Visited around 2:30 PM on a quiet afternoon. Service was excellent. Our server Hala was right on top of everything - friendly, attentive, and never left us waiting. I ordered the Double Smash Burger and my wife had the Bacon Cheeseburger. We also shared a 15-piece order of breaded wings (half Double Barrel BBQ, half traditional Buffalo). The fries that came with the burgers were the highlight-really flavorful. The burgers were just okay. Mine was a bit under-seasoned, and the patty slid straight out of the bun on the first bite (felt like a slip-and-slide). The wings were the biggest disappointment, especially for a place called Wingers. The breading was barely noticeable-they weren't crunchy at all, just sticky. The traditional Buffalo had a little too much vinegar for my taste, and the Double Barrel BBQ tasted like a basic KC-style sauce. Both flavors of wings were a bit overcooked. We went here The day before they officially opened. My son got a invite and invited my wife and I so we had a Reservation for 4. My son ordered Korean bbq chicken strips they were really good the chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted great. my sons wife had the Chicken Sandwich she said said he was perfect. I had tacos they were very good. my wife had a garlic breath burger I think it was called it was ok kinda dry. Our drinks took a while but then I learned from the waitress its due to they were doing drinks that day in 2 ltr bottles due to it did not open for 1 more day while we were there the Co2 was delivered so now its ok. so that was more than fine the food was good the Deserts were amazing I will say there onion rings are not that good compared to all points grill but they were ok. The service at this place makes up for everything they were amazing and attentive Michala was our server she was hands down the best service we have had in a long time they spent a lot of time training there staff even the day we were there I am super excited to see how this place does in this town . There Salsa is not hot but tasted good there chips dont need paprika on them they are fresh and that takes over the chips and the Guac tasted only like avocado not really good at all to be honest. read more

We were excited to finally try this place. Since they just opened, we understand there may still be some growing pains, but based on this lunch visit, we may wait a bit before returning. Upon arrival, there was no wait, and our hostess, Ella, was welcoming and polite. She did not ask whether we preferred a booth or a table, but we were seated promptly. While waiting, we noticed one server making rounds, checking on tables, and offering complimentary popcorn. Unfortunately, our table was not visited although he walked past several times during our time. Our server, Joe, was personable, but he seemed a bit forgetful throughout our visit. After taking our order and confirming it, the wrong beer was brought out. Once we pointed it out, he corrected it quickly. The biggest issue involved our cheese curds. A table that had just been seated was mistakenly served our order before they had even been asked to place their food order. Maybe food runners if not the server should confirm correct order to table number. Sadly, we were not given an explanation for the delay, and it would have been helpful to receive a brief apology or update as to the delay. About 30 minutes later, our cheese curds finally arrived. They were fine, though not especially memorable. Shortly after the Honey Ginger Pecan Salad arrived and was the highlight of the meal. It was fresh, flavorful, and very enjoyable, although I would have liked the apple slices cut into smaller pieces. We also ordered 20 breaded wings $30 with three sauces: Original, Butter Cajun, and Honey BBQ. Since they offer both breaded and naked wings, we decided to try them as served. The Original sauce was a little sweeter than expected but tasty, while the Butter Cajun and Honey BBQ were decent, though not particularly distinctive. Throughout the meal, we had to wait for a water refill, and when we asked for napkins, our server forgot to bring them but did receive our take out container and bill. Overall, the experience did not quite meet our expectations. That said, it may simply reflect the adjustment period of a newly opened restaurant. I would be open to giving them another try in the future, especially since the salad was very good and we would like to sample one of their burgers next time. Hopefully, the service will be smoother on a future visit. read more

New-ish location in Fernley. wings were out fast. Definitely preferred the dry rub over the sauced. Had to ask for ranch twice, and napkins. Services were doing busy work vice checking in on guests. Lots of workers standing around "in training". So take that for what it's worth... I'll give it another try but if not much improvement I'm updating my rating. It was clean, there's pool tables, there's indoor and looked like outdoor seating available. Still a work in progress. read more

Welcome to Fernley finally. After many years of previously failed business and Wingers multiple tries, we have lift off! Went here during the soft opening, no you're right, I couldn't wait. Decided not to go at lunch or dinner but somewhere in between. The place has been remodeled to a family sporty environment. Clean lines, short but effective sound barriers. A gracious and friendly hostess. Complimentary popcorn while you perused the 2 page menu and 4 page drinks and dessert menu as well. Unfortunately, the beer taps were not available and the first 3 bottled beers were also depleted. I guess no one realized Fernley likes its beer. Our food was delivered quickly and hot. The Chicken tortilla soup served. A slightly thicker consistency than a chicken broth. Warm spices. Delicious. Cajun salmon served with garlic mashed potatoes and succotash. The salmon was spot on, the mash needed a touch of salt. Succotash? New to me. Lots of crunchy celery, carrots, beans and a bit of broccoli . Although I ate, definitely not favored. Would have preferred just broccoli or carrots. For a soft opening, nicely done. Staff was coordinated in all black attire, a professional look. Popcorn bowl never went empty. There is a bar area with pool table. An outdoor patio too. Wingers is a welcomed addition to Fernley. I hope everyone takes an opportunity to give them a try. Well, we came by on a Friday night with a group of people. We knew they had been open only a week, so we expected glitches. Unfortunately, they were only serving cans of beer and sodas, so that eliminated the ladies for alcohol. The appetizers arrived quickly and the queso was very good. Service was very slow, and really couldn't answer questions about some of the food (allergies to some items), but orders were placed. Most had Sticky Finger "wings". It was unusual that some of the same entrees had different flavors... Parmesan mashed potatoes were sweet, Parmesan fries roasted of garlic... The spicy wings came out with plain barbecue sauce... the manager dropped by and asked how everything was. When we tried to discuss some of the discrepancies in orders, flavors, timing of meals coming out (30 minutes apart from first served to the last), he just walked away. We'll check back in a few months so they can get there foundation and experiences up. read more

I've been so excited for this place to open as we have a severe lack of sit down restaurants here in Fernley! Decided to stop in for drinks and apps as it was between lunch and dinner. Since it was between meal rushes, it wasn't very busy and our party of 5 was seated immediately. You get popcorn while you browse the menu which my 7 year old absolutely loved. Unfortunately they were out of quite a lot of beers and other drinks as they don't have their beer taps in yet but we all managed to find a drink anyway. For food we did some wings and cheesy bacon fries and my son had a kids meal. I appreciate that the kids menu has a decent few items with healthy sides! The wings were fantastic, as they should be given the restaurant's name ;) the fries were really good too, I loved the beer cheese. Only complaint is the cheese could have been hotter as it ended up kinda solid from not being all that hot. Still very tasty though. Service was amazing, Shanell was a wonderful server. Will definitely be back, hopefully the taps will have come in by then read more

Maybe I'm being too critical here, but I don't think this place will last longer than a year. The building is cursed, lol. No one seems to be able to draw in the "constant crowds" long-term to make make their business ideals last long term. My recent visit with family found the food to be ok, the service less than ok, the ambiance even less ok. Too loud inside, service too slow and three times our dishes/drink refills/ice refills were ignored. My wife asked for the dessert menu at the end of her meal. It never arrived. The check was asked for twice before we got it. They have a bunch of staff there and everyone seems to be running around getting nothing done. Maybe it'll get better after summer when the rookie mistakes are better addressed. read more

We had such a wonderful experience at Wingers! It was the perfect spot for a mom date with two moms and a whole crew of kids. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everyone made us feel right at home. A huge shoutout to Ashley, our server, who was attentive, friendly, and kept up with our busy table effortlessly. Krista behind the bar was fantastic as well! I also ordered the 10 piece chicken wings and they were just terrible they were dry and tough as if they had spent the week under a heat lamp . I was not thrilled with the buffalo sauce either . If I could give 10 stars I would! Appetizers were crispy cheese curds and wings. Good start. We had Korean o rice bowl, chicken finger tacos, crispy Baja tacos, and sticky fingers quesadilla. All were EXCEPTIONAL! Good strong pour on the mixed drinks too. We will be back! read more

Great food and good service. I say good, because they are learning. My waiter was great, but lacked support from the bartender. I say this because it took thirty minutes to get a beer, while I watched the bartender serve people at the bar that came in after. Now management made it right, of course, but to see people at the bar get multiple drinks before I could get one within thirty minutes was disappointing. I understand that the bartender is serving for tips, but someone should remind them that so are their wait staff. But other than that great place great atmosphere. So I am leaving 4 stars, and will most likely update it on my next visit, as long as it doesn't take a half an hour to get a beer. read more

After waiting about 10 minutes, we were approached by a waitress asking for our order. I asked a question about a beer listed on their on-tap menu. 45 min wait so sat at the bar. Husband didn't like his food. He got the chicken tacos. Chicken was hard to chew and overcooked. Salmon tacos were ok but needed more sauce. Bartender was by herself. Chips and salsa are nasty. Margarita was ok, half way through it was hurting my stomach. We ended up getting the nachos with our dinner. I know they just opened and my expectations were low. We ordered a little bit of everything: buffalo cauliflower, sticky chicken, wings and burger and garlic fries. Reasonably priced. Everything but the burger was exceptional (it was basic). Sat at table for 15 minutes before we flagged someone down for water. Server came by a couple minutes later finally. We ordered cocktails/food at once so we could cut down time. It took way too long for cocktails. I got mine after 35 minutes, husband got his 10 minutes later and my mom didn't get hers at all. After 45 minutes server came back and said they had no mint....it took 45 minutes to let us know that? And there's a market in the same shopping center that sells mint (weak). Oh and first drink my husband wanted took bitters and they said they didn't have any....again, raleys has it.
