I have been a costumer to wing zone for the past couple years. They recently updated their menu, app, website, and food labels. The app is easy to use(I use to order or look at the menu). Their food is really good for a good price. Their ranch is so good! They also have their own sweet tea. This particular location is my favorite because it is the closest to me and they usually have my order ready. There has only been one time that my order was not ready and it was game day that day so I understand. They have never messed up my order. The only thing that has happened is one time they forgot my extra ranch, but I was able to go back in and pick it up. I usually go pick up my food, but one time I have had them deliver. They usually deliver pretty quick in the food is still hot. They usually provide napkins and utensils. The staff is usually nice. On a slower day there is usually one or two people at the register and one person cooking. If not many people are there, they will have conversations with you. On a busy day they will ring you up quick and they are still friendly. They also have a TV to watch with a bench for the waiting area, but you shouldn't be waiting too long. Wing zone was near the wash and fold I used and I really wanted wings, so despite the negative reviews I went to grab dinner. Now I'm Not sure of all the bad reviews, wings were awesome the ranch seasoned fries were a welcomed change, strange there is no where to sit, but they were upfront about waiting in your car and they would bring it out, extra sauces, napkins and the lady behind the counter provided friendly service. Not sure how I received the complete opposite service. Not a Lexington resident so I've never been to a Wing Zone before. Definitely return & recommend. read more

My oldest son had never tried Wing Zone, so we stopped here for lunch. While I had enjoyed their offerings by carryout at various times, it had been quite a few years since I had eaten there, and never by walk-in. The restriction of one person allowed in the store at a time seemed a little draconian since it was just me and my son, but we complied and he waited outside. We settled on the boneless "wings" with tame sauce & fries, and were very pleased with the taste and amount of food for the price. The fries were almost literally a quarter if a potato a piece; huge fries with excellent flavor, and were gone before I could snap a picture. The wing sauce had some kick, even at "tame", but my son enjoyed them and we were very pleased with the overall taste and quality. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS LOCATION!!! For the record this is not my first complaint. I work for a small business with very few parking spots. The Lexington location on Southland drive is a complete jerk. This store manager has no regards for the other neighbors. He allows the delivery truck to lock my parking & store entrance. This jerk told my boss if he had a problem to call the cops. The delivery truck will be there sometimes for 45 mins to 2 hours. This matter requires immediate attention. Lexington is a small town. Wingzone used to be my favorite place to order wings but not so much anymore. Couple years ago when you would get your food delivered your wings were plump, fresh, still warm and your wedges would be crispy. It was delish. But now it's hit and miss. Last time I ordered I had to throw the wings in the fry daddy here at home because they were soggy and white. Not only that they were little bitty sad looking wings. WHAT A DIFFERENCE ONE EMPLOYEE CAN MAKKE IN AN ENTIRE STORE... i Called a couple different days since ordering from Jordan and males have answered the phone and all seemed rude when i asked for her and they said she wasn't working, so I didn't order. Tried again several days ago and was also told she wasn't working by a guy named P.J. He seemed OK, so I placed a pretty large order ($40+) with specific instructions for wings to be heavily sauced or "wet" as Jordan said they call it. he said he noted that on the ticket. When I arrived, the guy at the counter was surely not him as he seemed very rude and like he didn't want to be there. They don't put names on your ticket, so I don't know who he is. I told him I would like to see the order before I paid and he seemed a bit perturbed by this. When it came out and I opened it, the wings were very dry and definitely not heavily sauced. I asked if I could get more buffalo sauce and he said yes and then proceeded to start ringing in additional charges for it. I told him I didn't want the sauce if I had to pay for it and he said he took it off, but my "non-itemized" receipt he gave me was several dollars higher than PJ quoted on the phone, even though he didn't give me the sauce. Since we had been waiting for 25 minutes and I had others sharing this, I paid and left. Summary: I hadn't been there in a few years because of their past rude employees and dry wings... Had ONE great experience when assisted by Jordan... And NOW back to the same old tired story. When customer service sucks, there are a ton of other places to spend your money. Me & my coworkers ordered $60 worth of food tonight. I got 1 boneless wing basket & 1/2 gallon of sweet tea. That 1 order cost $24. We gave generous nice tip to delivery driver. Everything was cold &/or soggy. Wings are basically grisley & inedible. Sandwich toppings were obviously prev frozen and water-logged in the baggies. When I called to speak with someone avoid the quality of the wings (and that was my original complaint, because I don't expect the highest quality out of wingzone these days, and I'm only disappointed by over refridgerated lettuce and tomato, and soggy potato wedges is probably common -but I do expect not to gag when biting into a "well done" cooked chicken wing) the person who identified himself as the manager and was incredibly rude throughout his interaction with me. I wanted a refund for the Wings (as I told him,the last time I ordered the wings were also subpar & I felt I should actually call this time and get a refund), Tyler told met not only that he COULD NOT but that he WOULD NOT because I'd received my food. That's when I told him just how problematicthe the quality of my order was in it's entirety, & offered to bag it back up. Tyler become even more rude, telling me he had to put other calls on hold. I hate to post another negative review, but my experience with wing zone was unacceptable. I witnessed a horrifying display of poor food safety. While waiting for my order I looked towards the back of the store and saw an employee eating with prep gloves on. He was over the food eating and then proceeded to wipe his nose WITH THE GLOVE. Then he proceeded to return to work.. then blew His nose over while in the prep space. Never will I return. As I sit here I watched another employee use his bare hands to handle food. We called to ask about the status of our order, and as we were trying to find the receipt with the order number, we were spoken to very rudely and hung up on. We called back again and our order arrived.. minus 16 wings. How do you forget 16 wings? Then we were told it would be another 45 minutes to correct our order and bring the wings to us. To top it all off, 3 out of 5 of us ended up not feeling well later that night. Over 2 hours waiting for food that made us sick. That was our first order with Wing Zone and it will be our last. I love this place. My boyfriend and I ordered a Buddy Combo, I believe it was called. The wings were amazing, and smelled so great that we busted them open in the car. We had originally planned to go somewhere else entirely, but ran into Wing Zone when plan A didn't work out. Brandon, the manager, was relatable and a lot of fun. Used online ordering and it is a little confusing and I am a software consultant. Chose 10 wing basket and ordered 2 flavors, I thought but after only receiving a single flavor I realized you need to order 5 for each. Maybe my fault but still not obvious. I also added an order of fried pickles at the end, which did not make the order somehow. Also no link from the local store menu to order online option. My food was just acceptable, I have fixed better at home, Thai chili original wings. Wife had Cool Ranch boneless and they were not eatable. Merely chicken nuggets with a heaping of dry ranch powder that was 80% salt. Terrible. Also when I arrived to pickup I asked about the pickles and they said I did not include in the order. They offered to make some for me (nice) but I could not wait and then 2 of them said they are not any good anyway. Really? How do you mess fried pickles up. Dredge and fry? I've ordered from WZ on a few occasions via their website. On July 30th I placed a $40 order online for a small group of friends. I live 3 miles from their store. After 1.5hrs and no food I call the local store. They tell me its on the vehicle out for deliver. 1hr 45min later still no delivery. I call the CORPORATE office and they start taking a _survey_ and follow up with 'im sorry you had a bad experience'. At this point theyve stolen $40 from me and never delivered food and the corporate office doesnt give a shit about this. Finally after 2hrs the food arrives with no believable excuse about being backed up in the kitchen. The following monday I call the corporate office and raise hell and to this day they have STILL NOT reimbursed me or sent me any make-up coupons. SCREW these jerks.
