I agree that Windowsmith is overpriced, though I've always thought their work was good. They are also very fast. I had been putting off getting the windows washed long enough and one morning at 6:30 (I'm an early riser) I called to leave a message and Rob answered the phone! He was pleasant, professional and answered all of my questions. Based on a description of the home, Rob gave me a quick estimate and we scheduled for the following week at 7am (as a morning person, they were able to accommodate). The crew arrived at 6:55am ready to work. Crissy, Emily and Nick were FANTASTIC! They did a great job, quickly and efficiently. Crissy also took the time to explain where we had some tiny paint spatters and how to easily and safely remove them. I couldn't even see them but she knew where they were and pointed them out! She also noted one window upstairs that had a break in the seal and wanted me to know. I would have never known what that was (it was so small and I never noticed it before) and I was glad she pointed it out. They also did all the screens and fixed one of my screens that I had had a problem putting back in correctly. They were amazing and I can't thank them enough. I talked the owner to get an estimate after seeing the flyer. He immediately pointed out that I am not going to get the price in the flyer since the price quoted there is "from". When I mentioned the square footage, he immediately cuts me and say it will be double the price in the flyer. After I told him that I got a quote less than that, he was rude and immediately hung up the phone without even asking what was the quote. Seemed not interested in giving me a quote. read more

I have a two story 2850 sq. ft. house and they completed the job in less than two hours.  They also cleaned the screens which a lot of window cleaning companies do not do.  They were meticulous in cleaning up and left no drips or soils on my carpets. I called for an appointment on a Tuesday and several days before they called to move it up to the Saturday before. I agreed and was told the hours of 10-12 they would arrive. They never arrived so I called the office and they had the time of 11-1 pm but he called the workers and they said their form had the hours between 1-3 pm! So I waited a long time but they did do a good job. They took three screens to fix and said they would be 30 a piece and free delivery and installation. I get called on Tuesday that the screens are ready and will deliver from 330-530 pm. They then said the price was 120 not 90 for all three. Top it off I waited again for nothing get a call at 6 pm that they can't deliver screens. They would not help with price of the screens for any sacrifice of my time ! Very professional indeed. All the employees wear the same uniforms, and work very hard to make your windows look clean. I will definitely use them again. I would suggest getting your windows cleaned after the heavy rain season in April or May to enjoy the rest of the year until Winter comes around the corner again. Print out the coupon for getting your screens cleaned for free, which is a nice incentive as well. Tipping is a nice touch considering the work and professionalism you receive. The only thing I noticed that they forgot to do was clean my garage windows, and one of my hanging lights that I requested to be clean. They may have been overwhelmed with all my windows, so I ended up cleaning them myself after they left. This is the second time I've used Windowsmith's. I was pleased the first time and am just as happy this time around. Jordan and Ivan showed up promptly at 7am. They were very professional in identifying themselves and greeting my husband and me. I had 2 requests (I still had a child and husband to get out the door!), and the gentlemen assured me those requests wouldn't be an issue. Other than having clean windows, you could hardly tell they were in my home! And the bonus? I have aging screens with holes.
