Used to be delicious, but like other reviewers have said - certainly has gone downhill. Service is less than exceptional. It seems like the waitresses don't really want to be there. I lived in Jermyn, so this was a place we frequently both dined in and ordered out simply due to convenience. The food is pricy for what you're getting. It usually tastes okay, but not for the price you pay. You can get the same items but better for less if you drive a mile in any direction past the Windsor. Once a landmark in the area, it's sad to see how downhill they have gone. I truly think it's an issue of the staff. Food quality is inconsistent, and as I previously mentioned, it's hard to enjoy your meal when the waitress makes it feel like she's being held there against her will. This is an ongoing issue over several occasions, including (even especially, actually) for takeout orders. read more

Their wing sauce used to be so great. It's still good but they barely put any on the wings anymore. Ask for extra sauce. It's a shame that you'll be charged extra for it. read more

Ok things have gotten better here ! A lot better they are trying new food and on Thursday and Friday they have a lunch buffet and it's not bad serves got better more friendly so al I can say is management step up and fixed the problems from the past !! GOOD JOB !!! Well done read more

This is the place for the best hot wings in Pennsylvania, maybe even in the United States too. They make them fresh, and they make them in any level of hot that you'll want. I remember when I was a kid, the place would be packed everyday when I traveled from my home in Central New Jersey to visit my grandmother in Jermyn. I only gave this place one star because zero is not an option! On 3/25/18 traveled almost an hour to go to this place because it was recommended, and I've never been soo disappointed in my whole life! I walked into this place, the woman had just served someone food, and me and my girlfriend asked for a menu, and they told us the kitchen was closed! After they just served food right in front of us to another customer!!! My girlfriend told me they definitely gave her dirty looks because she is African American, and I feel the same way! The two white women working the place, one younger and one older WOULD NOT SERVE ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE SHE WAS BLACK!!! I'm a white guy who dates and African woman, and this is absolutely disgusting that people STILL act this way!!! I can see why their other location went out of business! This one deserves to also!!! One star is definitely too high of a rating for this place . Their prices are way out of line for what you get , the food is mediocre at best . The staff is not competent, we have avoided going here or ordering takeout for several years and after the exotic had yesterday , I was reminded why we don't patronize Windsor Inn . I don't make a habit of writing reviews unless my feelings are strong whether positive or negative. In this case, before bashing them in a review, I reached out to the owner via email to shed light on the awful experience my husband and 12-year-old son had. I was away for the weekend and my husband wanted to take our son to his favorite place, the "Windsor". They walked in, no one greeted them, no one acknowledged them not even to say we will be with you shortly, so they stood waiting to be seated. Yes it was busy. During that time, a couple came in behind them. The man was obnoxious and impatient and after badgering the bartender was able to be seated. My husband and son still holding up the wall. Ultimately, they walked out vowing never to return. I did receive an email back but rather than an apology, what I got was a ton of excuses and a snarky lecture on small businesses. He even threw in a random verbal attack on the governor. We are huge supporters of small businesses and I am fully aware of the current struggles, but that is not an excuse for ignorance. As disconnected as the staff was, the response I received from the owner was obnoxious, condescending and unfortunately nothing more than a bucket of excuses and justification of the staffs behavior. The world is in a knot right now and many people are facing uncertainty, however in this case, ignorance is the virus. One bad experience doesn't define an establishment. The attitude of an owner and/or management speaks volume. In this case, it was the perfect storm. To say the least it was huge disappointment and we will not be returning. read more

Wings are great, careful if you order anything else. Last night I ordered wing nuts and mac and cheese. It was terrible! I complained to the staff right away, no one cared! When they brought the bill they gave me 10 percent off my dinner that was so bad i couldn't eat! I expressed my dissatisfaction. Again no one cared. I paid the bill, for a meal i didn't eat and left. If you are in the mood for great wings and friendly service .... GO ELSEWHERE! Wings are small, devoid of meat and puddled in an unpleasant sauce. Service is spectacularly inattentive and unfriendly. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and was very satisfied. I am happy they put the dressing on the side as I didn't need it because the salad had much flavor. I was in the area with a bunch of golf buddies and we stopped in for the world famous hot wings. There was a great crowd in the bar/restaurant - enjoying all of the pre-season NFL games on the numerous TV's, but most were watching the big high school football game between local rivals. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. On the advice of one of the regulars, we tried the "Warsaw Wings" (buffalo style pierogies) and they were awesome. Of course, we then had to try a variety of wings flavors and none disappointed! I particularly liked the Thai-Chili, the BBQ, and the plain Hot. The service was great. (Tom and Theresa really took care of us!) I would strongly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for great wings and a casual, warm "local" feel. I will be back! read more

Tasteless mild wings. Absolutely no tang or flavor at all. The kids were stealing my super hot wings (which cost more but I can't figure out why) because they had a little more flavor and really were not hot at all. They nickle and dime you to death with the extras that are free at other places and the food is for people who really enjoy the blandest food on earth. The cheese and gravy fries were mostly cheese with very little gravy or fries. Some one ordered the bucket of fries and the bucket was so small I had to laugh. A small cup of coffee might actually be bigger than it. I really used to enjoy this place, but I will no go back. read more

Stopped in here last time I was in PA, and by stopped in, I mean I drove 3 hours just to try the wings. The menu had some interesting items. I tried the Warsaw wings, which sounded like an amazing idea, but they weren't as great as I had hoped. The actually wings on the other hand, were fantastic. Not the best wings I have had, but close. I rate these ahead of those guys in Buffalo. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the entire experience was memorable. How do they have the world's second best chicken wings? It must be a scam or something because they are great, but not the best. Just average and don't stand out. They have a very broad menu of appealing food, which seems a bit overpriced. Service is slow at some moments but are friendly. Decor needs some work, even if they are getting at a wooden decor. Boring and too cluttered. Buffalo wings are fine, but are very small and overpriced. Texture is weird, but the wing itself is quality. Love the sauces that they used and the authentic American flavors they were aiming for. The fried shrimp with cocktail sauce was very delicious, but lack detail of flavorful ingredients. The overall plating was sloppy. Shrimp were tender and cooked perfectly. I don't know if they made their own cocktail sauce or if it was bottled, but it tasted all right. Love to come here when we are up in the area, but not a fantastic place. read more

This is another place I frequent. The Warsaw wings are too die for especially with an ice cold beer at the bar. The bartender Trish is my favorite - she makes a killer signature drink. I grew up in the area and always enjoyed going to the windsor for wings. The price for a single order of tiny wings is a little much for an area that sports many great wing places. The rest of the Menu seems to be the same as it has been for 30 years .The dining room is also dated and crowded and the servers always seem scrambling . I wish them luck and hope they put their own touch on the place because same ole same ole is not always best. read more

At one time the Windsor had the best Wings around but they can be inconsistent currently, probably depends on who is making them. Listen the Wings won't disappoint even on a bad night but IMO the Windsor prices are too high . read more
