Lemon pepper, mango habanero, and buffalo.
    Claire W.

Recently moved in farmers branch area, was on the hunt for wings one day and I thought this looked interesting. Let me tell you these wings are bomb af. I been here several times and they have not missed ONCE on ANYTHING!!!! Love the people who run the place and both the women at the front are always supper friendly and helpful! :)

This is ridiculous, I pulled into the drive through and had to wait almost 10 minutes to get a response from the drive through person. I drove up to the window and ask for a Philly with fries combo. Then waited another 10 mins for the food to come out, keep in mind there was no one in the drive through nor inside the restaurant. I used to come here a lot and the Philly used to be much bigger than this. Price went up and food got smaller. Will never come back again

Mango Habanero 10 piece with extra ranch
    Brent L.

Some of the best wings I have found in the area. I had the 10 piece mango habanero (bone-in) with extra ranch sauce (and they didn't charge me for the extra ranch sauce - what, what?? I'm in love just because of that!) As expected, the wings were very sweet (mango, duh) and had a tad of habanero spice but it wasn't overpowering - I think even you amateurs could deal with this amount of heat. The wings were lightly crispy and had plenty of meat on each one. This one earned a solid five stars from me. (adding to my bookmarks)

A very vast menu that's for sure. My whole experience here was there's too much things on the menu so the quality lacks. My fried rice, and my wings and fries were all very mid, I probably won't return because it was super slow on the service, and there was no one else but me in the restaurant and I was not pleased with my food. This is not a sitting establishment. You order your food and you leave it's based out of a old sonic building. It is also pretty pricey, and the quality is not there.

    Combination fried rice

It was a feast for the senses! From wings to Philly cheesesteaks, crispy chicken sandwiches, and combination fried rice, this place does not disappoint. **Wings: 5/5** The wings were outstanding--crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I tried the garlic Parmesan, Texas Golden and honey garlic, and all were fantastic. The flavors were bold and balanced, making each bite a delight. **Philly Cheesesteak: 5/5** The Philly cheesesteak was a hit. Tender, flavorful beef topped with melted cheese and sautéed onions, all nestled in a fresh hoagie roll. **Crispy Chicken Sandwich: 5/5** The crispy chicken sandwich was exceptional. The chicken was perfectly fried--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and tangy sauce added a great touch, and the soft bun tied everything together beautifully. **Combination Fried Rice: 5/5** The combination fried rice was a pleasant surprise. It was packed with a generous mix of shrimp, chicken, and beef, along with fresh vegetables. Each component was cooked to perfection, and the rice had a wonderful, slightly smoky flavor. It was a hearty and satisfying dish that complemented the other items wonderfully and the portion was HUGE for the price The service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. **Overall Rating: 5/5** Looking forward to my next visit to explore more of their menu

So~~~good Everything is good !!!!!! I love philly cheese steak & Hot Buffalo wing best wing ever it so delicious

It breaks my heart to have to write this review! As someone who loves food and chicken wings, particularly , my spouse and I used to visit this location every week! In the summer time, especially around the Olympics, we would go and order chicken wings, Phillies, french fries sometimes mozzarella sticks because we knew things were gonna be good! We would often receive $40 off coupons. (Just to get a little context on how frequently we've ordered from this location.) I am not sure if they are under new management, but the food has gotten significantly smaller in portions. You can no longer share fries, and the wings are super small. The fries used to fill up almost half the container and now they only fill up ONE corner. It's simply just not enough food for the price point. My spouse and I went this past weekend and discovered that unfortunately this is not our favorite place for wing anymore. :(

Burned hushpuupies and rock hard fries
    Ahmed S.

Food arrived over cooked - hushpuupies burned and fried as hard as a rock - when i complained to the person in charge he pointed at the sign saying no refunds - they took them back - would not refund them or replace them. Go to wing boss across the street you will be much happier there

This used to be my favorite spot up until a couple of months ago the old owners sold the restaurant and the service and quality has declined since then also they are using cheaper lower quality products such as the chicken and rice it use to be quality pieces of chicken now they use some cheap shredded meat it was terrible photos below they use the meats that are like steakums don't know if it's actually 100% real chicken anymore

Buffalo wings... they look good, taste bad. Too "twangy"... didn't taste like Buffalo.
    Sarah G.

I looked at MANY wing places in the area before deciding on Wing Dash... Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as the reviews I read. The lady I spoke to on the phone was friendly but it was a bit shocking when she said our order would be done in 5 minutes... obviously they would have to precook the wings and then finish them to order? I've worked at a pizzeria and know wings typically take like 12 minutes to fully cook. We ordered 20pc. buffalo medium wings. The sauce was WEIRD! It had an UNUSUAL "twanginess" to it... like, a sweet/vinegar/tang to it... definitely not what we were expecting when we ordered BUFFALO wings. Maybe we're biased because we came from upstate New York, about and hour east of Buffalo. My husband HATED them. Like, hated-hated them. I didn't think they were inedible-terrible but I didn't really enjoy them either. Buffalo sauce it SO SIMPLE: Frank's Red Hot + Butter. That's it. Don't try to get fancy with it. Don't try knock off brands of cayenne pepper sauce. Don't add extra ingredients. Ugh. Now he's all pissed off because he wanted Hooters wings and I decided to try this new place instead... "my bad." My mistake. I'll probably NEVER hear the end of it. 20 years from now I'll hear about how "I picked the wing place in Dallas with the twangy buffalo wings." Needless to say, we didn't even finish our 20pc. order. It's a shame because we don't eat out *that* much and to have it be this disappointing is a huge letdown.

    Crispy curly fries!

Wings are an American staple right next to burgers, fries, and pizza. However, Wing Dashs' sign never appealed to our family. On football Sundays if we were feeling wings, we'd get our share from the usual big chains. After two years of moving into the Carrollton area, we gave this place a try and we weren't disappointed. Looks like the family-run business took over an old Sonic location but kept the large variety menu theme. From fried rice to gyros, fried fish sandwiches and wings, I was extremely skeptical. There was no way their food could be good. We ordered wings, fried rice and curly fries on our first trip and never went back to the big chains since. Their fried rice is way better than your other quick Chinese locations. Whether it's the grease or the msg (don't know if there is) it's delicious! My fiancee hates fried rice from any spot, from Panda Express' to mine, but she'll eat theirs. Wings are great but know that they can be different, in a good way. And their spice is no joke. We eat the top level of spice at every Thai joint we go to, but couldn't handle their hottest wings.

THE OWNER DUG THROUGH MY FOOD WITH HIS HANDS and continued to refuse to refund me.

I do want to start with the positives. Our waiter was fantastic. He was very attentive, explained the menu thoroughly, and provided excellent service. The food also came out incredibly fast and piping hot, which is becoming rare these days. We started with the cornbread, and it was easily a 10/10. It was worth every bit of the $12. We ordered the fried chicken, greens, shrimp fried rice, biscuits, and hot water cornbread. The fried chicken was crispy and tender, but it lacked seasoning. I'd give it a 7/10. They served it with a house hot sauce, but surprisingly it had no heat and almost no flavor. I even asked the person I was dining with if they tasted anything because it was like pouring sauce on the chicken without changing the flavor at all. The greens were just okay on their own, but once we added the vinegar they became amazing. That made me wonder why the vinegar isn't incorporated into the greens from the start. The hot water cornbread had virtually no flavor. The shrimp fried rice was cooked really well, but it had an unexpected Caribbean-style seasoning that threw me off. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't what I was expecting, and it made it hard to fully enjoy. The biscuits were probably the biggest disappointment. They were dry and hard. One thing I also noticed is that, for a family style restaurant where you're encouraged to order several dishes to share, the tables feel too small. Once all the food arrived, there wasn't much room left, and even packing up our leftovers was awkward because of the lack of space. One standout that deserves recognition was the iced tea. It had what tasted like a subtle hint of mint and was incredibly refreshing. Easy 10/10. From the cuts of chicken we received, it appears they break down and fry whole chickens, which is perfectly fine. However, at $56 for a fried chicken that lacked seasoning, I found the price hard to justify. Maybe the cooking method or oil contributes to the cost, but I expected much more flavor for that price. Overall, I'd rate my experience a 7.5/10. Would I come back? Yes. I'd be willing to give Roots another chance and try something different from the menu. But when I hear Southern food, I expect bold seasoning and comforting flavors, and that's the one area where this meal really fell short.

He gave us great information about the menu and was very attentive. For drinks, I ordered a Sri Lankan Milk Tea and a watermelon juice. My daughter had the Dalgona coffee. All of it was incredible. They make it fresh, so as the server warned us, allow twenty minutes for them to prepare yours. My daughter had the chicken zesty bowl and loved it. It does contain shrimp--very nice looking shrimp. The ambiance was fairly quiet and a unique blend of casual and formal. Hard to put a fine point on it. It was clean though some of the furniture was a bit worn. Nothing that detracted from our experience. Everything tasted memorably amazing. The service was superb. Go get hooked. I am.
