Wing zone was near the wash and fold I used and I really wanted wings, so despite the negative reviews I went to grab dinner. Now I'm Not sure of all the bad reviews, wings were awesome the ranch seasoned fries were a welcomed change, strange there is no where to sit, but they were upfront about waiting in your car and they would bring it out, extra sauces, napkins and the lady behind the counter provided friendly service. Not sure how I received the complete opposite service. Not a Lexington resident so I've never been to a Wing Zone before. Definitely return & recommend. read more

Wing Zone - 8 Boneless Basket Jumbo Flavor Rub Fries - Chicken Wings Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

Customer service was so trash and whoever is taking orders over the phone is sad asf big back heavy breathing grease inhaling mf act like it's so hard to do their job. It's pointless to ask for managers when they're allowing it to happen. Don't recommend this location I just went to wing stop booyah read more

Absolutely 0 stars I called after making an accidental pick up order and asked for my money back and was rudely hung up on called back asked for a manager same guy and he claims he didn't rudely hang up he said " HAVE A NICE DAY" then yelled at me my transaction has been voided. read more

Sadly it's gone very downhill, I used to love ordering their wings for our Super Bowl party. After calling 3 days in a row and needing to make 5-6 calls to even make it through to someone, I was told to call back the next day each time to make an order. I don't even know why I tried so hard to order their wings, maybe just nostalgia. In any case, never again. read more

Good food, must visit, no issue in service, and ambience was great, picked up my food they were informative.

My oldest son had never tried Wing Zone, so we stopped here for lunch. While I had enjoyed their offerings by carryout at various times, it had been quite a few years since I had eaten there, and never by walk-in. The restriction of one person allowed in the store at a time seemed a little draconian since it was just me and my son, but we complied and he waited outside. We settled on the boneless "wings" with tame sauce & fries, and were very pleased with the taste and amount of food for the price. The fries were almost literally a quarter if a potato a piece; huge fries with excellent flavor, and were gone before I could snap a picture. The wing sauce had some kick, even at "tame", but my son enjoyed them and we were very pleased with the overall taste and quality. We waited outside and they brought the order straight to our car in good time, so that was nice & convenient. read more

I order from the guys at WingZone weekly and have yet to be disappointed. I order carry out online and have yet to wait longer than anticipated for my food. Food is consistent and yummy. Staff is always nice and smiling. Appreciate you guys!!! read more

I have been a costumer to wing zone for the past couple years. They recently updated their menu, app, website, and food labels. The app is easy to use(I use to order or look at the menu). Their food is really good for a good price. Their ranch is so good! They also have their own sweet tea. This particular location is my favorite because it is the closest to me and they usually have my order ready. There has only been one time that my order was not ready and it was game day that day so I understand. They have never messed up my order. The only thing that has happened is one time they forgot my extra ranch, but I was able to go back in and pick it up. I usually go pick up my food, but one time I have had them deliver. They usually deliver pretty quick in the food is still hot. They usually provide napkins and utensils. The staff is usually nice. On a slower day there is usually one or two people at the register and one person cooking. If not many people are there, they will have conversations with you. On a busy day they will ring you up quick and they are still friendly. They also have a TV to watch with a bench for the waiting area, but you shouldn't be waiting too long. I like this wing zone location best in Lexington. read more

used to be one of my favorite places now -- their website has gone to garbage and they're useless can't recover email, can't reset password, can't create new account, can do any damn thing through the goddamn web site read more

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCATION!!! For the record this is not my first complaint. I work for a small business with very few parking spots. The Lexington location on Southland drive is a complete jerk. This store manager has no regards for the other neighbors. He allows the delivery truck to lock my parking & store entrance. This jerk told my boss if he had a problem to call the cops. The delivery truck will be there sometimes for 45 mins to 2 hours. This matter requires immediate attention. Lexington is a small town. We are going to make is a point to make sure everyone knows about how this manager treats the neighbors. Way to screw over the small guy! read more

Wing Zone - a delivery truck parked in a parking lot - Chicken Wings Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

Was greeted by super rude staff who were dismissive about the food not being ready. Honestly felt the vibes like one of the male workers wanted to fight me just for existing waiting for the food (when he wasn't giving me backhanded comments out of nowhere). There's not a single place to wait inside so if you're ordering in the colder months expect to wait outside/in your car for whenever the guys just standing around doing nothing decide to do any work. Do NOT recommend. read more

Rudest people I've ever meet. The staff treats people like pond scum. They don't speak and when they do it's just rude and hateful. It is time to restart this location with friendly people. Also the way I've seen them treat outside delivery people(doordash/Uber eat) is beyond ridiculous. I've seen prisoners treated and talked to better than this. this store will never reach its full potential with these employees acting the way they do. Highly recommend going someplace else read more

Wingzone used to be my favorite place to order wings but not so much anymore. Couple years ago when you would get your food delivered your wings were plump, fresh, still warm and your wedges would be crispy. It was delish. But now it's hit and miss. Last time I ordered I had to throw the wings in the fry daddy here at home because they were soggy and white. Not only that they were little bitty sad looking wings. Last two times I've ordered it's been disappointing. Not sure what's up with wing zone but I wish they would figure it out. read more

WHAT A DIFFERENCE ONE EMPLOYEE CAN MAKKE IN AN ENTIRE STORE... i Called a couple different days since ordering from Jordan and males have answered the phone and all seemed rude when i asked for her and they said she wasn't working, so I didn't order. Tried again several days ago and was also told she wasn't working by a guy named P.J. He seemed OK, so I placed a pretty large order ($40+) with specific instructions for wings to be heavily sauced or "wet" as Jordan said they call it. he said he noted that on the ticket. When I arrived, the guy at the counter was surely not him as he seemed very rude and like he didn't want to be there. They don't put names on your ticket, so I don't know who he is. I told him I would like to see the order before I paid and he seemed a bit perturbed by this. When it came out and I opened it, the wings were very dry and definitely not heavily sauced. I asked if I could get more buffalo sauce and he said yes and then proceeded to start ringing in additional charges for it. I told him I didn't want the sauce if I had to pay for it and he said he took it off, but my "non-itemized" receipt he gave me was several dollars higher than PJ quoted on the phone, even though he didn't give me the sauce. Since we had been waiting for 25 minutes and I had others sharing this, I paid and left. Summary: I hadn't been there in a few years because of their past rude employees and dry wings... Had ONE great experience when assisted by Jordan... And NOW back to the same old tired story. When customer service sucks, there are a ton of other places to spend your money. I would go elsewhere. read more

Me & my coworkers ordered $60 worth of food tonight. I got 1 boneless wing basket & 1/2 gallon of sweet tea. That 1 order cost $24. We gave generous nice tip to delivery driver. They forgot my sweet tea. I called to let them know & to see if they could bring it back. They refused & wouldn't even refund the $4 for it! The guy that answered the phone could've cared less.. I've spent a lot of money at this business. I will not be ordering from here ever again! If they can't treat their loyal customers better than this then no thanks! read more

If you are looking for a spot to get your chicken wings (and burgers too) fix on in Lexington this is the place to go. The menu has a great deal of sauce varieties. Mild, Medium, and Nuclear, for starters, then moving to Parmesan Garlic, Thai, and Lemon Pepper, to name a few. Turns out if you order lots you can even mix and match these varieties. They deliver in a limited area. read more

most disturbing and disgusting store i have walked in! two older gentleman were at counter and did not even acknowledging me and my baby coming in. I asked to place an order they seem perturbed, and then they ask me and my baby to leave the lobby because the owner did not want anyone in the lobby while waiting for their food it was 95° outside, what a waste of my time and what a disgrace, as well as the inconsiderate way they treated me read more

If you want great food and quick delivery this is the place. I have been obsessed with the honey q boneless wings and Mac n cheese bites they are so yummy. Fastest way to place your order is online and it says all 40 minutes to an hour but they have always gotten to me in about 30mins. They also offer contactless delivery meaning they just ring the doorbell and leave it on the porch. read more

I ordered the nuclear hanbenero boneless wings because I thought hey, they can't be that spicy? Well wing zone delivered, and they hurt at least five times as bad coming out as they did going in. Definitely got my money's worth on that one. 10/10 would destroy the toilet at work again read more

Everything was cold &/or soggy. Wings are basically grisley & inedible. Sandwich toppings were obviously prev frozen and water-logged in the baggies. When I called to speak with someone avoid the quality of the wings (and that was my original complaint, because I don't expect the highest quality out of wingzone these days, and I'm only disappointed by over refridgerated lettuce and tomato, and soggy potato wedges is probably common -but I do expect not to gag when biting into a "well done" cooked chicken wing) the person who identified himself as the manager and was incredibly rude throughout his interaction with me. I wanted a refund for the Wings (as I told him,the last time I ordered the wings were also subpar & I felt I should actually call this time and get a refund), Tyler told met not only that he COULD NOT but that he WOULD NOT because I'd received my food. That's when I told him just how problematicthe the quality of my order was in it's entirety, & offered to bag it back up. Tyler become even more rude, telling me he had to put other calls on hold. He even attempted to insult my intelligence when I asked for his name, I repeated it back to him as I wrote it down, and he snarked "Yes ma'am, Do you need me to SPELL it for you?" in a louder, more condescending tone. He said he could leave my name and phone number for the owner, that's all he could do, & refused to tell me ther owner's name. I asked again, & he told me Mike Hackett is the owner. I've ordered fairly regularly from this location since moving here in 2015, I order less often these days because the overall quality has gone down a bit. I called to complain today because the last few orders have had more than just normal inconveniences & disappointments. But the way I was treated by Tyler is unacceptable. read more

Me and my bf love this place. Every Saturday we get wings and moz sticks here and they never disappoint!

I hate to post another negative review, but my experience with wing zone was unacceptable. I witnessed a horrifying display of poor food safety. While waiting for my order I looked towards the back of the store and saw an employee eating with prep gloves on. He was over the food eating and then proceeded to wipe his nose WITH THE GLOVE. Then he proceeded to return to work.. then blew His nose over while in the prep space. Never will I return. As I sit here I watched another employee use his bare hands to handle food. Horrible. read more

Stopped by for wings after drinks with friends at a nearby bar. Drunk & hungry, wings were the obvious choice. Unfortunately, we were given the wrong order (and didn't discover it until we got home), but worse than that, the wings were sad dried-up little things. Not good. Won't return. read more

5 of us placed a total order of $62 from the Southland location. We were told it would be 30-40 minutes for our food. Over an hour went by and still no food. We called to ask about the status of our order, and as we were trying to find the receipt with the order number, we were spoken to very rudely and hung up on. We called back again and our order arrived.. minus 16 wings. How do you forget 16 wings? Then we were told it would be another 45 minutes to correct our order and bring the wings to us. To top it all off, 3 out of 5 of us ended up not feeling well later that night. Over 2 hours waiting for food that made us sick. That was our first order with Wing Zone and it will be our last. I'm normally a very forgiving person, but this was one of the worst food service experiences I've ever had. read more

First off..... great wings!!! Great flavors!!! I work 3rd shift and we order from here quite often. However, I'm not able to leave to pick up, so we have to have it delivered. Well tonight Wing Zone on southland dr decided to close early...... not a good way to do business. You have advised set hours an I called within those set hours and got a voicemail saying to call back during business hours. I called back and no one picked up then I got the fax machine. Very disappointed! read more

I love this place. My boyfriend and I ordered a Buddy Combo, I believe it was called. The wings were amazing, and smelled so great that we busted them open in the car. We had originally planned to go somewhere else entirely, but ran into Wing Zone when plan A didn't work out. Brandon, the manager, was relatable and a lot of fun. I'm really glad such a great wing place is so close to us! read more

They have the best chicken wings ever. I would have given this place 5 stars, but had written areas that needed work.

Used online ordering and it is a little confusing and I am a software consultant. Chose 10 wing basket and ordered 2 flavors, I thought but after only receiving a single flavor I realized you need to order 5 for each. Maybe my fault but still not obvious. I also added an order of fried pickles at the end, which did not make the order somehow. Also no link from the local store menu to order online option. My food was just acceptable, I have fixed better at home, Thai chili original wings. Wife had Cool Ranch boneless and they were not eatable. Merely chicken nuggets with a heaping of dry ranch powder that was 80% salt. Terrible. Also when I arrived to pickup I asked about the pickles and they said I did not include in the order. They offered to make some for me (nice) but I could not wait and then 2 of them said they are not any good anyway. Really? How do you mess fried pickles up. Dredge and fry? So I was really worried about the wings. Probably not go again but I might give them a chance. Also onion rings obviously frozen. read more

So I was really looking forward to getting some food while having a looooong day of work, so, what did I do? Of course I ordered from my favorite wing joint in town, Wingzone on southland dr. I go back to working, and after an hour and a half, I start to wonder if they're ever going to show up... so, I call the store. APPARENTLY, they don't deliver to my work, but that's not why I'm upset, I'm angry because I got no notification, no call, no email, no text that my order had been cancelled. I don't care that they don't deliver to me, that's not the problem, it's the fact that I wasted THE ONLY BREAK I HAVE IN MY 10 HOUR WORKDAY, WAITING ON SOMETHING THAT WAS NEVER GOING TO COME. Now I have no more break, and no food. THANK YOU SO MUCH WINGZONE, you just lost a loyal, long-time customer. read more

So I'm highly upset I only ordered from this place like twice maybe ! So yesterday I call 08/07/2022 and I talked to the night shift manager he handled the situation NICELY and supposedly gave me my credit on that account. So I call back today 08/08/2022 to redeem my messed up order and was told I'm banned... I ask the lady how was I banned and she said the managers both said i was banned ... it just doesn't make sense ! Besides all these managers at this store is just rude coming from being a STORE MANAGER myself I would never treat any of my customers or future customers like they talked and treated me. The crazy thing is they come right up to my job and always nice but that could be the non managers not sure but not to mention that I am dollar general right across the street been there for almost 3 years now but they won't have to worry about me anymore I am fully upset with this company and wish they can have a better attitudes. Also whoever above them have a meeting with your managers and tell them fix what needs fixing business to business, thank you sincerely the asst store manager at dollar general on southland drive. read more

I've ordered from WZ on a few occasions via their website. On July 30th I placed a $40 order online for a small group of friends. I live 3 miles from their store. After 1.5hrs and no food I call the local store. They tell me its on the vehicle out for deliver. 1hr 45min later still no delivery. I call the CORPORATE office and they start taking a _survey_ and follow up with 'im sorry you had a bad experience'. At this point theyve stolen $40 from me and never delivered food and the corporate office doesnt give a shit about this. Finally after 2hrs the food arrives with no believable excuse about being backed up in the kitchen. The following monday I call the corporate office and raise hell and to this day they have STILL NOT reimbursed me or sent me any make-up coupons. SCREW these jerks. Take your business elsewhere! read more

Just picked up take out wings, had to wait in parking lot 5 minutes while I waited on employees to finish a food or wet paper towel fight, I couldn't tell but I didn't want to interrupt, so I stood in front of front door and waited, also order was completely wrong after I asked specifically to double check it, girl didn't care and wasn't competent at the register, didn't even want to deal with going back, will not order again read more
