I really enjoyed Jerry's. A throwback to a simpler time. Great diner vibes with Southern hospitality and great prices. We went for breakfast and the country breakfast was huge and perfectly made. Service was very attentive and we made sure to leave a 30% tip. Well done Jerry's. read more

I was waiting for strawberry season to have Jerry's famous Strawberry Pie. I LOVE pie! This was actually a tart, a good sized one at that. On my way into Paris, I picked it up to go and sat at Secretariat Park on Main Street to eat it. It was not lost on me that it is Belmont day, Secretariat's Triple Crown triumph. The crust was packed with strawberries and topped with whipped cream. I enjoyed every bite. Hurry and get one before strawberry season is over. 60 read more

Tried Jerry's recently -- overall, it was decent. My burger was actually really good, and the fries and chips were fine. The other sandwiches at our table were definitely the standout and everyone seemed to really enjoy theirs. Big win of the night: the chocolate cake at the end.... we all dug in and it was hands down the best part of the meal. One small note: I know it's a diner vibe, but the furniture/seating could really use some updating. It wasn't the most comfortable and took away from the experience a bit. Overall, a solid spot -- I'd come back, especially for the sandwiches and dessert. read more

Good food and service! Breakfast is a must!! The prices are very reasonable. The coffee is super good as is their biscuits and gravy!!

I'm a local, my son that used to live here came in from Mississippi, to visit, asked me to pick a restaurant and I told him to, so he picked Jerry's because it had been a while, our waiter was excellent, but oh my goodness the food??? My son chose the fried chicken livers and gravy, and turnip greens and broccoli casserole for sides, He didn't eat any of it hardly because the greens tasted like they had been dumped out of a can straight onto his plate, no seasoning at all, the broccoli casserole was no more than limp broccoli smothered in a ton of fake cheese melted in a pool, we went home with hardly nothing touched with left overs and I found the chicken livers with the gawl bladder bags still attached, not even cleaned?? Disgusting, and I DO Have pictures to prove it! NEVER again! read more

We were passing through and on a whim, stopped here. Southern hospitality at its finest. Excellent customer service from the minute we walked in. Had a BLT and my husband had a burger. Great diner food. Servers kept our drinks full and checked in frequently. Must try the pumpkin pie. Outstanding. Thanks!! read more

I stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Friday afternoon. The place was busy, but I got my order taken right away and got my meal in a timely manner. I had a J-boy plate with fries and slaw. For dessert I had to have the hot fudge cake. My server(Olivia) kept my drink full and was friendly. I am a little over an hour from Jerry's, and I will definitely be eating there again. read more

Tucked away in the charming town of Paris, Kentucky, Jerry's Restaurant is the kind of place that reminds you why local diners are the heart of small-town America. After my recent visit, I'm convinced this unassuming establishment deserves far more recognition than it gets. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with genuine Kentucky hospitality. The staff here doesn't just serve you--they welcome you like family. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and clearly took pride in ensuring we had everything we needed. The menu strikes that perfect balance between classic American comfort food and variety. I opted for their country fried steak, and it was executed beautifully--a generous portion with a golden, crispy coating that gave way to tender meat beneath, all smothered in rich, peppery white gravy. The accompanying sides were equally impressive: creamy mashed potatoes that tasted homemade (because they were) and green beans cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. My dining companion chose the meatloaf special, which arrived as a thick, perfectly seasoned slice with a tangy-sweet glaze. It was comfort food at its finest--the kind of dish that tastes like someone's grandmother spent all afternoon perfecting the recipe. The portions are substantial without being overwhelming, and the prices are remarkably reasonable, especially given the quality. You're getting real, honest food made with care--no shortcuts, no pretense. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd hope for in a local restaurant: clean, comfortable, and unpretentious. The dining room has that warm, lived-in feel where regulars clearly know the staff by name, yet newcomers are made to feel just as welcome. Don't skip dessert. Their homemade pies rotate daily, and the coconut cream pie I tried was a revelation--sky-high meringue with a perfectly balanced filling that wasn't overly sweet. Jerry's Restaurant represents everything that's right about hometown dining. It's the kind of place where quality ingredients, skilled cooking, and genuine hospitality come together to create something special. The last of it's kind in Kentucky, Whether you're passing through Paris or you're a local, do yourself a favor and stop in. You'll leave satisfied, full, and already planning your next visit. read more

This is the last Jerry's restaurant and it is in Paris Kentucky. I had the cheese burger and onion rings. It was just like I remembered growing up and eating at the one in Corbin . The restaurant was pretty busy and that is always a good sign. I had the hot fudge cake for desert and it was delicious. The service was really good at the restaurant. read more

Everything we had was great! The restaurant was crowded, but in a way that felt like thanksgiving with everyone including second cousins. The servers were all very attentive to their tables and quick to refill coffee. Whatever you do, don't leave without trying the hot fudge cake! Always good! read more

This place is awful! The JBoy bun crumbled like a cracker it was so hard. The burger was barely warm and 2 measly strands of shredded lettuce. The onion rings were very very hard. The ham and cheese croissant has an uncooked runny egg on it. The croissant was ice cold. The strawberry pie has "whipped cream" on it. It's definitely pretty looking cool whip that runs the pie. The crust was dry and old. Do yourself a favor and get a burger in a gas station. This isn't not a good meal at all. The service was mediocre at best. We went forever with no silverware to eat coleslaw with. Waited 10 minutes for our check. Lousy food, lousy experience. I will not be back ever. read more

Jerry's Restaurant - Lousy strawberry pie. Dry nasty crust and cool whip thats made to look like whipped cream. - American Near Me - Paris, Kentucky

Met me brother there the Friday before Thanksgiving. Great burger (bacon cheeseburger with beer cheese). Onion rings were too over cooked for me, but not horrible. The cole slaw was exactly as I remembered Jerry's cole slaw, which means it was excellent. We each had a chocolate shake for desert. Very scenic drive from Lexington with lots of horse farms, and great fall colors this time of year. If you have fond memories of eating at Jerry's, prepare for a trip down memory lane. It was everything I hoped it would be. Very nostalgic. A+++ read more

Had heard that this was the only surviving Jerry's in KY, so I had to visit. I had many a J-Boy when I was in HS and college, so I ordered 3 of them to go. They are similar to, but different than Big Boys. I remember when they were 55 cents, now they are $6.99 58 years later, which is about like everything else. They tasted great and carry-out service was fast and friendly. read more

I have been wanting to try Jerry's and dropped in here for a Burger and onion rings, both were very good, and the service was nice and friendly. It is your typical local restaurant, and really the last Jerry's left. The menu had a good selection of items, that I probably should have tried, but I really wanted a burger that day. read more

The food was disappointing. We had lunch there. My husband ordered the patty melt, which was horribly dry. I wanted the chef salad. We drove over 20 miles one way because I remembered how good their chef salads used to be. We asked that our appetizers come first but the chef salad came out first. But I found dirt in my lettuce as the server watched as I put those pieces of lettuce on my napkin. I was so very disappointed and I will not be going back. read more

I just moved into town but I already have an old friend in Paris. Jerry's! Jerry's restaurant was a staple in my routine in my growing up years in other parts of Kentucky, but sadly they have all but disappeared. Imagine my joy when I arrived in Paris and discovered Jerry's is one of the busiest restaurants in town. I've eaten there at least a dozen times in the past month and I have enjoyed every visit. The food is just as good as I remembered it, the service is fast and friendly. There are several other restaurants in town and many fast food options, but Jerry's is on the top of my list in Paris, Kentucky! read more

If you enjoy BLAND over cooked food that has no flavor, this is your go to place. Not worth the hype it got on our local tv news, as a go-to place. We are at Jerry's on a busy Friday evening, but we were seated quickly. The service was prompt and our food came out quickly. My wife and I both had their North Atlantic Cod which comes as 4 thick filets. The fish was flaky and very good and my onion rings were better than most places but a little on the greasy side. The broccoli "casserole" was just cheese and broccoli, no cracker topping. Hush puppies are good although small. It is an older, family ran place with comfortable seating, quaint decor and good food. read more

My boyfriend and I visit Jerry's on a semi regular basis. It's a half hour drive for us but worth it in my opinion. When you enter be prepared to wear yourself. The menu is very reasonably priced and has lots of options including everything from salads to country fried steak. Two people can eat here for under $20 which is great if you're on a budget. The desserts are also all under $4.00 so you can indulge your sweet tooth as well. read more

Love Jerry's get the J-boy and onion rings you can't go wrong. The chicken livers and mash potatos are also awesome.

Hit or miss. Sometimes great other times sucks. Wish they were more consistent... tables clean. But smells like Lysol :/

I grew up eating at a Jerry's a lot. . .then one day, they were all gone. Our local one turned into a Denny's, but it just wasn't the same, or as good, as the Jerry's. I'd had visiting the last Jerry's standing as one of my "one of these days" things for a long time, so I went there with a Groupon in hand looking to enjoy a visit back to a favorite of my childhood. I fondly remember beef tips and noodles being my favorite meal at my local Jerry's as a kid, but apparently they didn't have that on the menu, so instead I had the J-Boy with fries, figuring I'd have their most iconic meal for my sample of the place. I would have given it 3 stars as a solid, decent eatery much like Frisch's or Denny's, but what knocked the rating down was what happened towards the end of the meal. I needed to get up and use the restroom, and when I came back after only a couple of minutes I see the busboy clearing my table. My plate had my half-eaten meal and mostly-full soda right there being dumped in the bus tray. I tried politely telling him, as he was picking up my plate, that I had just gone to the restroom. The busboy ignores me as he dumps my food plate in his tray and when I reiterate that I wasn't done, he gets a confused look as he asks if I want a to-go drink. I try to explain to him that I wasn't done eating, I just went to the restroom for a couple of minutes. The busboy just shrugs and starts to ignore me and carry off his bussing tray with my now-discarded dinner, as my waitress starts to get very apologetic and says that the busboy does this all the time and if I want she can get me another burger and fries. I wasn't really willing to wait and was rather frustrated by the whole experience, so I declined. The manager came out to comp my meal, which was appreciated (and salvaged this from being a one-star review), but from what the waitress said this happens a lot, which indicates they really don't do much about the busboy tossing out people's dinners mid-meal other than comp the dinner. So, it would be 3 stars, but I'll have to knock it down to 2 for the bad service. A word of caution, don't leave your table unattended when eating there or the busboy will clear it before you can get back from the restroom. read more

I came here because I bought a groupon and Jerry's used to be in Nashville when I was Kid. I loved the shish-ka-bob back then and OH the Fudge Cake was too die for. Well, I was excited to see the groupon offer for Lexington. We went there for a weekend excursion. We had dinner on a Friday Evening. We got there early (5pm} and it was a good thing because we got a seat and then there was a line out the door. Evidently, Jerry's is still popular. Our meal was great, but I must say a little disappointed there was no shish-ka-bob. We split a fudge cake and they just weren't as big as I remember.....but hey I am bigger so it is probably just as well. Enjoyed the food and visiting your city. read more

If you ever ate at a Jerry's in the 20th century, this place with take you back. The Italian style spaghetti was exactly like it was in the 1980s, when I first tried it as a child. This store is not at all conveniently located for me; it's about a twenty mile drive from my front door and I never have any other reason to go to Paris, KY. Still, whenever I am eligible to purchase a Groupon, I'll buy as many as possible and bring my family, too. Groupon notwithstanding, I'm pretty sure they still make a tidy profit off our visit each time. Why such devotion? I LOVE their cole slaw!! I know, right? Twenty miles for cole slaw!! Not sure I can make that make perfect sense. I like the rest of their menu, but this affection for Jerrico brand cole slaw dates from my youth in the 1960's and, no, I don't believe it's exactly the same recipe as 40-50 years ago, but it's still pretty darn good. So, five stars for the cole slaw, and three for location. read more

Mediocre at best. Just cook some frozen prepared stuff at home. Just as good and much cheaper. The burgers did look good though.

Stopped in to get a carryout order for my family since I did not feel like cookie that day! It was worth it. I got a great deal on their Groupon so I used it for my purchase that night. We had a variety from burgers to fish and shrimp (which was on special that night). Everthing was hot and fresh and was enjoyed with no disappointments in any way.
