I knew I would be paying full price for the meal even though I opted not to take the fries. (I'm not much of a fry guy). But I didn't expect the two pieces of tilapia to be two halves of one whole piece. Definitely disappointed by that. The employee who took my order was very patient with me as I studied the menu. Maybe I should have asked a question about the portions. Oh well. The wings were outstanding! They were crispy without requesting crispy. They had great lemon flavor that wasn't drowned out by butter. The fish was also good but had nothing on the wings. The fish was fried golden brown and crispy without being dried out. The place has a small dining room where you can dine in but most people in there were just waiting on to go orders. I'd recommend waiting I'm your car to avoid the dreaded gease smell getting in you clothes.

That hesitation disappeared real quick. We originally planned on getting 30 wings and somehow ended up with 40 because they were just that good. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. I sent my fiancé to pick up the order and even though I called it in ahead of time, he still had to wait a bit. But honestly, once we tasted the food, it made perfect sense. They were making everything fresh, and for food like that, we will gladly wait every time. This place really surprised me in the best way. The wings were seasoned perfectly, cooked just right, and completely worth it. We will definitely be back, and I am already looking forward to my next order!

I know the picture doesn't do the sauce justice, but I swear the wings were sitting in a puddle of medium garlic sauce deliciousness. Their fries and fried pickle chips are also incredible! Let it be known though that when you order large fries, they really do give you like an insane amount of fries haha. This place does get super packed on the weekends even though they have a decent amount of seating available (yes it's just that popular). Thankfully, Hourglass right next-door lets you bring in food. So we ordered to-go and popped in next door for a couple beers while we ate these bomb-a$$ wings.

Three times in the past two months I've called in a takeout order and been told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrive on time, wait another 30 minutes, and then I'm told, "Sorry, someone stole your order." That's a total of 45 minutes wasted, and it's happened multiple times. First, stop telling customers "15 minutes" if that's not realistic. I honestly don't care if the wait is 30, 45, or even 60 minutes because the food is worth it. Just be honest so people can plan accordingly instead of sitting around waiting. Second, fix the pickup process. If orders are repeatedly being stolen, require customers to show a receipt or order confirmation before handing over food. This is such a simple solution, yet the same excuse keeps being used. Every time, all I hear is "We're sorry," but nothing changes. An apology doesn't mean much when the exact same problem keeps happening. I used to recommend this place to everyone because the wings are incredible. Unfortunately, I can't do that anymore. I won't be dining here for the foreseeable future, and I hope the owners see this review because this is a management problem, not a food problem. The quality of the food is still outstanding, but if the customer experience continues to decline like this, they're going to lose loyal customers.

I also tried their Cherry Fanta since I had never seen it before. It was surprisingly delicious, and I definitely went back for a refill. The wings were cooked well with plenty of meat on the bones, and the flavor did not disappoint. Overall, it was a great meal. It was a little greasy, but that's kind of the vibe you expect from a wing spot. My only suggestion to the owners would be to improve the ventilation. If you dine in, you're almost guaranteed to leave smelling like fried food, and it was a bit smoky inside.

There were cars everywhere, and my first thought was that if we ate there, we'd probably be waiting 40 minutes for food. Boy, was I wrong. You order at the front, and the food comes out almost immediately. So let's go wing by wing. The lemon pepper wasn't my favorite. It wasn't bad by any means, but it just didn't feel like the star of the show, and I'm guessing it's probably not their most popular flavor. Next was the medium buffalo, which ended up being my favorite wing by far. It had the flavor you want from a traditional buffalo wing, with enough heat to remind you that you're actually eating buffalo without overpowering everything else. It also wasn't overly greasy, which made a big difference. I also tried the sweet and spicy Carolina sauce. That might have been the most flavorful of the three. It had a lot going on, but in a good way. But the real star here is the wings themselves. They came out perfectly sauced and were incredibly crispy from the first bite to the last. That crisp was legit. The size was also perfect. They weren't massive, they weren't tiny, just a really good wing all around. I also ordered the onion rings, which surprised me. I figured they would just be one of those throw-in appetizers you don't think much about, but after a few bites, I realized they really care about the food they're putting out. The onion rings were excellent. I'd absolutely come back.

I placed an order at the counter right before a group of people came into the restaurant. However, I was the last person to receive my meal and watched as each person who ordered several minutes after me received their food before mine, even though it was the exact same food items. It took over 20 minutes to receive my food. I understand things happen, however the employees did not acknowledge me or give an update or explanation as to why my meal was forgotten. It wasn't until I went to the counter and reminded them of my food that I was given communication and my food. I think my meal may have been given to another customer that came after me and they realized their mistake and quickly (and poorly) made mine. As for the food, I split a smash burger, chicken sandwich, and Cajun fries. The smash burger was good however this is another reason I believe I was given the wrong order entirely. I had ordered a non spicy patty and was given a spicy burger. It was very spicy which would be good if it was what I had asked for. The chicken sandwich however was pitiful. The chicken was overcooked making the meat difficult to bite into and more like a small tender on bread instead of a chicken sandwich. The bread was almost stale and not fresh. The Cajun fries were good, however not large enough to split in the slightest. For $5 fries I was hoping for something comparable in size to McDonald's fries. It felt as though my container was half filled. Extremely sadden by this last visit. I was such a fan the first time around. I hope it was just an off day for them.

Hot, Fresh & Definitely Worth Another Order…read more I ordered from That Wing Spot in Winter Park through Uber Eats, and I was pleasantly surprised that my wings arrived hot and fresh! Because let's be real... with delivery, sometimes your food takes the scenic route. Ordering Experience: 4/5 I ordered the 2 orders of the 10-piece bone-in wings which were on a great BOGO deal! My only complaint was that Uber Eats didn't give me the option to select two different flavors. If I'm getting double the wings, let me spread my wings a little and try 4 different flavors! Lemon Pepper: 3/5 The wings were fresh and cooked well, but this flavor wasn't really for me. They were too peppery and a little too dry for my taste. Not bad, just not one I'd personally order again. The Real Buffalo: 5/5 Now THESE were DE-LISH! Fresh, saucy, flavorful, and mildly spicy with just the right amount of kick. This was easily my favorite of the two. I would've gladly eaten another 10...and that's between me and my stomach. Packaging: 5/5 Everything was packaged securely and arrived hot with no leaks, spills, or soggy mess. We love a drama-free delivery! Overall, I'd definitely order from That Wing Spot again. The Lemon Pepper and I probably won't be seeing each other again , but The Real Buffalo were a hit!
