Wylie and Adam came to our condo and gave us an estimate on replacing our old vertical blinds. They provided choices of blinds and pricing, and after we made our decision, took measurements and gave us a timeline for delivery. The installation went smoothly. Our new blinds really spruced up our living room. We're very happy we chose Oahu Blinds and can highly recommend their services. Thank you, Wylie and Adam, for your honest appraisal and great product. read more

Wylie was amazing! He helped me in a jam (literally!). One of the motorized blinds on a huge sliding door area was not rolling up properly and became stuck halfway through. Wylie talked me thru on the phone to get the screen up, but we soon realized by the sound it would not roll up or down without it getting stuck again. Just the kindness to talk over the phone to fix the problem was generous. I insisted if he could come physically come over and adjust it because they were on daily timers. Wylie and his assistant came out the same day! I highly recommend Wylie for his helpful demeanor on the phone and his quick response to my dilemma! Many Mahalos!!! read more

After several years since purchasing, we had a problem after the window cleaning person got the blind all hammajang. A quick txt to Oahu Blinds and they stopped by and fixed it with a problem or issue. Excellent customer service! read more

We love working with Wiley. Over the years, he has installed our blinds for almost every room in our house. He has also fixed blinds if they have issues. Wiley is kind, professional, and makes the whole process easy for the customer. I didn't know much about blinds, but he patiently described the various styles and the pros and cons. He never pressures a sale. Wiley will be our go-to blinds guy for as long as he's in business! read more

Amazing job. Professional. Detail oriented, which I love. Very easy to work with. On time instillation. High quality product.

I needed new window coverings on eight large bay windows in my living room. Especially in the summer months, the room can be very bright, blinding and hot. I researched several companies through Yelp and ended up calling Oahu Blinds. I made an appointment with Wylie who showed up on time and provided excellent service. He helped me pick it out Hunter Douglas shades that would be appropriate for my large bay windows. He was also very honest with pricing. I decided to go with the Hunter Douglas shades. He measured my windows twice, since the shades are custom-made. He informed me that they would take approximately two weeks to come in as they come from the mainland. Two weeks later I received a call from him that my blinds have arrived. His coworker came and installed them. The shades look great and the living room is much cooler. I would definitely use this company again if I ever needed window coverings in the future. read more

We needed to purchase blinds for our new two bedroom condo and our realtor recommended Wylie's company, and we were extremely pleased with his knowledge, pleasant demeanor and workmanship. We ended up choosing Hunter Douglas Pirouette black out shades after considering multiple options. With the late afternoon summer sun heating up our windows to 90+ degrees, the shades allow privacy along with excellent visibility when open. While our blinds were in the manufacturing process, Wylie kept us updated on their status and on the day of installation he showed up early and installed the blinds. My wife and I highly recommend Wiley to anyone looking to install shades in their home or office!! read more

I would absolutely recommend Wylie! We weren't 100% sure what we wanted for our super sunny (hot!) corner condo, but we knew we wanted window treatments that helped keep us cool, but also opened easily to enjoy our views. Wylie's recommendations were spot on. He and his assistant, Adam, showed up on time, ready to work, consulted/explained as they went and had the job complete in under 3 hours. It was a substantial investment for us, but completely worth it! It has modernized/upgraded the look of our condo and keeps us cool. Fashion meets function. We are very satisfied. read more

OAUH BLINDS CHANGED MY LIFE I have five small windows in my kitchen. Every afternoon at the precise time I am prepping for dinner, I am almost blinded by the sun. It is so annoying. I called Oahu Blinds. WIley and Chris showed up on time, neat, friendly, they brought a catalog of blind options. They measured and gave me a quote. One week or so later the blinds were installed. The installation was perfect. I LOVE my blinds. Harmony has been restored to the kitchen. I was a bit sad when when the job was over; it was such a positive experience. I guess I'll have to look around for some more offensive windows. Thanks guys! read more

Highly recommend this company! I had a home-visit consultation by Oahu Blinds and another company. I also got a third quote to price compare... Oahu blinds offered the most affordable price and best warranty, so I chose Oahu Blinds to install plantation shutters We especially liked their vinyl plantation shutters. Wylie offered us a huge price break on the vinyl shutters because he got a discount from the manufacturer -- I appreciated his honesty and integrity of passing the discount on to us. If anything breaks on our shutters, Wylie will come back and fix it for free. I really liked this, especially since we have two rough and tumble kids bouncing around the house. Wylie was also very punctual on both of his appointments (consultation and installation), and did a fantastic job on the installation! read more

One of the few house projects that I have ever done that was easy without any glitches. WIley, the owner, worked to schedule around MY life, and then he was a pleasure to work with. He had excellent suggestions to save money but kept the look we wanted. Then installation day was even better than we hoped or imagined. Having him do our second home in Molokai too now! We HIGHLY recommend Oahu Blinds and Wiley. read more

Excellent service, product, installation, and value. Wylie and Chris were on time every time, knowledgeable, friendly, and sticklers for doing things right. They weren't pushing any particular product, but showed us a range and steered us professionally to what we all agreed would be best for our installation. Our large windows face west and are a heat and light challenge; the fabric and hardware that Wylie and Chris installed work very well to block both direct light and heat--and we have used them in the middle of a hot summer. We went with motorized blinds on most of the windows, and we love the system; the installation was clean and tight, with power cords hardly visible. Nice work. When the shades arrived, Wylie actually rejected two that weren't quite right and had them re-done at no cost. We are very pleased with Oahu Blinds and will certainly consider/use them in the future. Strongly recommend, and I rarely strongly recommend anything. read more

The most professional, reliable, and accomplished company we've ever done business with. We live in a high-rise condo with floor-to-ceiling windows throughout every room in the unit. It gets bright in here and we needed shades -- but we didn't want to block the great view. So we called Wylie at Oahu Blinds. He was helpful right from that first conversation. We made an appointment for him to come look at the condo. He came exactly on-time, brought up sample ideas, gave us suggestions, gave us an estimate, ordered the solar shades, and came yesterday to install them. We love our new solar shades! The quality of his work is so appreciated, and we want to recommend Oahu Blinds to everyone! So thankful for Wylie! read more

Fast service, excellent install and great follow up. We could not ask for more! Wiley helped us select blinds for our home and they are perfect. We will use them again when we are ready to do the rest of the house. read more

Oahu Blinds is a stellar company. Wiley has been amazing from the beginning to the end. He was such a pleasure to work with. He was always quick to respond, very transparent, and extremely accommodating. The blinds were very beautiful and affordable. The installer was very efficient and fast. I was recommended to this company by a friend who recently installed blinds and had a great experience. I needed treatment for 42 windows. When I called, Wiley came out right away and gave me several options and quotes on the spot. He even gave suggestions on the functionality of the blinds set up that I didnt think about prior. I planned to paint the interior of my home first and timed for the blinds to be installed immediately after. The painters ran into issues, forcing me to reschedule with Wiley...not once...but twice. I felt so bad, but Wiley was very understanding and accommodating. The blinds were installed in several hours with no hiccups. He even followed up the next day to see how I liked the blinds and gave tips to preserve the life of the blinds. This has been a top notch experience and I recommend this company to anyone who needs window treatments. Thank you Wiley for everything!!! read more

Wylie Ball of Oahu Blinds is excellent: punctual, transparent, and reliable. He picked up my call and came by first thing the following morning to inspect a few motorized blinds that fell out of position. He promptly diagnosed the problem, ordered replacement parts from the mainland, and was very transparent with pricing. The service Wylie provided throughout was fantastic, listening to all of our questions and concerns, and providing detailed explanations of procedures, parts, mechanisms, etc. He even realigned and lubed blinds that were making screeching sounds. If you are looking for best provider of blinds and service on Oahu, the only guy you need to work with is Wylie. By the way, our initial installer of motorized blinds was Window World - what a disaster of a company. We had no control over this as our new building's developer selected them as our vendor. During the ordering process, they were responsive, but once payment was made, they showed their true colors: horrible response times and bad customer service. They overcharged, their workmanship poor, and their turnaround was one week just to schedule an appointment to inspect our blinds! The bottom line: If you need new blinds or help with existing ones on Oahu, go with Wylie from Oahu Blinds period!! read more

We recently purchased a new home and within 8 months one of our three existing blinds (motorized Hunter Douglass) went kaput. Called Wiley at Oahu blinds for his recommendation. He said we could easily pull the blind down and take it to the factory for repair, but we decided to replace them and also have some additional rooms upgraded with honeycomb black-out blinds versus the existing big box store cheap blinds that have been starting to break and malfunction. We are very pleased with the quality of products, turn around, professionalism and service! read more

It's taken me a little while to finally write this review. Wylie and Chris are awesome! From the first time I spoke with Wylie on the phone till my plantation shutters were installed, they were nothing but professional and personable. Even when one of my dogs almost bit Chris, he just laughed it off and went about finishing everything. I am going to be installing more shutters soon and they are the only ones I will be calling. The shutters have worked out perfectly. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but very functional and easy to care for. I highly recommend them! read more

2 brothers Wiley and Chris. Love them. Excellent customer service, exemplary product. Professional installation. They show up on time every time. They exceeded expectations on every level. Thanks guys, you work hard and love what you do, it shows!! read more

Wylie and Chris was my choice after getting 2 other estimates. They are very professional, perfectionist, friendly, easy to work with, & will give you ideas on different "looks" that you might not of considered. They just completed my lvrm and dining rm installation and I am more than pleased. They did a final walk w me and corrected everything that my critical eye saw. Which btw was so minimal. Just a few screws that needed tightening to make me happy..... seriously. I highly recommend Oahu Blinds, Wylie and Chris, for any window covering. No regrets and highly pleased. read more

Again, I have to give Wylie and Oahu Blinds a 5 star review. We bought our plantation shutters from him four years ago. We recently had our house leveled and my shutters would not shut due to the work. I called Wylie, he quickly returned my call, and scheduled an appointment to come out and fix them. My shutters are level again! Yay! Wylie was on-time, professional and still patient with our dog! He would not accept payment, but I insisted as it took him some time to get it worked out and I appreciated his quick response and follow-up. read more

My husband and I purchased blinds from Wiley several months ago. His service was amazing!! He recommended the blinds that would work best in our townhouse, gave us an excellent quote and he was exceedingly punctual with the installation. We recently had custom plantation shutters installed in our house - purchased and installed through Oahu Blinds. We are very happy with the outcome! The owner and his business partner were very professional, came on time to the appointments, were very responsive to our questions and did a fabulous job all around. We didn't get quotes from other local companies for comparison, but after looking online the pricing seems fair and competitive. Highly recommend this company based on our experience. read more

Highly recommend Oahu Blinds!!! From the consultation to the install, Wylie and his brother were professional, knowledgeable and accurate. Pricing was reasonable and their thoroughness in assisting us in selecting the right window covering solutions for our home. During the ordering process they took care in triple checking their measurements for each each window, confirming what we wanted, explaining the detailed order request and providing a no surprise quote with expected timing for the install. The customer service we received was definitely 5 stars - exceptional. We will definitely use them again for a second home we have in the area. Thank you Oahu Blinds. read more

Wylie recently installed high quality competitively priced Plantation Shutters at our home in Kailua. Wylie is truly proficient in his craft and is someone we were very comfortable having work inside our home. He stands behind his work and you can tell that he truly loves his job and wants his customers to be 100% satisfied. He measured, ordered and installed our shutters in a timely way and kept in touch with us during the whole process. My wife is Very Happy with the quality of the Shutters and the accuracy of the installation. Wylie came to our house with samples of the shutters and the choices available and we felt very comfortable choosing him from the other companies on the island. His 5 star Yelp reviews are well deserved! read more

Great service and quality work. Wylie and Chris came on a Saturday as scheduled to show us their products and made great recommendation about plantation shutters. They gave us the different options and did not pressure us in any way to buy a particular product. They also showed us pictures of the shutters in other homes via their iPad. When the shutters arrived, they came on our requested date promptly at 9am. They removed our old blinds and installed the new shutters perfectly. I will definitely use them again to install shutters in the other windows. read more
