Lion's Choice may be considered a fast-food restaurant, but your sandwich is made fresh. If you order inside at the counter, you can see them slicing your roast beef. My go to cheese is my favorite cheese, Pepper Jack. The seasoning they use and the Pepper Jack makes it a perfect sandwich to me. When anyone ask me, which fast food place has the best french fries, I always respond, Lion's Choice. Their fries still have the skins on, are fried crisp and just lightly salted. The kitchen is always clean from the counter view and the dining room is well maintained as well. The cashiers are friendly and provide excellent customer service. If you like Roast Beef sandwiches with or without cheese, I highly recommend you go and enjoy one at Lion's Choice. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I've been wanting to try this place, because I am indeed a wing snob. Traditional bone-in only…read more(IYKYK) the other is just glorified chicken strips with sauce. I ordered online and picked up my order to-go. The good news is the wings were ready quickly and also super crispy which is always pleasant and what you want out of a wing. The slightly bad news is the wings are *very* lightly sauced. There was an option to pay an extra 0.50 for extra sauce, but I decided to see what their baseline was since it was my first time ordering. In the future, if you like a sauced wing at all, I would pay the extra. I got the buffalo (one flame symbol) and the Nashville Hot (three flame symbols) which I felt was accurate. The buffalo was not really hot at all, just the buffalo-flavored sauce and the Nashville Hot was warm enough to leave your lips a little tingly, but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the flavor. My interaction with the staff was brief but pleasant. I would love to come back and try their loaded fries which look delicious, but didn't trust I could get them home before they got cold and soggy. So next time I'm there for dine-in, I'll give those a try. If you're a wing snob, it's worth a visit!

Do these reviews really matter?…read more I want to see after I write this if it changes anything at the Edwardsville location. I also will call the location franchise owner to let them know how they lost a $148.00 sale plus tip to their competitor as well. I am not an unreasonable person. I don't write bad reviews to make others feel bad for me. My goal is to inform. This evening, my family of 7 adults and 4 children attempted to place an order on the wingstop app for the Edwardsville location. We concluded the order and attempted to checkout. The app would not allow us to complete the order, so we updated the app on a different device and attempted our order again. We had a $147 and the rewards would've been a great bonus had we used the app to order. After 10 minutes of trying to make our order on the app, It became clear to us that the app was not working properly so we decided to call the store to place our order. I told the person that answered the phone I tried to place an order on the app but it was not going through. I said my order was $147 and I needed to place it over the phone since the app was not working. The person told me the maximum order for a call-in was $50. He knew that I had an order of $147. I told him that I had 2 orders to give him and he started to take my name and order then asked me to hold on. Another person got on the phone and told me it violated the wingstop policy to take 2 orders for the same person over the phone. I said that I would go ahead and just place one order and have my son call his order in separately. He told me the maximum order for a call in order was $25. I then told him that I wanted to order the $30 wings special and he said I couldn't because it violated the $25 calling order policy. Here is my issue. I told him it was clear to me that they did not want to take my order nor did they want the sale for their store and that I would take my business to another wing place. We did just that. It turns out that Wing Snob in Glen Carbon 618-366-9464 is a better place to get your wings in the Edwardsville area. It cost us $20 less for the same order and the app worked just fine. Also the bonus was the people we're delightful. Bottom line; Skip Wingstop, they dont need yoir business, Go to Wing Snob, the people are nice, they can do their job. it cost less and it's better tasting anyway.

If you are already a poke fan, DEFINITELY check them out. If you are a newbie or poke-curious, Poke Munch makes it VERY easy on beginners - and the staff is the "sauce on the bowl" if you will. It has been the same, clearly-invested, friendly and engaging staff on each visit (Ie....no rotating high schoolers checking IG on their phone while you figure ish out). Poke Munch is a Hawaiian take on the poke bowl. It is in a small shopping area with plenty of parking. You enter the shared dining area mentioned above and head right to order at the counter before moving on to your seat. The dining area and restrooms were very clean each time I visited. There is a ginormous, easy to read (and understand) list of recommended bowls. Keep in mind you can customize whatever you like! Or ask the staff to make you their favorite bowl.....put their favorite combo of sauces on your custom bowl....etc. etc. I DESPISE ginger, and as I get older, the number of carbohydrates consumed and the size of my pants seem to correlate, so I always hold the ginger & grains and get all mixed greens as the base of my bowl. Their raw, cubed fish has always been exceptionally fresh. There are a ton of vegan options and if you don't care for raw or surf, there is an excellent Crispy Hei Hei bowl with sesame chicken tempura, white cabbage, cucumber, sweet onion, carrot, shiitake mushroom, crispy garlic, unagi sauce, and PM sauce - but again, construct and customize any way you want. Do not sleep on the *Shiitake Mushroom Pot Stickers*. LOVE! Chopsticks, cutlery, and soy sauce are available. Grab a lid for your bowl if you don't finish. The food is so fresh that it has been just as good during round 2.

I am a big fan of wings and when I order them out, I like it when my order has the same amount of flats and drums. My favorite piece is drums, but I still like having the same number of flats. Their Buffalo sauce had a good amount of spice, but was not overpowering. Which made them easy to enjoy. The Onion Rings are made in house, but for me they were just Plain Jane and nothing special. The rings were on the small side and the coating was a thin coating that really didn't much flavor. I wished I had ordered the Crinkle Fries instead. My adult beverage was a Vodka and Seltzer. I was pleased to see that their rail vodka is Tito's. Which makes for a refreshing cocktail.
