I was with my friend, shopping for our SENIOR YEAR prom dresses, and we have never felt so disrespected in our lives. We walked in and found an associate ( we did not get her name) who was at the register and we asked if the store had a certain style dress. The associate said yes in a very sweet tone, but then looked up at us and her attitude immediately changed. She said she needed the dress number (which is reasonable) but the way in which she asked was very rude. I was on the website looking for the number, and the associate continued to help other guests. When she finished the others, she told us that she did not have all day, which is incredibly unprofessional. Despite the disrespect, we continued to look for dresses. She then found the dress my friend desired but in blue (which was ok) and asked for her size. We told her she was a large and occasionally an extra large. She then had the audacity to roll her eyes and then say "we might not carry that size " and THEN SAID "and you probably won't even fit into a medium". The way in which she said these words were extremely hurtful and confidence breaking. If we are shopping for our prom dress for our senior year, it should be an exciting experience, not one that brings us down. Despite the disgusting behavior of this associate, we decided to keep our confidence up and keep looking for the perfect dress. Went to this Windsor to try on a dress I saw online, but I didn't like it. Here comes Diana and Vanessa to the rescue! They had the absolutely best customer service. They helped me find a variety of dresses for the occasion to try on and suggested ways to style the dress. They even bared with me as I tried take my final decision. I would highly recommend this store. It was well organized and easy to find dresses with incredible staff. I came here about a week-2weeks ago to find my graduation dress. I wasn't really looking for anything in specific because I'm pretty insecure but the lady that worked there, Dalilah, greeted me in so kind complimenting my hair. I asked her for help and she was so sweet! She made me feel like if I was her cousin or something cause she was just so heart warming. This MY go to store for most of my looks! It's a little bit pricier than forever 21 or Charlotte, but the clothes are tasteful and not tacky at all! You honestly get what you pay for. I came in to get a dress two days before a wedding!! So I was in a rush to find something. Brenda approached me and I immediately told her I was looking for a long black dress. She pulled some from the back and put me in the fitting room. Luckily she found one that was comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. She also helped me with the shoes and jewelry. Had an excellent time shopping at this location. The sales associates were exceptionally helpful. I was able to get a few outfits for my upcoming business trip to Chicago. I was also really happy that the sales associates helped me find some great casual outfits including work clothes. I was extremely impressed with Mariana and Brianna. They were the sales associates that helped me initially then Mayra, the Store Manager started helping with style and it was a fantastic experience, comparable to the level of service I receive from Nordstrom. read more

Called this location after having a horrible experience over the phone with the lakewood location.The young lady who is working tonight over the phone was so helpful looked online for the picture of the dress and placed me on hold told me she would ring up a guest first and grab the dress. She found it placed it on hold multitasked and gave me great customer service over the phone couldn't be more happy I found the dress I have it in blue and must have in black. I haven't shopped at Windsor in years, but recently I fell in love with their clothing and wondered why I ever stopped shopping there. I ordered a dress online, but it turned out to be too small. So I went in store to exchange it..cashier said it would be a few cents extra due to tax differences, which is fine I totally understand. However I got the dress during a sale, and was told it wasn't a sale now and I had to pay the difference. This I have NEVER experienced. I have worked in retail my whole life, and if we are exchanging the exact same item...the price I originally bought it for should be honored. She didn't care to explain why, and I'm not one to ask for managers and make a scene. This is just an odd policy that I haven't experienced with any other retailer. The dress is beautiful which is why I paid the difference, really good quality and unique fit. However I was disappointed having to pay extra for a simple size swap. read more

I am SO disappointed in my recent experience with Windsor. I went to their store location in hopes to find a dress for a formal occasion I have to attend, and I fell in love with a dress. Unfortunately, the store did not have my size, so the associate asked me if I would like to order it online. So, I gave all of my information into the system and the order process kept saying that there was some sort of error. The store associate told me to keep trying and so I continued to enter my information six times, getting more and more frustrated each time because the associate could not fix the issue. Anyway, she told me to call the customer service line and tell them and they would be able to solve the order. Later on that day, I checked my bank balance and realized that Windsor had charged my account THREE TIMES for an order that did not go through, putting my money on their "pending reserves" and wiping my bank account clean. It's safe to say, I was furious. I called customer service once in the morning, they told me that they have not received the payment and that I need to call my bank to release the amounts from their pending transactions back to my account. So I called my bank, and they told me that the money is now in Windsor's possession and I need to call them. SO I CALL THEM AGAIN, and they tell me that the money is actually on their reserves and could not be refunded to me for possibly up to 10 days. I'm a college student on a budget, so I asked if that could be expedited because at this point, I have no money, and they say no. And I ask if there can be any compensation for this because it is the because it is the website's fault that this had happened, and she says no and THREATENS to hang up on me. This is honestly the worst customer service experience I have EVER had with ANY business and it's safe to say that I will no longer be shopping at Windsor, a store I have been shopping at for years. I will also be sure to pass this experience on to all the girls in my sorority to keep them from experiencing the same lack of professionalism from an establishment. read more

Honestly I've been here multiple times and been super disappointed and today was the last straw for me. At this location I feel the customer service is TERRIBLE I'm always waiting so long to be assisted with a dressing room that I just go in myself and even waiting at the register I'm told to hold on. And today I came in to return a dress I had bought online because I bought it in two sizes to see which one fit best and even got expedited shipping ($20+) because I needed it before the weekend. When I got assisted at the register the employee took the dress to another girl and said she couldn't return it because it smelled of perfume and she basically said that I wore it and was trying to return it even though I had all the tags on it and had got it delivered 2 days ago and was keeping the dress that fit me. Tell me why I would wear the dress that doesn't fit me right with the tags on it? She then tried to tell me I could do an exchange, so the dress is good enough for an exchange, but not a return? Mind you it has the original tags and receipt. The entire time she was giving HUGE attitude! I'm sorry my house and body are cleanly and smell nice, if the dress smelled like ass it'd be a different story. Oh and if you go to this location you probably shouldn't wear any perfume if you're going to try anything on in their dressing rooms because then it's "unsellable". I literally was about to undress in the fitting room in front of the registers and this tall blonde/caucasian sales associate pulls open my curtain and asks how many items I have THEN states "someone was ahead of you in line." I had no choice but to leave the fitting room bc she was so rude and intrusive. To top off the person that was "ahead of me" was off shopping still. This store is clearly a high volume windsor and has low standards of customer service. LEARN TO TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON HOW TO COMMUNICATE AND BE POLITE. The only person who was genuinely nice was Vanessa. She offered to open the other fitting rooms with the doors at the back area of the store. Not everyone is a "yellow tag" windsor. I have been coming to Windsors for as long as I can remember, loved getting my dresses here for dances and events! I went in yesterday trying to find at least a black dress, I was looking around, but couldn't really find anything. Long sleeves are my thing, an associate named Vanessa had asked if I needed help and what I was shopping for. I told her just for an event, and she led me to this beautiful black lace dress, and it was everything I had been looking for! It was such a beautiful dress and I didn't even see it! But thanks to Vanessa, she showed me it and I fell in love, I ended up purchasing it because I could not leave without it. I have never had a problem at Windsors, the employees are always nice and friendly, if I have to say one thing is that my 10% came in my email late but that's not their fault haha, love this place! My Daughter was getting ready for her Prom when her dress ripped, she was devastated. I called The Windsor at Cerrito's and they told me to bring her in. Once we were there we were met by Mayra the store manager. Mayra had to rip the dress off my Daughter to get it off. She then proceeded to search the store for another dress. She was able to find a dress and since the new dress had a silver theme and the old dress was gold, we now needed all silver accessories which Mayra was able to pull together. Can't thank Mayra enough for making my Daughters Prom a night she will never forget... read more

Horrible service. I only went because I had to look for a dress to try on for a wedding (the bridesmaid dress) and the associates were rude. I actually never found the dress in my size to try on...right before leaving, one of the associates had the nerve to be like "excuse me, excuse me" (in a rude tone) asking where we placed a dress...uh, isn't it your job to make the store nice? I didn't even try on a dress! The second time I went, a few days later, I actually found the dress in my size...and I ask for assistance from an associate, she automatically assumed that my party and I were shopping for homecoming or winter formal dresses. She told us that we had a one dress limit for trying on at the dressing room?!?! Who are you?!?! And that girl had the nerve to go around other customers saying that mention my name at the register...wow, I would only mention your name because ya'll were so damn rude. Went shopping tonight (11/7/14) (my mom and baby sis), we were looking for dresses for my sister's 21st birthday Vegas trip. Windsor was the last store I was able to convince my sister to go into. She didn't think she would find anything in there; little did she know, she found two amazing dresses! The girls working there were super friendly and so accommodating. There were quite a few people in there and I think it was just two of them, however, they seemed to have given phenomenal customer service to every shopper in the store. They were very attentive to us but not too much to where you feel like they're just following you around the entire store. One of the dresses my sister liked had some damage to it and one of the girls jumped on the computer to find it at another Windsor. While she was on the phone waiting for the other store to confirm, she was still multitasking -- searching for other things and ringing people up.
