Comfortable venue with cozy dimly lit atmosphere and noise level was mild to moderate as lunch crowd picked up. Several large TV screens visible throughout the bar and restaurant areas. I ordered a Dagwood sandwich (without the fries listed in the menu description) as well as a side of blue cheese slaw. Sandwich had thinly sliced pastrami and was delicious. Slaw was fresh, creamy, and tasty. Friends ordered the Blue Cat (chicken sandwich with blue cheese), burgers, salads, wraps, and eggplant Parmesan sandwich. Everyone was complimentary of their items. Would return to dine again when in the area and can recommend based on good value for quality and quantity of menu items during our visit.

We started with the Wisconsin cheese curds, and they were delicious--definitely one of the better appetizers on the menu and something I'd order again. For our entrees, we had the steak quesadilla and the buffalo chicken tacos. The steak quesadilla wasn't anything fancy, but it had great flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The buffalo chicken tacos were also tasty, although I wish there had been an option to order them with grilled chicken instead of fried. The staff is always friendly, and we've consistently had good service every time we've visited. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with good food, cold drinks, and a fun atmosphere for dinner or game day, Banners is definitely worth checking out.

We asked to speak with a manager about the experience, he could not have cared less - zero apologies, no accountability, didn't offer solutions or anything. The burger buns tasted stale, the chicken tenders were overcooked to the point of being inedible (we sent them back with no offer of replacement). Just an overall sad, disappointing experience. I actually felt bad for our sever, who said it was his second shift ever - they set him up for failure. We didn't get one refill, waited over 45 min for appetizer and over an hour and 15 min for our mains - will not be back...the management is pathetic and the owners should be ashamed of themselves.

I have always enjoyed their quality and consistency and diversified menus. For many years before the pandemic hit, they were such a great value. Oh yeah the fried pepper rings appetizer was perfect (thin coating and a lot of them). Luckily, I had no issues finding parking during my visit. Reservations are available online, but by the time I decided to book, it was too late. Our server, Francesca, was wonderful and gave us some great drink recommendations. We ordered a few drinks and settled in to enjoy the experience. Even reading through the menu was fun--they have some unique rules that definitely add to the speakeasy atmosphere. The only downside was that the party seated next to us was extremely loud, which happened to go against one of the rules. Unfortunately, their volume didn't seem to be addressed.
