A massive bar with selections too numerous to list here. The staff was outgoing and helpful. You got your money's worth and then some with the entrees and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. Big screens throughout the restaurant featuring sports events and the jukebox was playing rock and roll classics. The crowd was a nice mix of young and old. This would be a great place to catch a Kentucky game with your friends. I had the Firehouse Club sandwich with fries and I was blown away. My wife had cheese quesadillas and was equally impressed. We started with the Wisconsin cheese curds, and they were delicious--definitely one of the better appetizers on the menu and something I'd order again. For our entrees, we had the steak quesadilla and the buffalo chicken tacos. The steak quesadilla wasn't anything fancy, but it had great flavor, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The buffalo chicken tacos were also tasty, although I wish there had been an option to order them with grilled chicken instead of fried. The staff is always friendly, and we've consistently had good service every time we've visited. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with good food, cold drinks, and a fun atmosphere for dinner or game day, Banners is definitely worth checking out.

One of the people in our group called ahead and got seating set up for us ahead of time. There was some mixup with the order tickets and several people ended up with their appetizers before they got their drinks. I didn't get my drink until a lot of people had some of their food. But I knew I was just cranky from being out in the sun and needed to give them a little grace given the large group. This is a mom and pop place, which I will always favor over big jeans. Definitely family friendly. I opted for the brisket platter which came with two sides. My choices were a potato salad and onion rings. The brisket was a teeny bit dry but still quite good. Barbecue sauce is a little on the spicier side (which I appreciate) so just a heads up for those out there they don't like a lot of spice. The onion rings were perfect! And the potato salad was fabulous! They make it in house! I'm super picky on potato salad and this is probably one of my favorites I've had at a restaurant. Sorry I didn't get any pictures as I was quite exhausted and just hungry/thirsty. Lol. I would for sure return.
