Large selection, quality and competitive prices, which led me to select Window World for shades in my home. Jennifer was very patient and helpful with my selection. I am extremely satisfied and feel that I got a lot more than what I paid. The technicians took extra precautions to ensure that the shade would not interfere with the opening/closing of the jealousies. Delivery and installation was prompt and professionally done. I was very impressed with the extra effort the installers made to satisfy me, because I am very particular on workmanship. Terrible experience working with these people. They're difficult to get a hold of and don't return calls. They ended up initially installing the wrong blinds their first go around and had to come back another day to redo everything. They've scratched up our walls with the install. They installed the blinds over one of our vents so now every time we need to clean out that vent, we have to call them to take down the blinds so we can get access. I've taken off so many vacation days just to wait around for these people. And their blinds keep breaking on us! We went with the recommended top of the line solar blinds (~$10k), and my main question was 'what happens if they break?'. They said 'just call us and we'll take care of it'. Sure. We have to pay at least $100 every time they come out to fix something that shouldn't be breaking every few months. read more

Our organization has used Window World for a fairly large install of blackout curtains twice now and could not be more pleased. Their pricing is extremely competitive, Tanner Botts was incredibly professional and very pleasant to work with. I've been working with Byron since our very first place in 2010. Since then he's helped us with our next 2 place, making it beautiful with their custom window dressings and installation. Our first 2 place we did custom black out curtains. Our current place we decided on shades. Through all the projects Byron was not only the professional, he became our friend. He has such a great aura about him. He answered all my questions, he makes great suggestions with his artistic eye. Bryon also helped us make couch pillows to match our curtains since I picked a weird color curtain, it was hard to find pillows that matched. That was soo awesome! My next project I want to reupholster my large ottomon that's falling apart. They do it all! I'm grateful to have Byron and Window world in my life. Loyal customer for life! read more

Very poor customer service. Left several messages for Terry over the span of a couple of weeks She never returned my calls. Finally I got so upset and asked the guy who answered the phone to let me talk to the owner. He said Terry is the owner, I almost fell off the chair. Finally I showed up to her office in person. The first thing she said to me before I opened my mouth was "Don't yell at me". If I did not make more than 50% deposit for my order, I would have canceled the whole thing. I will never ever do business with Window World again. I don't even understand how this business can exist with rotten attitude starting from the owner. read more

I have used Window World a number of times for both installation and repairs, only because they were the installers of materials for my condo. I have had nothing but negative experiences with the company from the sales office and especially from installers. They don't keep appointments, are surly to the point of rude, and couldn't care less about customer service. One time I called them back to correct a mistake made and they insisted that I pay for an additional return service fee. They required me to pay an outrageous amount for a service call,IN ADVANCE, or would not come out. Very poorly run company. Ray read more

I had motorized shades installed in my condominium. From start to finish the process took about three weeks and was suprisingly affordable. Everyone I dealt with was pleasant and professional and they had answers for my (many) questions. Overall it was a good buying experience and I will recommend them to my friends. read more

The entire team at Window World really worked together great! More than 6 years ago, they had installed a motorized awning on our lanai, then the motor needed to be replaced which they completed within 2 weeks of contacting them. When the windy days produced a squeaky sound which I attributed to the new motor, they all worked together to fit us into their schedule to check out the noise. They easily discovered it was not from the motor but from another source not related to the awning. Worst quality in their product manufacturing, horrible customer service and follow-up. I am currently in the midst of trying to get them to schedule and complete my 3rd reinstallation of the blinds that I'd purchased through Abbey Carpet. The blinds/shades were not cut to the proper size of my windows, the valences were bowed with the fascia material on them was wrinkled and bubbling and then the glued seams at the bottoms fell apart and the weighted bars fell out on my floor. These were brand new! Could not imagine a more unacceptably low quality level of fabrication and installation. They were completely unapologetic and it has been a time wasting nightmare to get them to respond to my calls (Terrie the owner and Emily their sales person). I am going on 6 months of dealing with this and still waiting for the shades to be repaired and reinstalled. This situation with Window World and Abbey Carpet has caused me to have to take quite a few days off from work in order to wait around for their installers and to have them come out repeatedly to assess the problems they have caused. They only schedule at their convenience, not the customer's... Please beware and do not use either of these companies unless you enjoy major hassles, wasted time and money and being blown off constantly. **as a side note, Roy, Abbey's GM has been trying his best to help me to get this resolved through Window World, but it appears that he is getting pretty much blown off by Window World's owner, Terrie. Crazy that this is how she runs a business and can continue without going bankrupt. read more

My drapery work was contracted to this company. After spending lots of money to get my ideal drapes: Very poor workmanship. Bad attitude/total lack of customer service skills. I was made to feel like it was my fault that the workmanship was awful and the drapes had to go back for repairs. Patiently waited 3 months for repairs to brand new drapes. No follow up calls in between/I had to call for updates. Drapes came back/minimal improvement/still poor workmanship. Drapes sent to someone else to try to fix, but damage done, unable to fix. Three months after last attempt to fix, drapes still look bad. This company is bad news.
