As we passed through town twice this weekend on a long drive, I had occasion to try breakfast and lunch in the drive-thru. Good experience. Special shout out to Teri running the drive-thru on Sunday. She was cheerful and clearly kept moving to get orders from the line, prepare orders, collect payments, and hand out orders. And she wore a mask dealing with us. Very much appreciate that as my sister and I are high risk and she, as the others working here, access out food. Introduced my sister to chicken fajita pita and sourdough jack sandwiches. This was my first time trying a Jack in the Box and I was pleasantly surprised. Cause of COVID, the dining room was closed so everything is takeout. The service was quick and nothing in our order was missing. I ordered the Bacon Swiss burger with curly fries. The burger has good flavor and I really liked the bun. It was different than the typical burger bun from fast food chains. The curly fries though was really good. I also got ranch dressing and avocado lime sauce to dip them in. A nice twist than the original ketchup go-to for fries. read more

My review is based solely on my drive-thru experience. I haven't had jack in the box in a little over two years and the last time was actually at this same exact location when I was on my way to California. I drove up to the ordering station and was greeted immediately, ordered my food and drove up to pick it up. I was greeted again and the experience was pleasant. I ordered the sriracha burger with curly fries and a drink. I drove away and found a nice shaded area where I could eat my food and quench my thirst. As I grabbed my food and drink to get out of the car I guess the lid was not secured enough and spilled my drink before I got a sip in but I am sure it was refreshing and with enough frizzle to make you tingle and quench your thirst, or at least, I hope it was. Drive through closes HOURS before the posted closed time. Either it's Googles fault or they're pulling a fast one. Employees are impatient and always forget sauces and silverware as they try to rush you through the line. Never much of a friendly service. Management needs an upgrade on standards. read more

Sunday June 6th 2121....Order 4 burgers and 4 fries one of the fries was a curly fries. When home found out that they forgot the curly fries. When back and went inside and was told to leave as no one was allowed inside the restaurant...if so why is your door open then...ok when back through the drive thru and told them that they forgot my curly fries and waited until my car pulled up and the young girl that took my order when I first came through and served the car before us was no where to be found...Really this is the Service that deserves $15.00 and hour. So after waiting about 1 min another young lady came to the window and said $30.50 please. I said no no no I am here for the curly fries that was missing from my order. She asked the size and after 15 sec came back with my curly fries. My wife came with me and by the time we came home her food was cold. NEVER COMING BACK to this Jack in the box!. Visited Fernley Jack n the Box on 8/22/14. Ordered a #3. Was then asked by the cashier if I wanted the combo. I thought this was understood by ordering the #3. I said yes. She rang up each item individually and the meal cost me about $2.00 more than the combo. Watch it here. This is not the first time they have don't this. Stopped in with my father-in-law, he paid, so I cannot complain about the price, right? Anyway, he had a sausage biscuit (we were there for breakfast...) and I had a breakfast burrito. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the large size and flavor if it too! Not shabby at all! It was my first time at a JITB. The only problem? Unfortunately, I no "speakey de espanolio." i ate here with a coupon and the service was marginally good. but when the girl got my soda she couldn't get the cups out correctly and put her whole hand in the cups. then got kind of pissy when i told her i wanted a cup she hadn't put her hand in. i told her also she had to throw those other cups away because she had her hand in several of them. she ignored me and served other customers with them. i called the manager over and told her about it. i don't know if anything was done about it. but i will certainly watch and not use the drive through if stuff like that happens a lot. we did get some food from there last summer and the service was good and so was the food. so they are okay as far as jack in the box goes. read more

Hadn't been to a Jack in the Box in like forever, and with Burger King closed at 1030pm, this was a last resort in the good ol' town of Fernley. Service provided was beyond bitchy, and all food was well below par. Onion rings were at least like Burger King and edible. read more

First, the Fernley restaurant is across the street from MCD's and down the block from TacoB. As for the food it is okay, but the service from front to back is awful. They must be deaf, unable to read, or have a game where the one that does the worst wins a prize. I have given them a number of time to get my order right, they have failed. Customer service could have them blowing the others of the park. In my eyes they are the worst of the three bad fast foods in the area read more
