Placed mobile order, at 1:13, food was ready and order was confirmed within minutes! I was asked multiple times by Ashley if the order was correct, if anything else was needed! I was in and out of the drive thru in under five minutes!!! Great customer service, fast, order correct.. Return every time I'm in town and need something quickly for the kiddos! I've never been in the store, it's a great location, never had an issue, always EXCELLENT customer service!! read more

This restaurant needs to be shut down. Read the other recent reviews of this dumpster fire of an operation they are running lately. At what point do law enforcement, the Fire Marshal, or another local authority need to step in and address what is happening at this Taco Bell? If there is an actual emergency at nearby businesses, police, fire or ambulance won't be able to respond because of this chaotic traffic jam their drive thru is causing. It's like a game to this staff, it's like they're trying to do this for fun. I'm sure they're not doing this on purpose but on the other side of the coin, read all of their recent reviews, it sure looks like a game to them. On the evening of October 1, 2026, I spent approximately two hours trapped in the drive-thru at the Fernley Taco Bell. I understand that 8:00 p.m. is part of the dinner rush, so I expected some delay. What I did not expect was a situation that became so disorganized that, in my opinion, it created an actual public-safety hazard. When I finally reached the speaker, I was told that the restaurant was not accepting cash or card payments and that customers could only order through the Taco Bell mobile app or DoorDash. There was no sign or warning before entering the drive-thru explaining this. A simple sign stating, "Mobile and DoorDash orders only -- no cash or card payments currently accepted," could have prevented much of what happened. Instead, customers continued entering a drive-thru they effectively could not use, and once inside, there was no practical way to leave. The backup became enormous. At one point, the line extended toward AutoZone, while a second line formed across the street into the Grocery Outlet parking lot. Cars were blocking the street completely. The two lines essentially formed a "Y," with drivers competing to merge into the same drive-thru. What a nightmare. During the roughly two hours I was stuck there, I personally counted at least four near-collisions behind me, cars honking and witnessed one road-rage confrontation where the 2 lines merged into 1. Traffic flow was being blocked, people were trying to get out, but blocked by other impatient people protecting their spot, drivers were becoming increasingly frustrated, and customers who finally reached the speaker were furious when they learned that normal payment methods were not being accepted. Several people were yelling profanities at the employees. I actually felt bad for the employees dealing with that situation. If employees truly are not permitted to put up a temporary sign warning customers, then management or corporate policy needs to change immediately. If they simply chose not to warn customers, that is even more concerning. Either way, the result was the same: a restaurant's drive-thru problem spilled into surrounding traffic and created what appeared to me to be a legitimate safety issue. I will also accept responsibility for staying in line after realizing something was obviously wrong. I had just finished a stressful day at work, really wanted a Mexican Pizza, and kept thinking the line would eventually start moving. That was my mistake. Unfortunately, this was not my first strange experience at this location. A few months earlier, I went there for breakfast and the employee at the speaker politely told me, essentially, that she was not ready for a customer and suggested I go to Burger King instead. She was polite about it, but the situation was so unusual that I remembered it. After what happened on October 1, however, this has gone beyond simply being poor customer service. When a drive-thru backup is interfering with surrounding traffic, drivers are nearly colliding, road-rage incidents are occurring, and customers are effectively trapped for extremely long periods of time before learning they cannot even purchase food normally, someone needs to address the operation of this location. Read the other reviews and decide for yourself. There appears to be a long-running customer-service problem at this location, and after what I witnessed on October 1, I believe it has reached the point where management, Taco Bell corporate, and potentially local authorities should determine whether changes are necessary to prevent another dangerous traffic situation. Their customer service is so bad that at this point it is an ongoing public safety issue. Somebody is going to get hurt or killed from this one day if no changes are made. Pedestrians walking by have to zig-zag around a bunch of cars carefully trying not to get hit. Cars are playing chicken with each other. This mess was embarrassing. After this experience, I will not be returning to any taco bell ever again in life over this level of carelessness and incompetence. Don't just take my word for it, Read the other reviews, they do not care. They want you all to go away. read more

Used to be a solid location but in recent months it's turned into a cluster, to say the least. Not sure who they have managing the place now but the incompetence is obvious. Super long wait times, huge dip is consistency, and allowing you to select pick up in the mobile app for orders but they lock the doors at random, despite the hours stating they're open. Never again at this location. read more

They'd rather you didn't order here, guys. Kids had a hankering for Taco Bell so we put in an order. The kids went to pick up the order and the line took 45 mins to pick up online order in the drive thru (no lobby option) They were pressured to move out of the line before they could check for accuracy and when we unpacked the order at home we were missing 8 of the 24 items paid for. The items we did get were crushed and or unwrapped, and the slushie was 50% full. No response on the mobile order customer service. I will not be back to this location. I wish I'd read these review before I ordered. read more

For the most part Taco Bell is great. The servings are more than adequate. But there are times when it's very skimpy and that can be disappointing. The staff is always very friendly. I just hope they can keep up the quality because if they do, I will eat there more often. read more

I'm prego and decided Taco Bell would be an okay choice. Boy did they prove me wrong today. Ordered a number 6 comes with sour cream. They forgot it. I then went in and asked the short kid with curly hair at the counter to remake and he refused and just threw sour cream in my bag. Asked for refund and was denied. I asked for management as I'm familiar and satisfied with Damion's help, kid said managers weren't there. Very disappointed with his customer service. read more

Stopped by on a Thursday evening for a quick meal. This location wants to solely rely on their ordering kiosk. We placed our $73 order (4 of us) and the system crashed. The manager says "it always does that, just re-enter it". So we did. After placing our $73 order, the system crashed again. She laughed and said "I figured it would do it again" we asked if she could take our order at the counter and her response was "no, cuz we're really busy at the drive thru". As we left a Door Dash driver said to us "just go, this place is a disaster!". We walked over to Burger King instead. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I was the only one in the drive-through. I pre-ordered my order and it still took 27 minutes for six items, and then they forgot an item. read more

I'd give it 0/5 if I could. Ordered ahead on the app and sat at the window for 45min they marked order as complete so it doesn't ruin the numbers for corporate. And I continued to sit. Showed up 911. Got food at 9:55. read more

I come to this Taco Bell every other Monday with my grandparents, and unfortunately we've had the same issue multiple times. My sister and I usually order first, then my grandparents place their order if they want anything. Every visit, some of the employees become rude and impatient with my grandparents. They have naturally quiet voices, so they sometimes have to speak a little louder to be heard. Instead of treating them with respect, the employees mocked the way they were talking, which was incredibly disrespectful. On top of that, our order was incorrect. We paid for Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, but they were missing the sauce, and we ordered two Nacho Fries but only received one. My grandparents were polite and did nothing to deserve the way they were treated. Customer service should be respectful, especially toward older customers. I hope management addresses this and works on improving both the staff's attitude and order accuracy. read more

Way to run a business to the ground! Congrats. Firstly, this goes out to the owner of this restaurant. You are blessed with wonderful and hard working employees. Have patronized this location for many years. The staff has always been exceptionally kind and never made a drive thru mistake. Tonight was a dystopian scene. Tortured workers moving slow like zombies since there wasn't any air conditioning. I invite anyone; health inspectors, manager of any kind, owner, customers, to view a later evening inside this establishment. The sanitary conditions are abysmal and not to the fault of the kids working since it is so slammed bizee that the patience and diligence they display is award worthy! Watched the show intently and was amazed by their grace. They had no time to clean up spilled meat on floor and various trash fell lightly to the smeared concrete like autumn leaves. Why? Probably due to them not having 1 second to breathe, let alone take a potty break. There were about 1,000 hungry customers inside, outside, and upside down. Also on display from a recent renovation: tons of boxes haphazardly jenga-stacked in the main dining area, every surface dirty, dusty, and or covered by food being made or waiting alone, for a sad tortured worker to return. The overall mood is depressing. They all looked so hyperfocused, meloncholy; yet would take several minutes to say "sorry for the wait" to each customer. Super sad face y'all. Give them some happiness and treat them like humans. Another unsightly item to feast my eyes upon was that the drink machine was missing the whole bottom metal cover and you could see all the beverage hoses. It felt so nasty like it was pantsless. My eyes were continuously widened. This is rural patriotic America, not a third world street food show on youtube, which most likely blows us away at this point. This is the poster child for Capitalism run amok and an owner who is not getting it right. Mr Krabs? Treat your best asset right-those youngsters who are doing a damned good job! Is there anyone who cares here? I do enjoy writing and a yelp review here and there, but am introverted and rather not do a big piece such as this. Not even trying to be funny, but feel like I'm doing stand-up. Thing is, I care about people, and our society deeply and am old enough to have known how businesses, restaurants used to be run correctly. This is not that, people! Contrast this Taco Bell tonight to In-N-Out Burger, and wow, is that a picture. The kick ass bros there deserve way better. Know your worth Homies! Peace out my friends at Zombie Taco Bell. I'm rooting for you. All the stars go to the workers. None for the fat cats. You need to earn that sh*t like a great historic general. read more

The food was just thrown together. The taco meat was so cold it was almost frozen. Worst Taco Bell I have ever eaten at!

every time i go to this location i have to go back because items are always missing. tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and went back tonight. as soon as i pulled up to the drive thru window to pay the cashier was shoving the bag out before i could even fully roll down the window and hand her my cash. then she said we don't have pennies or nickels is that cool? i said fine and she handed me my change. before i left the parking lot i checked the bag to make sure everything was there and not only were we missing items again, everything had just been thrown into the bag with no care. half the food wasn't even fully in the wrappers. once we got home and started eating we found out the power bowl we ordered was missing beans and sour cream. super disappointing, i would rather make the drive to fallon for taco bell than go to this location again. read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at this Taco Bell. There was a hair in my food, my sister's food was cold, and we had to wait over an hour for our order. 1. There were no clean tables. I had to ask for someone to clean them. The young girl presented with attitude, but she did say yes sir to her supervisor. If the dining room isn't clean, there isn't much hope for the kitchen. 2. They did not provide napkins. When we asked for them, we were given paper towels. 3. They didn't have any salt. 4. On the kiosk, there was a picture of what I wanted, but there was no way to order it. It isn't something they have anymore. 5. There are no condiments available to the consumer/diner. You have to ask at the counter. Which means you have to wait for someone to notice that you are there. Food doesn't even taste good anymore. read more

Not sure how hard it is to get an order right. When 5 items are ordered through DoorDash and the bag is extremely light, all of the items that are supposed to be delivered are not in the bag. The bag was sealed and the receipt was on the bag, absolutely atrocious. Do better and double check the orders before they go out. It was later during the evening so the excuse of being busy is out of the question. Another issue I have here is it is extremely filthy inside when I go inside. Workers throwing food on the ground without cleaning it, walking all over it and make the place an absolute mess. I am surprised it is still open and hasn't failed health code. Management needs to step up and figure it the fuck out. read more

Worst Taco Bell I've ever been to. 6.99 for a steak burrito that I spit out the window while driving back to work, the steak was some disgusting meat substance. The tacos even suck here. It's also a kiosk only when ordering inside the lobby another guarantee I won't be back. read more

We went for food late at night and there was hella issues. If i could rate this place with 0 stars i definitely would. Probably the worst taco bell in the nation. One night i went there and i saw the employees standing outside where there are 0 cameras drinking beer that they had another employee get from the gas station across the street. Another time when i went in an employee went into the bathroom with gloves on and came out wearing the same gloves and started handling food and they were serving it in the drive-thru. That same night the employees were smoking vapes in the kitchen and the "Assistant Manager" Autumn didn't try to stop them what so ever. Food is always trash and cold along with getting change in the same bag my food is in and the bag is super grease stained and wrinkled like they put in in a fryer and then threw it on the ground and stepped on it a few times. 0 stars. I ordered the new Crispy Chicken burritos, one ranch and one spicy, both burritos contained 1 tiny piece of old, dry and disgusting chicken. The burritos were smaller than a regular soft taco, no exaggeration. How does this location continue to get away with serving horrible old food, and having the poorest customer service imaginable?? This Taco Bell likes to close early before actual advertised close time. For "running out of product" If you're starting to run of product, you can put more product in the rethermalizer 30 mins prior, can put the rice mix with hot water 30 mins prior, can put hot water in the instant beans 20 mins prior. 9/17/2018: "Tay-co Bell!" was the way my Alma, Kansas-born step-father pronounced Taco Bell-lol . . . I just returned from visiting Fallon Naval Air Station located in Fallon, Nevada heading enroute towards Reno and then, heading South to David Walley's Hot Mineral Springs Spa. I just wanted to eat something that would keep my hunger at bay before eating my dinner in about three hours so, I thought eating a couple of tacos would satiate my hunger pangs. I opted driving through the drive-through window for the grab n' go BUT, my plan was foiled! How was your grab n' go plan foiled, eh? WELLLLLL~The two tacos I ordered were obliterated-TRASHED, cracked up to Smithereens to the point of being unrecognizable as tacos: That's how BAD the tacos I ordered looked! I parked my truck, marched forward into Taco Bell, apprehended the Manager-On-Duty, showed her my disintegrated tacos inside the to-go bag . . . Manager quips ordering to her Taco Peeps, "Go get her two Taco Supremes-NOT SMASHED, ALRIGHT????!!! Got it????" The Manager looks at me, gives me the big eye roll and lets out a big sigh . . . "Sorry-still training." "Yeah~I capishe . . . " and mirrored the manager an eye roll, too. read more
