Today I visited this store with a couple girlfriends and the service and staff were friendly and went above and beyond to take care of us and our needs. 2 of us got the 2pc fish dinner and the other got a chicken dinner . Everything was hot and fresh and tasted so good . There were lots of customers in the restaurant and everyone seemed to be happy and have good experiences. I will definitely be returning in the future. I have ordered DoorDash from here in the past but today was the best by far . read more

Awesome food and service. We stopped in while attending the Lexington Comicon and thought we'd give it a try. We had 2x #12 3chix n 2fish. The chicken was a little smaller, more like thin chicken strips. The food was cooked fresh and had a really good flavor, way better than what we have back home in FL. My wife and I stopped in to LJS in Paris, Ky on a Monday evening for some fish. We were greeted immediately by a polite young man at the counter. Our order was received promptly and the food came out before we were seated. The booths and floor were clean and the food fresh and good. However, I needed to use the restroom and the men's room wasn't good. The urinal had been completely removed so everyone had been peeing in the general direction of the toilet and not so accurately. The 1950 hand drier was corroded and ineffective. I returned to where my wife was sitting and noticed the window sills had leaked and cobwebs in the window corners. The 3 star rating is for management/ owners not employees or food. Re-invest a little profit, maintain your restaurant and for heavens sake install a urinal so no one sits where another guy peed!! read more

I hadn't been to LJS in 20 years. But when locations started dropping like flies, I made the trip all the way to Paris to eat at one of the last remaining locations in my area. And it was good. Ordered fish, chicken, fries, and hush puppies. It was greasy of course, but that's what makes it so good. We ordered at the drive thru and they were so quick to serve our food. We went in for Pirate Day and got a FREE fish's and fries and fries Twinkie for dressing and talking like a pirate. Then they gave my daughter a FREE drink. Then, my daughter played a game and got Free hush puppies. The , they asked her if she wanted to pick something out of the treasure box. We got our food and drinks and it was hot and fresh. Just paid a visit there and was not impressed at all. The place was unclean and paid way more than I should have for what I received. I wanted fish, and Georgetown does not have a fish chain after the Long John Silvers shut down a couple of years ago. Employees do not wash their hands, foods either cold, old or it's fresh and service is terrible I have never in my life seen employees smoke a cigarette and reach into their pants and scratch their balls until I waited on my food they never once washed their hands. read more
