While he was there I asked if he could also install a small TV mount on a brick wall in my kitchen. He said he could do both jobs and gave me a very reasonable price quote. Very honest, fair, and high quality work! I will definitely be calling Empowered Electrical Services for any of my future electrical needs.

Nice Guy and Good work, BUT Very ,Very expensive.. I was supposed to have an "estimate" done, guy…read moredid the work first and then told me the price.. kinda hard to back out of it then.If he had told me price first, I probably would have refused his estimate . $75 each to install 2 ceiling light fixtures , old fixtures were already removed.. about 35- 40 mins of work total.. What a RIP OFF , feel like its a very high price for such a small job... Id encourage any one to shop around, get prices first,, hire a home handyman or even DYI . If that's a fair price, Im a Chef and would charge him $60 labor to cook his $40 steak. I have more work to be done, I can say I won't be calling Heim for the work. Im not about to pay $75 to install a $40 light fixture .. If I cant find someone to do the job at a price that's fair, im going to not replace the light fixture and will leave it for whomever buys my condo from me , and will happily look at an ugly but functioning light fixture.

Sometimes when the next generation (the third here), takes over a business there is a drop in service. Not here! Mike is very conscientious and thorough. While a previous reviewer thought the work was too pricey, I believe you get what you pay for and my job was not something I would have relegated to a non-electrician. Mike arranged for the digging of the trench, buried utility line location, city inspector, and stump grinding. This was a full service project and I cant be more happy with the end result

Only concern that I had was that when I called him about some details to get to my property on the day he was coming over, his phone mailbox was full and I could not leave a message. I told him just let me know a number it's not that serious. He finally got back to me and his girlfriend's son showed up with him with a massive confederate flag belt buckle I thought it was odd. Bought them lunch. They didn't finish that day because of a bunch of reasons he told me (over sharers are normally lying). He is a squirrelly guy, lacks eye contact. So he tells me he needs more money to finish the job because it was more than he thought. When they come back the following day, I asked him to show me what was more than he thought. He freaks out storms out the house leaving some of his tools lol. Later texts me threats that I should be careful. I still have his tools they work great. Thanks Eric. You going to threaten the wrong guy and they going to go on the offensive one of these days. The next electrician, I hired new Eric, and he said that he used to bully people at another company he worked at and then he was a hot head. Take a deep breath, thanks for the tools still work great!

For a recent project I had called ten different companies, four called me back, three gave me quotes, one quote was insanely expensive for a simple job. The other was very cheap, yet day by day, "oh, we got busy see you tomorrow." Ummmmm. No. I work. Twin City gave me an estimate, when they said they would. Cost was more than reasonable and the crew came on time and was more than personable. Great owner and company.

The original price was $1000.00 more than any other estimate... when I pushed back on Mr Murphy…read moreabout this because I felt as though he was trying to take advantage of me, and explained the buyer of my property really wanted him because she found him here on Angie's list, he came down the 1000.00 immediately, like he had overcharged to begin with The work was completed and three weeks later my tenant moved out so I could close on the property, the utilities were to be left on as it was the winter, I inspected the property and all was fine. When I went back to the property 3 days later I found out the electric had been shut off! Which in turn shut off our boilers for heat, and it was 40* in the house! When I called the electric company to get it turned back on the told me Twin City hadn't had their work inspected from the town so we could not get it turned back on. I called the owner Mike Friday and Saturday with NO response, finally on Sunday when I left and irate voicemail he called back and came to the house and said it was an oversight by his office... instead of appropriately fixing the problem, he ILLEGALLY cut off the lock out tag from National Grid, and asked us to keep it quiet. We had over $5500.00 in damages that our insurance claim denied because the service had been turned off due to the negligence of Mike Murphy and his company. While we were doing repairs and working with our insurance, Mr Murphy claimed it was his error, asked our deductible so he could cover it and said if insurance denied our claim he would work it out with us. Once we let him rectify the illegal work he did and get the town inspection, we never heard from him again. Our attorney sent him a letter with the charges and he is now claiming WE were responsible for the inspection! I understand it was an oversight not to get the inspection done, but it was his responsibility and that caused major damage at our property! He is untruthful, unethical, and we will be moving forward with a lawsuit. I hope his conscious will kick in and he will rectify the situation!
