Now I'm Not sure of all the bad reviews, wings were awesome the ranch seasoned fries were a welcomed change, strange there is no where to sit, but they were upfront about waiting in your car and they would bring it out, extra sauces, napkins and the lady behind the counter provided friendly service. My oldest son had never tried Wing Zone, so we stopped here for lunch. While I had enjoyed their offerings by carryout at various times, it had been quite a few years since I had eaten there, and never by walk-in. The restriction of one person allowed in the store at a time seemed a little draconian since it was just me and my son, but we complied and he waited outside. We settled on the boneless "wings" with tame sauce & fries, and were very pleased with the taste and amount of food for the price. The fries were almost literally a quarter if a potato a piece; huge fries with excellent flavor, and were gone before I could snap a picture. The wing sauce had some kick, even at "tame", but my son enjoyed them and we were very pleased with the overall taste and quality. I have been a costumer to wing zone for the past couple years. They recently updated their menu, app, website, and food labels. The app is easy to use(I use to order or look at the menu). Their food is really good for a good price. Their ranch is so good! They also have their own sweet tea. This particular location is my favorite because it is the closest to me and they usually have my order ready. There has only been one time that my order was not ready and it was game day that day so I understand. They have never messed up my order. The only thing that has happened is one time they forgot my extra ranch, but I was able to go back in and pick it up. I usually go pick up my food, but one time I have had them deliver. They usually deliver pretty quick in the food is still hot. They usually provide napkins and utensils. The staff is usually nice. On a slower day there is usually one or two people at the register and one person cooking. If not many people are there, they will have conversations with you. On a busy day they will ring you up quick and they are still friendly. They also have a TV to watch with a bench for the waiting area, but you shouldn't be waiting too long. I like this wing zone location best in Lexington. read more

This store manager has no regards for the other neighbors. He allows the delivery truck to lock my parking & store entrance. This jerk told my boss if he had a problem to call the cops. The delivery truck will be there sometimes for 45 mins to 2 hours. This matter requires immediate attention. Lexington is a small town. Wingzone used to be my favorite place to order wings but not so much anymore. Couple years ago when you would get your food delivered your wings were plump, fresh, still warm and your wedges would be crispy. It was delish. But now it's hit and miss. Last time I ordered I had to throw the wings in the fry daddy here at home because they were soggy and white. Not only that they were little bitty sad looking wings. WHAT A DIFFERENCE ONE EMPLOYEE CAN MAKKE IN AN ENTIRE STORE... i Called a couple different days since ordering from Jordan and males have answered the phone and all seemed rude when i asked for her and they said she wasn't working, so I didn't order. Tried again several days ago and was also told she wasn't working by a guy named P.J. He seemed OK, so I placed a pretty large order ($40+) with specific instructions for wings to be heavily sauced or "wet" as Jordan said they call it. he said he noted that on the ticket. When I arrived, the guy at the counter was surely not him as he seemed very rude and like he didn't want to be there. They don't put names on your ticket, so I don't know who he is. I told him I would like to see the order before I paid and he seemed a bit perturbed by this. When it came out and I opened it, the wings were very dry and definitely not heavily sauced. I asked if I could get more buffalo sauce and he said yes and then proceeded to start ringing in additional charges for it. I told him I didn't want the sauce if I had to pay for it and he said he took it off, but my "non-itemized" receipt he gave me was several dollars higher than PJ quoted on the phone, even though he didn't give me the sauce. Since we had been waiting for 25 minutes and I had others sharing this, I paid and left. Summary: I hadn't been there in a few years because of their past rude employees and dry wings... Everything was cold &/or soggy. Wings are basically grisley & inedible. Sandwich toppings were obviously prev frozen and water-logged in the baggies. While waiting for my order I looked towards the back of the store and saw an employee eating with prep gloves on. He was over the food eating and then proceeded to wipe his nose WITH THE GLOVE. Then he proceeded to return to work.. then blew His nose over while in the prep space. Never will I return. As I sit here I watched another employee use his bare hands to handle food. Chose 10 wing basket and ordered 2 flavors, I thought but after only receiving a single flavor I realized you need to order 5 for each. Maybe my fault but still not obvious. My food was just acceptable, I have fixed better at home, Thai chili original wings. Wife had Cool Ranch boneless and they were not eatable. I've ordered from WZ on a few occasions via their website. On July 30th I placed a $40 order online for a small group of friends. I live 3 miles from their store. After 1.5hrs and no food I call the local store. They tell me its on the vehicle out for deliver. 1hr 45min later still no delivery. I call the CORPORATE office and they start taking a _survey_ and follow up with 'im sorry you had a bad experience'. At this point theyve stolen $40 from me and never delivered food and the corporate office doesnt give a shit about this. Finally after 2hrs the food arrives with no believable excuse about being backed up in the kitchen. The following monday I call the corporate office and raise hell and to this day they have STILL NOT reimbursed me or sent me any make-up coupons. SCREW these jerks.
