    Bourbon Pizza

This place was a great hidden gem! Never been here but definitely will be coming back. We had the Bourbon pizza, salt and vinegar fish fry and cavatali. Everything was really good! The portions were very big and two people could share one pizza! There was a good amount of parking near by and the inside looked small but had plenty of seating for us on a Friday evening.

This is a great little restaurant. The food was great! Service was friendly and the food was out in just the right times.

While staying at the Seneca we ventured out for dinner and enjoyed ourselves. We started with the garlic knots which were soft and perfectly garlicky. Melted in our mouths. I had the full serving of the risotto and it was more than enough food. I was stuffed by the time we left.

Bland French onion, overcooked salmon and a run of the mill Caesar salad

My friend and I were in town visiting Niagara Falls we saw the good reviews on yelp and figured we would give it a try for dinner, when I saw French onion soup on the menu I was excited. Once we arrived it took about ten minutes for someone to come take our drink order. I ordered the aviation, sooooo sweet, would not recommend. After about another 5ish minutes we received our waters. The waitress forgot my friends drink and had to ask a different waitress. Now the food. It took over 45 minutes to receive our soup and salad. The salad was your run of the mill Caesar and the French onion soup had visible seasonings in it but tasted like watered down beef broth. My friend and I shared the salmon with risotto. I know risotto is a tricky thing to cook but it seriously looked like scrambled eggs and was also bland. The salmon was over cooked. The best thing we had while here was the green beans. The side of green beans. How sad. They were cooked and seasoned well. I wouldn't recommend going here unless you have a couple hours to kill and maybe order something different. $62 for below average food and service. Yikes.

Beware with this RACIST PLACE AND PEOPLE !!! OMG! I can't even believe places like this still on business. Shame on the owner and the employees who thinks they are better because of their nationality. My hubby and I came to Niagara falls for New Years. We were having fun till we came to this place. This time of the year ( winter time) everything is closed early or it's temporary closed because of the weather. I was looking for places to go and this restaurant was the first one on the list. We walked to the restaurant and when we arrived the staff of the restaurant look at us from head to toe. I told my husband, don't worry it's "fine , I look like Miss Universe, LOL". The bartender asked us if we wanted a table, we said yes please. Now the juicy details, the bartender said " oh, I don't know if we have tables available, let me ask " WOW!!! We are seeing 3 empty tables. My husband acknowledged the fact that 3 tables were empty, I told him " lets wait , maybe the tables are reserved ( deep inside me I knew they were not reserved, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt). When we asked for a table the Bartender told the waitress"please sanitized one table for them (us)" she Said she was busy because she was making a drink. We heard her but we looked the other way. 10 minutes went by and both of them served other tables and people seated on the bar but I guess we were invisible. After 15 minutes waiting, a couple walked into the restaurant and the "busy waitress" promptly was available to clean their table. The waitress immediately sat down the couple that just arrived. Omg! On that moment we walked away. Don't come here!!! Dont keep Patronizing establishments like this !! Don't waste your money or time here!

We met friends here, we have never been. We were only out for drinks but since we stayed a bit longer we decided to try one of their gluten free pizzas, I am not gluten free but my wife has to stay away so I was pleasantly surprised that I liked it! There are a few things I would like to try on their menu. The next time we are in the Falls we know where we are going to go!

A nice restaurant. It was a pity that we didn't have a chance to have their own-brewed beers because they were sold out. However, dishes like Pizza were pretty tasty.

In town for work, not a lot of options, especially for a Monday night. Strolled down the main street in the city and found a lot of closed places or empty spots. This place had the most action going on for a Monday night. Popped in and sat at the bar. The patio was filled with people as it was a comfortable out, 70. The menu was pretty impressive and lots of wine options too. I went simple, Caesar salad, which was pretty good. Dressing wasn't creamy and tasted more like light Italian, which was fine with me. But don't except creamy, like most places. The opted for wings, they were good but nothing special. I ordered hot and got more of a mild taste. The menu had some variety and looking around a lot of people were getting pizza. Yea, pizza and wine! Hah who doesn't like that? Not a bad spot in a town with little options.

Really enjoyed our time here the other evening. As part of our weekly date night, this was our dessert stop and we sat at the bar. It was quiet for a Saturday night, but this was off-season for the area; we were very excited by this though as it mean we had the bar tender all to ourselves, and the romantic/upscale atmosphere was even more intimate. She ordered the carrot cake, and I went with the key lime cake; both were fresh and delicious, and seemed very high end which was quite welcome over some of the frozen cakes places are selling recently. I had a love glass of Syrah, and she opted for a dessert sparklingly moscato. We will absolutely be back, and would like to try out their entree's next time as many of those sounded very good from what we read on the menu.

Went here for dinner. They have free two hour parking on Third street. Entering the place we were greeted immediately by smiling staff. There's a long bar with tables to the right, and a few tables at the back, where we sat. A nice decor with many wine bottles in cases and cool looking wooden flooring. There's also another dining room hidden past the restrooms that I guess they use for parties, or during more busier time periods. Our server, Stephanie, was really friendly and really went out of her way to make sure we were doing okay throughout the dining experience. She provided me with a sample of the Blackchery Cider beer, which I really enjoyed. We also ordered a glass of Prosecco which was also great tasting. For dinner, we ordered the Greek sampler plate and pizza. The Greek plate had lots of hummus, feta cheese, pita bread, stuffed grape leaves, olive, and tzaziki sauce. It was really tasty. I like how the pita bread was warm. The pizza had a nice thin crispy rust with high quality toppings...fresh pepper, sausage, and nice small sized pepperoni that curls up. Amazing flavor! We really enjoyed this place, and look forward to Coming back to try other menu items, including dessert!

Cheese platter and truffle fries! Huge portions
    Valeria M.

Awesome place! Great vibes, great wine selection, interesting cocktails. Very good food portions, we got only a cheese/meat platter for two and truffle fries, and that was more than enough for us. We didn't need any dinner after that! Service is very attentive. Recommend 10/10.

My friend -- a Christian, not even Jewish -- was meeting with a pastor for coffee. He was wearing an IDF jacket and a Star of David necklace while discussing a recent trip to Israel. No shouting. No confrontation. No disruption. Just coffee and conversation. An employee called Durham Regional Police. Officers showed up and told him his conversation was "offensive." When asked what was said that violated policy, no one could answer. No rule cited. No clear complaint identified. Just vague discomfort -- and removal. So what exactly triggered this escalation? Not behavior. Not threats. Not harassment. Symbols. And Israel. Calling the police on someone because others don't like what he's wearing or the country he's discussing is cowardly and discriminatory. Businesses don't get to selectively silence viewpoints they don't agree with. And weaponizing law enforcement to remove someone over perceived "offense" is an outrageous abuse of discretion. If Cork & Bean believes visible support for Israel warrants police involvement, they should say that publicly. If they don't, then they owe an immediate explanation and apology. Until management addresses this directly and transparently, this establishment does not deserve community support. Do better.

We decided to find a cafe and casually open our presents there. We both yanked out Google Maps on our phones. She had mentioned that she had been to a Cork & Bean in Peterborough and and liked it. I trusted her judgment and said yes. I indicated that we needed to go up and hang a left. She felt that it was the other way around -- down and hang a right. When it comes to directions, she has the better track record since we've known each other. However, she realized that she had read the map wrong and I was correct. It felt like a small triumph, but I'm not the type to rub it in. I'm not horrible at directions. She is better at it. We walked over to this cafe. It may have taken three minutes. We had to wait for the light to change, so we could have done it in two minutes. This cafe had all the windows and doors wide open. We walked in and found a table to plop our stuff down. We then headed over to the counter to check out what we'd like to drink. My friend ordered an iced coffee with oat beverage. We both liked that there were dairy alternatives. She's vegan. I'd prefer to go lactose-free. I saw a sign that said that there were seasonal flavours. I asked the helpful man at the counter if it applied to iced coffee. Yes, it did. He could make any drink seasonal. Nice! I got a large iced peppermint latte with oat beverage. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and tipped. All was great. My friend got her drink first. Moments later, mine was ready. I thanked the man and headed back to our table to join my friend. There was live music at this cafe. We were here on a Saturday evening. Jordins ID (no apostrophe to indicate possession, which seemed odd) was playing. She was great. It was nice to have her in the background as we chatted. My drink was awesome. It was cold. I liked the peppermint with the coffee. It worked out nicely. A customer had brought his dog in. This cafe is obviously pet-friendly. It was nice seeing other customers ask if they could pet the dog. The owner was nice and said yes. The dog seemed to enjoy the affection and attention. We had a nice time chatting a bunch more and opening our presents. It was the perfect place for what we wanted to do. The menu also has beer, cocktails, and more. I saw a bunch of desserts in the display case. Since we had already had dessert with our dinner, we skipped getting any food. This cafe is in downtown Oshawa. It's free street parking on weekends. I enjoyed hanging out at this cafe. It's a nice place to grab a drink and chat, while taking in some local, live music. It was perfect. (341)

We eventually found it. Upon arrival, the door swung open and struck a seated guest -- a sign of just how small the space is. The restaurant was full except for one four-top (clearly ours), and we stood awkwardly in the entrance -- which is essentially inside the dining room -- waiting to be acknowledged. When greeted, we were asked if we had a reservation. We said yes. "Table for eight?" we were asked, which felt impossible given the size of the room. We clarified four, and were pointed to the only open table. No name was requested; we realistically could have just walked in and taken it. The space is starkly lit with aggressive bright white lighting that feels more clinical than cozy. The artwork is interesting and gives a gallery-like feel -- it seems the restaurant is aiming for a downtown Toronto wine bar aesthetic, but it doesn't quite land. Our table was missing water glasses, and the stemware was mismatched -- not in an intentional, charming way, but more in a "we ran out" way. Once seated, we weren't acknowledged or offered water for nearly 20 minutes. Not rushing guests is one thing; leaving them feeling forgotten is another. When our server finally arrived, the service set the tone for the evening. One glass of water was poured before he realized another was missing. He disappeared, returned with a glass, inspected it mid-pour, then walked away again (dirty glass). After several more trips and long gaps, everyone eventually received water -- about 15 minutes later. He was polite and friendly, just clearly untrained. He shared that the owner is also the sommelier, cook, and server, and that he liked working there because he wasn't expected to know much about wine -- an interesting admission for a wine bar. The owner greeted us warmly but asked only one guest about wine preferences -- ironically the only non-wine drinker at the table. The concept appeared to be sommelier-led, though this was never explained. If that is the intention, engaging the entire table is essential. That said, the wines themselves were enjoyable; the service surrounding them was not. The Taste of Oakville menu promised three curated 3-oz pours paired with a charcuterie board for two. The pours arrived unevenly and slowly, with little explanation of the pairings. The charcuterie boards were plain and inconsistent between tables despite containing similar items -- basic fruit, crostini, simple cured meats, small portions of brie, and two slices of truffle cheese. No crackers, spreads, or thoughtful touches elevated the experience, and presentation varied noticeably. Our second wine pour didn't arrive until our mains, and service moved so slowly we requested a wine list to order a bottle. We were told there is no wine list -- "we're not that kind of restaurant." Instead, all reds are $80 and all whites $70, and the owner selects the bottle for you after asking only red or white. The concept might work if explained upfront; without context, it was confusing. At one point, noticing my empty glass, our server poured me a random red -- which turned out to be the same wine as our first pour -- and then left without serving anyone else. We had to remind staff we were still waiting for our second curated pour. Nothing about the experience felt curated. The most surprising moment of the night came when our mains arrived. As we lifted our appetizer plates -- still holding olive pits, fruit rinds, and crumbs -- the servers told us not to worry about clearing them and proceeded to place our main dishes directly on top of the used plates. I'm still shocked. I wouldn't do that at home, let alone expect it at a Lakeshore, or quite frankly, any restaurant. Two of us ordered the tagliatelle, which was tasty but contained only two small pieces of short rib -- and was difficult to enjoy while staring at discarded rinds beneath the plate. The other two ordered brisket sliders: two sliders, no sides. They tasted good but left diners hungry. One guest joked they kept thinking the fruit rinds were fries -- unfortunately accurate. We tried to make the best of the evening, but it never delivered the cozy wine-and-charcuterie experience we had anticipated -- dim lighting, thoughtful pairings, something special. After finishing our meal, we requested our bills and reminded staff we were still waiting for the third curated pour. We were told "five minutes." Those five minutes never came. Eventually, wanting simply to leave, we paid a single combined bill and sorted it out ourselves. Dinner for four totaled $460. This was not the boutique Lakeshore dining experience we expected, and ultimately, it was deeply disappointing.

The menu posted outside with the haddock meal caught my eye. Once inside, my son found the salmon BLT on the menu and we both ordered it. It was very tasty and filling and ai know now why it is a very popular dish according to our waitress. It came with sweet potato fries which pairs nicely with the sandwich. I can see a slice of fresh avocado on it also although it doesn't need it. The restaurant is roomy and comfy with an upstairs and a banquet room available. They also have outdoor seating and it is close enough to the state park for the sound of the rapids to be heard in the background. Due to the wildfire smoke affecting the region and my asthma, we chose to dine inside. Don't miss this lovely restaurant on your trip to Niagara Falls NY. Don't worry if you're not a seafood fan, there are many other options. Dinner was popular also when we ventured past the restaurant for our sunset/night viewing and fireworks that night. Extra added bonus, it is also an inn with accommodations

The crab cake was perfectly sized, flavorful, and very satisfying. To top it all off, the crème brûlée was a delightful touch and the perfect ending to a wonderful dinner

They were very nice, the wife serve us and she was very sweet and attentive. We found this place by googling restaurants around the area and it was the only restaurant with a 4.9 starts. Every. Other restaurant had 3 stars or less. Being from the State this was important. We bought 2 pizza, one margarita and the chicken special. Also, a panini with prosciutto ( They used their pizza dough for the panini) and a lamb gnocchi. We were a group of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids. The panini was huge The food was unbelievably amazing. I've never eaten an entire pizza and felt like I hadn't eaten at all. Back in the States, one or two slices usually leave me feeling bloated, but not here. Even my 5-year-old son finished a whole pizza by himself, and my daughter devoured her entire panini and none of us felt heavy afterward. That's when you know the food isn't packed with chemicals and unnecessary ingredients.

It was a little more expensive than I thought it would be, but you have to remember. It's not pizza pizza style! (Owner, please don't come for me) When we left, I was very full. One pizza is perfect to split with two people. Overall, it was great, and I'll definitely come back again!
