Burlington Coat Factory is always a win in my book. When you walk in, you're always warmly greeted,…read morean unexpected touch in a store with such a bland, fluorescent-lit warehouse-y feel. I prefer it to places like TJ Maxx or Marshall's because it's much more well organized and neat, easier to find exactly what you need. This is a place for bargains, not haute couture. Yoga clothes, casual knock-about clothes (for women) are what I mainly buy there, currently. We also got three pair of casual mens' shorts for under $30. Mens' clothing tends to run toward brands like Sean John, Rocawear, Fubu, etc., which is not exactly our genre, but they do have lots of other choices. They are also a great place to buy pet beds--a huge selection and ridiculously low prices. Check out their clearance sections first. Most of my coats have come from here as well. They have everything from the cheapest to really nice ones, a huuuuuge selection. Four stars just because of the aforementioned lack of attractive atmosphere.

A few months ago I bought a guess winter jacket from you, Im on SSDI and had to put the $50 jacket…read moreon layaway, I did this at the 2025 Zeier Rd Madison WI store. Within a few days the zipper on the jacket broke. So I went back and bought another jacket. Well yesterday the zipper broke again, I reached out to your corporate office and explained m situation, they told me to go to the store, explain the situation and have the jacket exchanged. So I went into the store, went up to the counter and asked for a manager, a tall white woman with brown hair told me she was the manager. I explained the situation and she told me to go get another jacket and they would exchange it. So I did, when I went back up to the counter she started making up all these excuses why she couldn't exchange it. At this point I told her to use my phone number and look up the 2 different purchases I made for the jacket. She started lying and told me that your HR department cleared all the receipts which I know for a fact is a lie. Then another woman, a hispanic manager came up and humiliated me in front of at least 6 people. She touched the jacket and huffed, well its worn, OBVIOUSLY IT WAS WORN. Then they both refused to give me my receipt OR THE zipper that broke off my jacket. I was almost in tears to I left, I went out to my car and called your office back and the woman said someone would call me back and no one did. This is so far out of line! I don't have a winter jacket now and it's the middle of January in Wisconsin. I want the coat exchanged and these woman need to talked to about how to handle situations like this. THIS IS BURLINGTON COAT FACTORY! Not Rodeo DR ! The way I was treated and left without a winter jacket is appalling.

Whenever I come to target, I always end up getting 3 more things than I originally planned on…read moregetting. For instance, I could come in just to get some towels and a trash can, but also leave with 2 DVD's, a few pillows, and a bunch of snacks. I love the location of this target for being so close to Hilldale. I can go there for lunch, and then stop by target to get some household items. I like the fact there is an escalator to get up to the store, and you get a great view of University Ave. The layout of the store is also phenomenal. You can find clothing and cosmetics in the front of the store, and the electronics and toys are in the back of the store. To finding towels, trash cans, and home decor, you can find it in the smack dab in the middle of the store. There is a bounty of parking underneath the store, and there is always a parking spot. Even on the busiest days, the lines never really seem to be that long except during back to school season.

I went to the store for the first time in a while and interacted with the rudest manager, watched her completely ignore her employee who talked to her and then heard another manager on a walkie talkie be incredibly rude while the check out person was helping me. What happened?? They used to have a happy go lucky kind of guy who was so nice and welcoming rather than scolding and biting managers who degrade their employees. There are still great people who work here, but the managers and the vibe of the store and customer care went from the best in town to the worst. I was so sad to see miserable employees who used to be happier. There were piles of stuff around the store blocking displays, Black Friday prep I imagine? It was not like that in years prior. I ordered at Starbucks and it took a pretty long time to get a tall latte, I really don't think I'll be back to the store as a customer -- the managers are driving people online and killing the store. I might as well go to Walmart with lower prices.

I hate shopping for clothes (as in almost an anxiety attack hate), but the sweet sales ladies made me feel welcome. This was my 3rd store on a "mission to find" outfit for family photos a few days from now. No pressure!! It's the middle of July and they had nearly all Fall/Winter items so no luck on my mission HOWEVER I did get a couple Fall tops. Very cute & I was given awesome info about upcoming sales. Very kind staff and the AC was nice & cool, fans in the dressing rooms! Like I said, my 1st stop next time!

It appeals to so many different women of all different style preferences. I have been able to find so many of my staple wardrobe pieces here, I just love it. The staff here is typically equally amazing. They are attentive, help you with sizing, whatever you need! Last time I was in, one of the sales associates seemed less than thrilled to be working... Everyone has bad days now and then, though, so I won't hold it against her. The other two were very sweet. There's usually a pretty decent clearance section if you're willing to dig through - it's definitely worth it! On top of cute clothing, they also have accessories and shoes. It's a one stop shop!
