There could have been more fries provided too, or presented on a smaller plate to look fuller, imo. I also had their cafe con leche, and though I prefer my drinks real sweet, I imagine real coffee drinkers would enjoy how they make theirs. Unexpectedly found this five star matcha latte!…read more Former coffee shop and specialty tea shop barista here! We stopped in at the Killeen Mall prior to the 2024 eclipse and stumbled upon Coffee Beanery as shops were starting to put up 'be right back' signs to go watch the eclipse. The cafe was small but super nice with a more urban atmosphere, and the baristas were absolutely great. I ordered a small iced Matcha Latte and really wished I'd ordered a large. I'd admittedly expected an average quality latte at best with all of the lackluster coffee shop matcha lattes I've been trying recently, but my expectations were blown out of the water. They used a higher grade matcha and used the perfect amount in this Latte so you could taste the earthy flavor and savor it in every sip. It wasn't as smooth as some of the other five star lattes I've had m, but it was mixed, balanced, and crafted perfectly. They absolutely did this Latte right. It was rich, it was creamy, it was divine. If you're near the Killeen Mall you should absolutely stop in to give this café a try. I'm sad I'll have to travel out of city again to visit Coffee Beanery, but I'm so glad I got to experience it in the first place!

It's worth noting that the listing was recently updated to clarify that this is Wabah Cafe, not the Wabah food court--special thanks to Grant B for reaching out and making that clear! I've been visiting Omart since it opened, and the name changes over the last couple of years had me a bit confused at first. I remember when this used to be Winn Dixie grocery store. That said, Wabah Cafe stands out for its drink offerings. They serve a great variety, including boba tea, coffee, and even seasonal Korean rice drinks, which I love. Every time I've come here, it's thankfully not been too busy, so I've never had to wait long for my drink. The service is efficient, and the drinks are always spot-on. If you're visiting Omart and looking for something refreshing or caffeinated, I highly recommend stopping by Wabah Cafe!
