The food was cold and tough. The service was a complete joke and the TVs were too loud for even chatting. The sports was roo loud. Our waitress kept ignoring us for a much older gentleman who kept touching her (not sure what was goin on there). We got Styrofoam cups and plastic forks and knives. Chayla, my server and bartender, was the epitome of an attentive hostess. While busy at a lunch rush she kept up with orders, patron names, and running jokes along the bar. I expected the servers to be in short kilts and halter tops like the advertisements, but they were literally dressed in thong underwear and bras. Tilted kilt pub & eatery located in Lexington Kentucky. I was visiting from Lousiville and decided to stop here for lunch. We had a louisville location but I couldn't remember much about it so decided to give it a try. Tilted kilt is a sport bar/pub in the same vein as a hooters and/or twin peaks. The interior for this place is massive. It is the home of popular sports radio station KSR. So the ample space probably makes that convenient. On my lunch trip with some co workers the place was very empty. Our service was pretty solid and our food came out quickly. One personally ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger. It was pretty basic tasting. Nothing about it stood out at all. It wasn't bad but it was just ok. Nothing that would have me clamoring to come back. Overall the setup and space here is very nice. Huge place and probably a fun place to take In a ball game or fight. The lack of crowd during lunch hours makes me curious about the rest of the menu maybe being just ok too. read more

This is a new chain that has rolled into campus life. I heard it described as Hooters with plaid but it is way more than that. I happened to be downtown on Sunday night when things are quite and decided to give it a whirl....I was not disappointing. Great on tap beer selections! Our server was not a beer drinker and didn't have a clue on how to suggest a beer, but it didn't matter. There were so many great options! No tastes were offered but I know my beers - Dogfish Head American Beauty is a good choice. I will go back to some more options. We had the Appetizer Sampler and the Irish Nachos to get an overall taste. It was a good choice. The beer cheese sauce is has a rich cheddar flavor but it not overly spicy. The Irish Nacho "chips" are perfected sliced and crispy, the beef on that dish has a great flavor and texture. The tots were great and were a perfect tot tasting potato skin! The pickles were the least tasty thing of the evening, but were interesting because they are chopped up pieces of dill pickle spear. My friend and i went for a quick bite to eat. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.we enjoyed all the TV screens they have and the wide variety of different sports going on . We each ordered a Guinness and had the wings with fries . It was pretty good so no complaints there . But we had someone from the kitchen come out and start talking to us . Which we thought was odd because he didn't even look like he fit in with the vibe of the restaurant. He was dressed in I guess what's called chef blacks and told us he was the lead cook. We thought he was too old and pedo creepy to be working there . My friend later said that the cook made him uncomfortable and it was awkward with him hovering over us. Ok the tilted kilt is along the lines of a local Hooters but can be a bit more over the top. The food is decent and the beer selection is great. They do have so many at times they may be out of something just because of supply chain issues. (Welcome to the post COVID world). The servers all are great Savanha being the one who has waited on me both times my next door neighbour and myself have been. She's friendly and if I was 30 yrs younger.... She still wouldn't go out with me. Honestly lovely woman with a fun attitude. Never let our beers see empty. Their appetizers are really good and it's mostly good pub food. Just good food at a decent price. The atmosphere is great for frat guys and it's a breastaurant in the truest sense of the word. I'd recommend it for a get together with buddies or maybe a birthday. If your wife or girlfriend is ok with Hooters she might be ok here too. Just a warning. Oh and they do theme nights so it can be pretty sexy. Be warned is all I'm saying. read more

Updated Review: my husband and I usually come here to watch the Colts game because we can't get it at home. As you can see in my previous review they have tons of TV's and they will put it on any specific game you're looking for. The reason for my updated review and dropping it down to 3 stars from 5 is that our waitress was a little more concerned with sitting on the pool table and socializing with an older gentleman and another guy. This went on for a good 45 minutes. My husbands beer glass was empty for quite sometime and she was not focused on what she was hired to do. I finally went to the bar and asked for a beer for my husband because our waitress was too busy talking. She came back by and I ordered another pitcher of beer and poof she was gone again talking to the same said men. I'm not going to name blast her on here but we will definitely make sure she is not our waitress the next time we go in. I'll start off by saying that I came here during Lexington Burger Week. Although I didn't love the featured burger, nothing else that I had was bad. Everything (except that darn burger) was phenomenal. Yes, the waitresses were dressed in kilts and bras and none are ugly. It's summer. I see some people wearing less clothing in other public places. Don't be mad! They actually do pub food better than Hooter's and no one has ever hated on Hooters' wings. They have two Happy Hour sessions. I was there at some point between the early Happy Hour, 2-6pm. The $5 appetizers can't be beat anywhere else in Lexington. I thought for sure that they would be small at that price, so I ordered three. Nope. They were far from small. The mozzarella cheese sticks came in an order of eight and included a marinara sauce. I wasn't fan of the parmesan flakes on the top, so next time I'll request that to be left off. The loaded tots were literally the best that I've ever had. They use beer cheese to load them, in addition to bacon, sour cream, and chives. The Frickles were excellent too, but if you know me, you know that I pickles are my favorite veggie. I had to get my veggies in, you know... pickles and tots. Service was fantastic! Our glasses never got less than half full. Lee, who I think was a manager, even though I noticed him wiping down a table at some point, came around at some point and stopped to chat. Ok, maybe I stopped him to interrogate him about the burger. Sometimes I just can't help myself. He was a good sport and explained that they are breaded, just for taste and when they are deep fried, the breading falls off. So, it's not like a chuck wagon burger or a country fried steak. Ok, I can't knock them there... it just wasn't my thing. Those appetizers though!!! If you're going to burger week to try new places, do yourself a favor and order more than just the burger. One more side note... I hate to be charged extra for ranch. $.50 isn't too bad, but it was a pretty small serving to be charged for. I'm still not mad at 'hem. read more

Great atmosphere, the husband certainly didn't mind, lol We stopped in for some food and drink on one of our recent evening motorcycle rides. Was a bit later and there were very few customers, a nice quiet evening. Lots of sports on TV. Our server, Adrianna (sp?) was great. She was knowledgeable about the menu, funny and helpful. Husband ordered the pepperoni flatbread and I ordered 6 wings (those were great) and a blackened chicken avocado sandwich. The chicken sandwich was good, but not worth $13. I had the Boston Wicked _____ Burger. It was fine, kind of dry, though reasonably cooked for rare. The sauce was ok, nothing special. The fries were over salted. My waitress was really nice. Quick date night with hubby, was in the area and saw this place and wanted to try it out. First impression, it reminded me of Hooters. Space used to be a club among other things, so the space is huge. We appreciated the pool tables and took advantage after we ordered our food. Wait for food was long because of a huge party. Very disappointed in my club sandwich. Tater tots were basic. Not enough meat on my club, almost as thin as a grilled cheese. My non-alcoholic drink was wayyy over priced and mediocre. I generally love tilted kilt overall. The servers are generally very pleasant. The food is usually really good and very affordable for pub fare. The service however can be hit or miss. Service is often relaxed and comes around slowly. I get it most people that come to a pub are not in a hurry. So if you are might try another place. If you're a UK FAN, do not come here!!! Food was cold for our whole party and the food was mediocre at best. Our waiter took about an hour to come back to our table so service was terrible, tvs didn't have audio for the UK game either. Also half the tvs were broken in the top corners of the screens and our party ordered miller lites that tasted flat. Dont get me wrong the girls were nice but had terrible service overall. Ordered delivery through grubhub. Ordered scotch eggs (soft boiled eggs wrapped in sweet and spicy sausage, parmeson breaded and fried). They looked ok but when I picked one up that was partly out of the breading and there were egg shells on my eggs and in the breading. So much different from the last time I rated The Kilt. I was greeted right away and sat. I was seated Grace. Grace would appear to be everything a server is meant to be. She was attentive, upbeat, and fun. She got my drinks right away. After the drinks were placed she took my order. We had a short fun conversation, then she got to work. It was near shift change so I understand she had work to do other than serve me. I was her only table as well. Grace stopped by to check on me several times and moved on, she never camped out at the table, she took care of me and moved on. My food came quickly, she made sure I had everything I needed. Grace is the example of how things should be when dining. As I stated it was shift change, the on coming shift came in with purpose and ready to work, very different from the expected norm. The other servers were working to get their work done before shift change. It was refreshing to see. The bartender was busy and working the whole time I was there. This is the experience everyone should have when going to the Kilt. The ONLY drawback was my food came so quick that I didn't have more time with Grace. She truly was amazing. read more
