I hate leaving a low review, but this Ultimate Sampler just wasn't hitting.it's been revamped and a different version than before, and I honestly liked the old one better! The fried pickles were super soft and soggy, like the breading never really crisped up. The chicken pieces barely had any meat in them and honestly tasted like frozen chicken that was reheated and tossed in sauce. Definitely not fresh.Mozzarella sticks were no stand out either. Blan, boring and cold! The mini burgers were about the only thing that came out hot and fresh, so I'll give them that. The drink was actually cool though -- a nice little boozy coffee-style drink topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. That part was fun. Overall, this location just wasn't up to the usual standard, and the sampler definitely didn't live up to the name. Took a while for our server to even acknowledge us, but it was 5pm on a Saturday. And he told us he was covering half of the bar area so we can let that go. But, he barely visited our table: visits were: do you need a refill, here's your food, ready for your check and thanks foe coming in. So, it was a busy night; but nothing extra, just the basics. Half the people in our party had cold food (no one asked for it to go back, they just went with cold wings). Overall, just not terrible but not great. Chain restaurant at its fine status. Just meh. We come here on occasion especially when we have our grandchildren because they love it. Unfortunately this trip wasn't good, for starters we requested one of the open booths and the hostess told us they were unavailable because she didn't want to overwhelm her servers. So we took the table and the very next people that came in were promptly seated by her in the booth we had requested, to make it worse they ordered and received their food way before we did. With the lot being dark, and waiting customers outside, it was difficult to see little kids playing around the building and on the lot. One star feels high. I hadn't been to this location in several years because it seemed to be on the downturn. For lunch on a Wednesday, I called in an order for a lunch chicken wrap. Was told 20-25 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes later and paid. End up waiting an additional 40 minutes to finally me asking where my lunch was? It was even started yet. On top of that, the manager was too busy to talk. On top of that, the refund I requested would take 3-5 business days. So I left with no food, wasted lunch hour, no ability to speak to the manager, no refund. I get that people are short handed but this was ridiculous. 0 stars. Will not return and would caution others to avoid if at all possible. **Update** A few days after the above experience, the general manager called me and did what should have been done the day of. Apologized and gave some sort of explanation as to why the kitchen/management had failed. Although I wasn't looking for handouts -- she insisted on giving me $20 to try them out for a work lunch again.
