Smells like pool water when you walk in. The amount of dust hanging in the ceiling is absolutely disgusting. It wasn't a problem getting drinks but food took over an hour to get to us with it not being very busy. The waitress forgot several drinks and orders. The burger wasn't terrible but came out barely warm instead of hot along with all the other food we got. Drinks a fairly strong that's a plus. Overall fairly disappointing but i would say it's worth trying and for close to the Stadium. read more

I give this 3 stars but not for the food. The bartender was very knowledgeable. I had tacos at the bar because The Local Taco next door didn't have my vibe. The chicken was the better of the two. I stopped in for lunch and had a seat at the bar. It took a little bit of time for anyone to come over to me, but once they did, they were super attentive. Being from out of town, I asked if they had any local beers available. I was happy that there were two on draft to choose from, and I went with a blonde ale, Cougar Bait, which I definitely recommend! Their menu was short and sweet, with a few items that caught my attention. I settled on the buffalo chicken quesadilla, which was served with chips and salsa. My food came out very quickly and was hot and delicious. If you like spicy food, you would like this quesadilla! My favorite part about Tin Roof was the decor at atmosphere... it's super laid back with graffiti and bar signs on the walls and a colorful bar and seating. There were also picnic tables outside for outdoor seating. I bet this would be a great hang out spot for a hot summer day! However, when I was there it was colder and dreary, and there were only a handful of us there at lunchtime. Although this popular bar gets very busy on nights, the food is actually very good. I ordered the buffalo chicken quesadilla and was not disappointed one bit. Service was kind of slow but it wasn't too busy so we got in and out pretty fast. This was such a terrible experience only because of how the staff handled themselves. We never had a problem our whole time there. We got our tab. Online and everywhere they advertise $5.99 quesadillas. Come to find out that doesn't start until 6pm. This is not disclosed anywhere until after given our tab. Also went during happy hour. Half of our tab was not charged for the happy hour special. Waitress then got all the staff and bouncer involved only because we asked "was the quesadillas $5.99?). The bouncer the. So I finally went back to Tin Roof after a long time between visits. Usually it's so packed that I go elsewhere in the neighborhood. But, coming off of 2020 being flipped on its head a coupla months ago, restaurants are re-opening with limited seating. I was met at the door by a host who got a server to take my to-go order of the Loaded Tots- tater tots with ranch, bacon, scallions & cheddar cheese. After a short 7-8 min. wait, my order came out. So all good there- I was greeted right away, my order taken soon after, and the wait time was more than appropriate for the order and the number of customers waiting for their food. Suffice it to say, the loaded tots were indeed loaded, fresh and hot. Best of all, they were great. I will be back some time this summer, no doubt, to check out any new items at the Roof and have a beer or three. read more

I came here for New Years and bought a drink and the bartender gave my card back to someone else then told me I was too drunk to remember putting it away in my purse when I was completely sober. They refused responsibility and i had to stand around at the bar until luckily the man who they gave it to came back up and turned it in. I will never again buy a drink from here, that could have been absolutely horrible if I wasn't sober and didn't realize they literally gave my card away. Outside of this, I can't say I've ever enjoyed the bar anyways. It's almost all sitting room with a very small dance floor. The sitting encourages talking, but there's no way you can do that without screaming because they are consistently playing pretty bad music at what seems to be the highest volume every single speaker in the place can take. This is never a bar I willing to go to, and am incredibly reluctant to go even if ever single one of my friends are there. One positive thing I can say though is that their food is very good. Coming outside of normal late night bad hours, the place is a lot better. I enjoy all their food and have never heard anyone say anything bad about that. read more

This place has always been a favorite of mine to go out and enjoy some dancing and drinks. I came in here with a friend because wit was her choice. That and she had some discount book that gave us a buy one get one option. We both ordered the same sandwich which was the shrimp po boy. It was pretty tasty, but to me it felt bland. The hot sauce didn't have much kick to it, and the fries were too salty. The food took forever to get, but it was a simi busy Thursday evening and they had 2 large tables but they seemed to be drinking and no rating. Overall, the food was good, the atmosphere was chill and the service was decent. I'll be back here but not for food. It's a good place to have some beer and kick back. I mean we could see her but it was like she didn't see us. Our glasses sat empty, she sat at the bar and texted. I normally like dining at Tim Roof but not today. Our server was very pleasant and the music was great. If you decide go, DO NOT order the Shrimp Po Boy, Shrimp Tacos or Tossed Salad. The Po Boy was cut in half. Each half had two small pieces of shrimp, a huge tomato slice and three pickles for$10.00. What a waste of money and my fries were cold. One of my coworkers ordered two shrimp tacos. There were two small pieces of shrimp on each taco. And the tacos were very wet. Every time my co worker took a bite, liquid came out. Those were $8.00. My other coworker ordered a salad. It was very wet as well. Almost like the bottom of her salad was sitting in liquid. We didn't complain and we let a tip but we won't order those things ever again. read more

I always have a good time at Tin Roof. Most recently, I was there for the NCAA Championship basketball game. Unfortunately I didn't get there early enough to get inside the actual bar, but they had a great setup outside with an enormous LED jumbotron type TV and another 70"+ screen under a huge outdoor tent - think "outdoor wedding tent." They had beer available at the outdoor bar, but unfortunately they were not prepared to accept debit/credit cards outside. Various times throughout the year Tin Roof hosts some decently known bands, and it is very cool to see such performances for a significantly lower price than a ticket to a standard concert venue. They usually have some sort of drink special - especially during the summer months and during football season. As this location is pretty much across the street from a major university, there should be no surprise about the makeup of the patrons here. But like I said, I always have a good time at Tin Roof! read more
