The sandwiches are great .. cheese logs were huge and delicious.. baked beans were perfect. the service was excellent... pretty cool sports bar with a large selection of draft beer... management was friendly and attentive...Monique does an excellent job Managing. We will be back.

Danielle was great! Food was great! Pretty sure the manager sat and talked and did nothing all day. We were there for hours as we traveled from Indiana. Several tables not cleaned as he watched them leave. Never greeting or otherwise. More concerned with his people coming in to visit and making sure they were taken care of. I wanna love this place but the effort is not there.

Grilled chicken salad. Its huge! The server apologized and brought me grilled chicken.

We are visiting from Ohio. We've been on the road since 6am stopping for breakfast in Cincinnati and in Winchester to play in a baseball tournament where the real feel was over 100°. The restaurant has a large covered patio facing the parking lot. The door to the restaurant is in the rear of the patio towards the right. The server was putting us at a high top when he noticed my limp and offered us a low top. I gratefully accept and followed as he leads us to THE BACK OF THE RESTAURANT. (Hello- limp!?!) We get there and its a booth because I'm supposed to use my bad leg to push myself into a huge, sticky, wooden both. I just thanked him and sat down. As I longingly looked back at the 50 or so 4-top tables near the host stand that would have been perfect for someone with a disability. But we were hot, hungry and tired so I sat and opened my very dirty menu. The person before me really loved their wing sauce and wanted to share! I started with a cup of beef chili. It was very mild and not special. I liked it but I would not order it again. My son ordered the Mozzarella Logs. Gigantic Mozzarella Sticks! These things were as large as big egg rolls. My son is an athlete. A hungry athlete. He could only eat one. Hubs and I shared one. They were really good! Hubs ordered the Bourbon Burger. The Bourbon sauce was just a sweet BBQ sauce. The burger was juicy, the bun was standard and it came with a side of house kettle chips. Nothing special. Next time he will upgrade to one of their other sides. Hubs said he would get the burger again but he wouldn't return FOR the burger. I ordered the grilled chicken salad. Kitchen sent out fried chicken. The server apologized and brought me grilled chicken. I wanted buffalo chicken. Server recommended their medium sauce. Next time I would order hot. Like the chili- their wing sauce was very mild. Service was either hot or cold. When we first arrived the server was attentive and helpful. He was MIA later when we needed him. I started this review giving it a 4 star. But as I wrote this, I remembered all of the reasons we will pick a different restaurant for our 4 day stay in Lexington.

Sampler platter. SO filling!

Updated: Jan 2023 In town and made another visit to KSBar. As before, it didn't disappoint. We've only ever ordered their sampler appetizer and were so full we couldn't try any of their other food. So this time we decided to skip the appetizer. My husband got the bourbon burger and I got the chicken tender wrap. They were both DELICIOUS. When my husband first received his burger he said "I'm disappointed I didn't get the sampler." But then he took a bite of the burger and said "omg the bourbon sauce on this burger is so f-ing good". So there you have it, folks! My chicken tender wrap was really good - especially drizzled with ranch (because I put ranch on everything). Their beer selection is always wonderful. This place remains one of our favorites in the state of Kentucky!

Went there yesterday on game day and enjoyed the radio show happening live. Food was good, server was very friendly, quick and courteous. We ordered their burgers and the original wings with KS sauce and everything tasted fresh and swell!

I endorse KSBar as a great place to catch a game, IF you are a UK fan. Solid general sports bar as well.

Overall food was really solid sports bar grub. I don't think there's anything particularly special about it but it's really solid overall

Fries are good but the burgers are horrible. I'd rather eat at McDonald's seriously. Food took forever as well.

Can't find the menu online, but do they have a Kentucky Hot Brown on the menu? I'm coming from California for the Georgia game, so I hope they have them there!

I just recently posted their new menu on here. They do not have the hot brown. But I would recommend still going and getting their wings. They are wonderful!

Do they take reservations?

I asked the same question no they don't

Today, Veteran's Day, was especially delightful as they offered vets up to $35 off their food. Dustin, the bartender, took great care of me and as always is professional and friendly. The sushi was very fresh and delicious. My Michters Rye Old Fashioned was exquisite. On this cold post snow day the roaring fireplace tucked into the corner was a welcome and cozy addition. I encourage everyone to stop in a Drakes location and enjoy a meal or beer with a friend. Cheers!

Kitchen staff- you all ate that up!!!!! our food was so so amazing…read more Unfortunately, our server Morgan left a sour taste in our mouth. We did not see her for at least 25 minutes. She comes to the table right beside us asks how they are, we wave at her, she then proceeds to turn around and walk the other way. Okay, accidents happen, whatever. What really started to rub us the wrong way was we watched her spend 10 plus minutes at a table of boys who looked a little young for her talking and twirling her hair. At this point we all finished our drinks 30 plus minutes ago. I'm starting to get thirsty af! We see her on her phone in the corner still refusing service to our table. Eventually food is ran to us by some kind young gentleman (thanks!!!). Missing all of the sauces we requested (usually not a big deal but considering we had no clue when we would see her again lolol). Also, still no new drinks. Time goes by and we eventually have to ask another woman to go find her. Almost 10 minutes later, Morgan returns!!! Yay!!! She takes our drink orders. We wait a bit. That's never a big deal because I understand that bartenders are busy. She eventually brings them out, unfortunately missing 2! Great! FINALLY, we get the rest of our drinks. Proceed to sit there and wait. Eventually have to ask another older gentleman to get our checks. He then waves down Morgan and she finally gets back to us. I get having a bad day, but watching you treat other customers with 10x more respect and attentiveness is just frustrating. Lack of consistency. Terrible experience, just happy I was with my besties!!!

We had reservations but ended up getting there early and just had our dinner at the bar. We both had cocktails which we enjoyed along with the deviled eggs for an appetizer. The eggs were okay--a bit spicier than I would have preferred and I would probably try a different app next time I go (there will be a next time for sure!) My shrimp and grits were great but honestly the bourbon glazed wings that my fiance had were the show stoppers. Large sized wings that were smoked perfectly with the right amount of crunch topped with a sweet but not too sweet bourbon glaze. I will definitely get those next time I go. The vibes were casual and chill--the perfect place to pre-game before a game or event or the perfect place to meet friends for a drink. I'd definitely recommend!

The fried duck rangoon is a delicious option (unless you just don't like cream cheese), but the fattiness carries the sauce so well. Also, tacos are always a good option - Taco Tuesday specials are so worth it. Lots of service options (to go, at the bar, sit down service). You can even get a delivery to Beer Trappe! Everyone has been super nice every time we've gone and very helpful even with silly questions. It can get kinda loud, especially on event nights, but outdoor seating is great when the weather is nice!

This visit marked our third time at OBC Kitchen, and once again, it did not disappoint. This time we experimented with timing and booked an early reservation at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. We crossed over into the dinner menu and discovered something wonderful: the service and ambiance were even better than the busier evening hours after 6 pm. The staff was exceptionally attentive. Every dish and cocktail option was explained thoughtfully, which I appreciate, especially because I enjoy cocktails that come with a bit of theater. When drinks are presented with care, described well, and executed beautifully, the experience becomes part performance, part craft. Here, they delivered perfectly. The food, as always, was superb. We shared several chef selections including Beef Tallow Fries, Southern Grouper, Bacon in a Glass, and the Cola-Braised Short Ribs. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and confidently executed. Dessert continued the celebration with the Churro Cheesecake, and to our delight we were also gifted the Warm Buttermilk Donuts, which felt like a small act of culinary generosity. In a departure from my usual Manhattan and Old Fashioned flights, I tried a Bloody Mary and The Cure, both excellent and beautifully balanced. At this point I can confidently say OBC Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. The consistency, creativity, and hospitality make every visit memorable. A special thank you to the team who took care of us on Saturday, March 7th, 2026. You elevated an already wonderful experience and made it even better than usual.
