Do these reviews really matter? I want to see after I write this if it changes anything at the Edwardsville location. I also will call the location franchise owner to let them know how they lost a $148.00 sale plus tip to their competitor as well. I am not an unreasonable person. I don't write bad reviews to make others feel bad for me. My goal is to inform. This evening, my family of 7 adults and 4 children attempted to place an order on the wingstop app for the Edwardsville location. We concluded the order and attempted to checkout. The app would not allow us to complete the order, so we updated the app on a different device and attempted our order again. We had a $147 and the rewards would've been a great bonus had we used the app to order. After 10 minutes of trying to make our order on the app, It became clear to us that the app was not working properly so we decided to call the store to place our order. I told the person that answered the phone I tried to place an order on the app but it was not going through. I said my order was $147 and I needed to place it over the phone since the app was not working. The person told me the maximum order for a call-in was $50. He knew that I had an order of $147. I told him that I had 2 orders to give him and he started to take my name and order then asked me to hold on. Another person got on the phone and told me it violated the wingstop policy to take 2 orders for the same person over the phone. I said that I would go ahead and just place one order and have my son call his order in separately. He told me the maximum order for a call in order was $25. I then told him that I wanted to order the $30 wings special and he said I couldn't because it violated the $25 calling order policy. Here is my issue. I told him it was clear to me that they did not want to take my order nor did they want the sale for their store and that I would take my business to another wing place. We did just that. It turns out that Wing Snob in Glen Carbon 618-366-9464 is a better place to get your wings in the Edwardsville area. It cost us $20 less for the same order and the app worked just fine. Also the bonus was the people we're delightful. Bottom line; Skip Wingstop, they dont need yoir business, Go to Wing Snob, the people are nice, they can do their job. it cost less and it's better tasting anyway. read more

Wingstop - This was the email that I got later from the Wingstop rewards program. We will not return to the Edwardsville location. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Edwardsville, Illinois

I have been to this location multiple times and I can't even say this a hit or miss. Its always a miss the food usually some what decent but like the stuff that be going on is outrageous like on one occasion I went there I ordered a 15 piece BONE IN and I received BONELESS which is ABSURD because bone in wings cost a decent amount opposed to the boneless so I decided to go back up there because obviously I wasn't going to eat that. I get there tell them the order wrong they try their best to fix it but their very incompetent because I only received 10 wings so I then had to go in AGAIN. On my next occasion I went to there I once again ordered my normal 15 piece I walk in for my order and I check it because its routine for this location and I discover my that they are missing my fries so I tell them they get to correcting it and I look at my wings and this is not hot honey rub and the worker starts to gaslight me and says " that's extra sauce" Hot honey rub Is a dry rub its should not be wet. So I give buddy the benefit of the doubt because I know what its supposed to look like. I go home and I bite in to the wing and behold its some mysterious flavor that's no where near what hot honey rub is . these workers need some type of help there is no way we should be getting service like this I am paying hard earned money for bs imma have to find a way to report this to a higher person read more

Told us our order would be ready latest 5:57 we drove there on there board it claims or orders ready when it's not seems like they do this to improve there out times for the food but a total inconvenience for the customer we finally got our food at 6:20 the cashier seems like he's on meth and had zero sense of food safety Littlry wiping sweat from his head and continuing working with the food then there's the building it's music is blasting can't even hear each other talk and not a single clean table in the whole building if I could give a zero I would read more

The suggested wait time here is always astronomically incorrect. If it says 30 mins, add on at LEAST 20 more. I always get a 3 tender combo meal & that alone. Which you wouldn't think takes as long as a 40 count wing, but you'd be incorrect. Order was supposed to be done at 7:25 and walked out at 7:50. If the food wasn't so good, I'd be pressed to give it a lower score. The staff has always been very kind, and they all seem to be working with tact during busy times. Very high amount of DoorDash orders it seems which I can imagine messes with ticket times. It's just a shame you can always count on them to be slow. I think the owners should do their staff a favor and hire more people, maybe turn off online ordering or DoorDash to help with the management of how orders come in. As someone who's working the food industry for years, I believe that this problem is fixable. It just comes down to management support and staff. read more

This place is okay but it is INSANELY slow. It will say your order is ready in 9-14 minutes but really that's closer to 45-50 minutes. There have been 2 occasions where we have just left because it was taking too long. Just unrealistic wait times which makes the whole food process just suck. Also got a bot response and won't change this because a bot asked me too read more

Service is terrible. Twice had online pick up scheduled and waited 45 minutes- 1 hour after the scheduled pick up time. With out any explanation of why it was delayed. read more

Terrible customer service everytime you come in the foods never ready always a 30-40min wait time even tho I ordered ahead they never get to the walk ins you'd be waiting there for 30min just for them to take your order barely season the food and employees in the back playomg and cussing at each other very unprofessional this place needs to be shut down asap read more

This has to be the worst establishment I've ever been to. They are INCREDIBLY slow, rude, and borderline incompetent. If you want to wait for your food for over an hour, be my guest. Worst WingStop I've ever been to. Would love for it to be shut down. read more

Wings are never saucy enough!! ! The floor was so greasy I was ice skating. Huge fall hazard . hairnets were needed

If you wanted to be shorted in your order, treated terribly and hung up on, look no further! This is the place for you.

We've been to this Edwardsville location of Wingstop several times over the years and, lately, things are not so great. Tonight, my wife, daughter, and I went for dinner. The young lady that came to the counter, when we walked in, seemed like she would much rather be anywhere but where she was and that became more evident when we told her we were ordering for dine in. We ordered 2- 6 piece boneless combos and 1- 8 piece boneless combo. Nothing special. There was another party of 3 right behind us in line That ordered items to go. We made our drinks and found a table. as other customers came in the restaurant. I heard the employee tell them it would be a 45 minute wait. This has been a common thing with this location for some time. for wings and fries? really? The people that ordered right after us, got part of their order after about 10 minutes. several minutes later they called my wife's name. She went to the counter and was not being acknowledged. They called the name of the party that came in right after us and same treatment. Finally, a male from that group asked the lady at the counter for their order as it had been sitting there for quite sometime. They gave them their order and my wife told the employee our order had been called as well. Did not get better from there. The food was cold. The wings were mushy and cold and the fries were cold, partially because they sat so long after being packaged and partially because they were only half cooked. At that point we ate what we could and left without making a big deal out of it. The funny part about this, is they have printed "letters" taped to the front of the ordering counter asking you to leave them 5 star ratings. If this is the service and quality you are giving your customers, how do you expect 5 star ratings? I totally get a large bulk of their business is online ordering (we are in a collage town), but why have inside dining at all if this is how you are going to treat customers that eat in the restaurant? One of the things I do not like about Wingstop is the fact there is not one trash can in the dining area. You have either leave your mess on the table or bring your trash to the front counter for the employees to deal with. This may be the last trip to the Edwardsville Wingstop for us. read more

Wingstop - 6 piece original hot boneless combo - Chicken Wings Near Me - Edwardsville, Illinois

Another customer came in, ordered and got his food before me even though I ordered online, already checked in and was waiting over 15 min inside before he ordered! I saw the cook in the back drop fries and wings in the floor and scoop them back into the same bowls they give you the food in for someone's order! I'm missing half my foood after waiting 45 min for food I ordered at home 30 min before my 15 min drive to even get there for someone else to walk in and get there order before mine. It's so distasteful and disappointing I did not feel prioritized after trying to be proactive because I was already short on time and it made me way later. read more

We've loved WS for a long time, but haven't had it in a while so thought we would stop in. Not only do they not have any indoor seating available, the first thing out of anyones mouth was "you have to put on a mask". If they want to mandate it that is certainly their right, but how about "welcome to wing stop, we need you to mask up please" We left read more

The wings used to be so good same with the tenders but now everything is just extra oily. I don't know if they hired someone new to cook or what, but the food has gotten way too greasy. And the worst part is, it doesn't even have to be like that,Take the lemon pepper wings for example they're supposed to be flavorful, zesty, and a little dry with that signature lemony kick. But now? They're dripping with this weird white grease and taste nothing like lemon pepper. I couldn't even finish them. Super disappointing. read more

The food is awesome and the service is great as well as the cleanliness of the restaurant

The employee was actively cussing at us from the back room for being there at 11:10am. We left since the large woman is clearly unwell.

Wing Stop has usually been known for wings but when an order that was placed a week prior for a gathering was then claimed never ordered by the store turns into stupidity. The acting manager was about as Karen as one could be. Claiming the order just came through their system moments before the store opened. Further following up with wingstop corporate (after the store claimed they couldn't fulfill the order and then never refunded the order) got an interesting feedback about what the manager claimed happened. We explained to corporate there were witnesses we knew but weren't there with at the time they may wish to follow up with since they claimed their camera recordings weren't available. lol place is small and crowded as the store is usually busy but haven't seen a lot of cars consistently since June when this occurred. read more

I was a customer for two days in a row. They messed my order the first day which was a Sunday so I went back on a Monday to have my order replaced, and the manager that was on duty named Stephanie gave me a hard time because I've asked one of her coworkers why was he steady, putting his face inside of my bag smelling my food. So she took it up on herself to insist on that I was giving her staff worker a hard time so she decides that she wants to take my box of wings and throw them in the bag so I asked her to fix them and she told me no so the other coworker tried to fix it so she tries to snatch The back from him and tell me to get out of her store and don't ever come back and not only that but the manager above her thought the shit was funny so I will be calling corporate manager today because that place sucks and. them too need to be fired read more

will never eat here again due to long wait times. the reviews on yelp and google are true.

So far not impressed with the service. Came in and it took 4 people to be able to take the order, once I got it in I had to listen to the employees curse and use fowl language. Disappointed in customer service as well as general manners. Probably won't be going back. Good ranch but that doesn't matter if the service was below average. Atmosphere was lacking. read more

I haven't ever felt compelled to leave a review before, but my experience at WingStop was the most upsetting customer service interaction I've ever had. While I know a lot of people say that without really meaning it, I truly mean I have never EVER been so insulted. The food is fine, whatever. That's not what this is about. I was asking questions about the pricing of a deal, as I have not been to this establishment before. And by questions, I mean I probably asked all of three clarifying questions, as the pricing policy was not explained to me at all. After paying and sitting down, I could hear the employees actively making fun of me. Making fun of how I didn't understand the pricing (that was, once again, not explained to me). Saying how they were holding back laugher. This humiliation amongst the employees (once again, loudly and within earshot) lasted for around a solid minute before my order was handed to me. I was going to tell the employees I could hear them making fun of me, but I was legitimately about to cry, so I simply left. Perhaps I'm too sensitive, but I couldn't believe the employees were actively insulting me and I was indeed insulted. While I haven't been to WingStop before, I certainly won't be back. This problem is branch-specific, but if there was a manager, they should have shut the badmouthing down. read more

Very poor customer service. I ordered 30 pack of bone in wings. We waited 20 minutes on the wings. They bring out boneless. I say "we ordered bone in" the manager comes over and says "she messed up and punched boneless. I can't give you what you ordered unless you pay me another $5" I said "I've already waited 20 minutes and this isn't my fault" he just shrugged his shoulder and held his hand out for $5. #WingstopEdwardsville, seriously, do better. Please hire some competent staff that can efficiently and effectively get their jobs done. The manager on duty shouldn't be telling the other employees, "don't even answer it" when the phone rings and cuss and complain when online orders come in. If you can't get your job done in an efficient manner and hate working there, then you should find another job. It shouldn't take an hour+ for a small order. I understand that you're busy. That's what happens: restaurants get busy during the rushes. But you still have to get the job done in a timely manner.. You can't just ignore customers when they come in, look at them and then turn your backs to them and walk away without at least saying, "I'll be with you in just a minute" or something with some sort of decency.. The employees at the Edwardsville Wingstop are just RUDE. And frankly, lazy and under-achievers. They'll stand around watching other people work and stand around on their phones, but they won't pick up the phone or actually prepare the food. It's usually one or two employees preparing the food (while taking their sweeeeeeeeet time), while the other employees just stand around, ignoring customers. Seriously, DO BETTER. Or find employees who can. Sincerely, a long-time manager at many food establishments over the years. read more

2 things you need to know up-front: This is not fast food in speed or price. Case in point: I ordered 10 wings and a small fries on a Tuesday night. 3 orders ahead of mine. Took over 15 minutes and cost around $11. Not a problem, just realize this and order in advance like they recommend. Why don't I mind the price of $11 for 10 wings and fries? The food was perfect. Authentic Buffalo style. Fried without breading, sauce was perfect, cooked perfect. And...these wings are some of the biggest I've had! 10 was plenty for 2 of us. The fries? Awesome - skin on and you could tell they were scratch made. We ordered a small and I don't know if they accidentally gave us a larger or what, but it was a huge order! And they were excellent. read more

Soooo nasty. Wings always taste funny. & they don't ever give you enough fries like other Wing Stops.

Went in after work to get something around 930. I get its late but your in the food industry people come in in waves it happens. But the "manager" was rude and a dick no personality wouldn't smile probably because he had a huge wad of dip In his mouth which I found very sanitary. Not coming back to this one I'll pay a higher price somewhere else read more

First and foremost, everyone complaining about the wait time, THEY ARE chicken wings made fresh. Chicken does not cook quickly like fries. If you're smart like me, I always call ahead. Every time they confirm your order they say "your order will be ready in 17mins". That's the cook time and their mantra. And ya know what, they've always been consistently 17mins. I'm not a fan of their boneless but maybe I've not had the right combo. I prefer bone-in. My favorite flavors are the original and lemon pepper. Second, they're fries are incredible. The only time I waited a minute over 17 was when they were waiting on fresh fries to accompany my meal. They're never overcooked and they are always hot. I've never had anything served here not fresh. Only complaints I've had are that my lemon pepper, wasn't lemony - peppery enough. So I learned to tell them that and they work to ensure it's better. Second complaint, they took away the "gliders" which were wonderful chicken sandwiches on delicious buns that rivaled Chikfila but they had lemon pepper on them. Totally craveable and a sad loss to their menu! BRING THEM BACK. I do find sometimes their workers maybe really hot because the place is small and they face the west getting all day sun with no shades on their windows. They need shades. It's not even comfortable to wait inside. Management should work on that. I think I've only encountered hard working employees that are hot; not necessarily crabby. Always been a good experience and I always do things to go. Wings can only be devoured without judgement at home. Messy is better read more

I tried this place out about a month ago and I was a bit disgusted. The prices were fine as they were a bit cheaper than BWW across the street, and I'm glad they had combo meals that were reasonable. But what really turned me away was that I found not one, but two hairs in my food. One was in my wings and the other was a long strand in my blue cheese dressing. I did inform one of the workers there, and he apologized. Then I looked in the kitchen and not many of the workers were wearing head protection gear. Hey, I've worked in restaurants for a long time, and I get it. Hair happens every now and then. But for some reason, I think I'll just continue to enjoy their competition across the street. read more
