Daryl is super easy to work with, very responsive, very helpful and very affordable. I wanted to have plantation shutters installed and was recommended to Daryl by my realtor. I gave Daryl a text asking for a consultation and he showed up the very next day. He took the time to explain all the different designs and options he had and he even brought in-person examples. After we decided which shutters we liked, he took the measurements of each window and by the following day he provided a quote. Also, we inquired with Daryl about installing curtains for our glass sliding door. He mentioned that if we bought all the equipment needed for the curtains, he would install it at no extra charge. That just shows that Daryl really cares about his customers and wants what's best for them. When the shutters arrived, Daryl gave me a call to schedule the installation. His crew showed up right on time and was very friendly, respectful and professional during the installation. They did an awesome job and we're very happy with how things turned out. For anyone in the market for plantation shutters, or any window coverings, I 100% recommend Saiki's Window Designs! Daryl and his crew are awesome people and I'm glad we went with them. read more

I texted the company. Received negative response. I had the company install verticals in my living room and master bedroom. The verticals lasted 23 years. I thought I would give them a try again. Unfortunately customer service is poor. Not recommended. read more

Saiki's came highly recommended. I called for a estimate and made an in house appointment for Daryl to take measurements for shutters. He came on time and was very pleasant to talk with. Hes a really humble nice man and knew what he was talking about. The shutters came late. (Cause of covid ugh! Ruins everything) But as soon as it came in, he asked if we were free for an install. I said, YES!! We are!! Install day came and his boys came on time. Matt (Daryl's nephew) and i forget the other gentleman's name. Darren i think. Anyway, they were very respectful of our home overall nice guys. We put shutters on all 10 windows and It came out beautiful. Daryl gave us the low down on how to open and close each shutter and how to do the routine maintenance. For the dust an such. Overall, the wifey and i are very happy with this purchase and we are glad we went with Saiki'. BTW Daryl not only does shutters. He does vertical and horizontal blinds anything to do with window coverings. You guys need help go see him. You wont regret it. Plus help local businesses. We gotta take care each other. read more

I'd like to thank this owner/business for completely ignoring my voicemail and text message inquiring about a quote. Because you didn't bother contacting me, I kept looking and found an AWESOME business/owner/installer that got the job done quickly and at a reasonable price. Review to come... *In response to yours: I definitely have not mistaken you for another company. Maybe for some reason you didn't get my voicemail, but I also sent a text (please see photo and look at the number). You or someone read it. It looks like you have a lot of happy and satisfied clients, I just didn't get that opportunity. This is my honest experience and review. read more

I'd called around different companies looking for shutters and window coverings, but after talking to Daryl...I trusted him immediately! It's so hard to find someone trustworthy nowadays and we got so luck with Daryl. He's honest, with a fair price, and truly looks to find the best solution for us (instead of what he could make the most money on). When you meet him, I'm sure you'll feel the same way too. He's super nice, friendly, and so good at what he does. He's been in the business forever, so he knows what he's talking about. When it came time for install, Matt and Kamu did an awesome job. We got shutters installed in our master bedroom and roller shades in our office. Everything was nicely installed and cleaned before they left. If I ever have any more window covering needs, I'm only going back to Daryl! Thank you Daryl! read more

Very Professional service from the beginning to the end. Daryl spent a lot of time to make sure each window design is reviewed thoroughly based on our personal needs and sun exposure. Since it's been a while since I have window needs, I have to catch up with the "technology". I literally have to Google the different type of shutter and roller shades available and with Daryl's expertise, I was able to decide on my order. The installation service was also very professional. The crew came on time and they worked smoothly to get them install and cleaned up after themselves. Rates are very competitive for the quality and workmanship. If you have any window needs, please be sure to give Daryl a call! read more

Right from the get-go in contacting Daryl, I had a great feeling about having him install shutters for my home. He was easy to talk to, thorough and very detail-oriented in his explanation of installing shutters. He took the time to answer all of my questions and provided renderings for me to consider the different options for my home. When it came to installing, Daryl and his crew did an AMAZING job. I am so happy with the work Daryl did for me! I found out that many companies don't install shutters in condos because of a wide range of possible problems (elevator size, management permission, liability, blah blah.) Daryl came out to my place to give me an estimate. He was very thorough while measuring and gave me options as far as what kind of installation he could do, product info, etc. He sent the estimate by the end of that same day and immediately I was satisfied with the quote. I sent him a deposit and waited 8 weeks for my shutters to arrive. The same week the shutters arrived, Daryl was able to schedule installation. I live in a condo and I know it wasn't the easiest installation for his team, so I am SO APPRECIATIVE of the hard and great work they did. I would recommend Daryl to everyone!! He was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and overall great product and installation. I am so happy with my investment! read more

Love love love my new beautiful shutters! My bf's parents got theirs done by Daryl and we're so glad we did too. He was always so accommodating and flexible when it came to meeting up with me. The shutters were ready in only a few months! He even did our tint, which looks so awesome! We previously had blinds which I couldn't stand especially on windy days but now I'm so happy we have these shutters and no longer have to worry about that. I also love how much more privacy it provides. Our home looks so much better thanks to Daryl and his team! read more

Very professional. Daryl the owner was there for the installation. Everything was perfectly fitted and installed.

I recently had my windows replaced and upon recommendation from a friend, I called Daryl for an estimate on shutters. He responded quickly and I found him to be friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy and honest. He did not hesitate to answer any questions I had as he went around my home measuring all the windows. Through observation, I could tell he took great pride in his work and was very precise in the measurements. I can't say enough about the excellent workmanship he and his team did. I also had vertical blinds installed on my sliding glass doors and, of course, that too was done beautifully. They even went over and beyond to remove my old drapery and shade tracks above the windows. They are reasonably priced and, yes, accommodating! These window treatments add so much beauty and value to my home. Saiki"s Window Designs to me is THE best in the business. Thanks, Daryl! read more

Daryl Saiki is A1 from beginning to end of this process. I had just purchased my first home and as a brand new homeowner, I wanted to make sure I went with a company that had the knowledge and experience of installing blinds. Daryl fulfilled just that. He is an expert at what he does and educated me about different materials, different motors for the blinds, advised me on what color scheme would go best with my interior, and keeping a keen eye on detail to match exactly what I had in mind. I could not be more happy with my experience and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to Daryl and his team if you need blinds. Thank you again Daryl! read more

We decided to replace our dull old drapes with plantation shutters. A friend recommended this company for quality of work and fair prices. But, we got much more. The shutters, specially ordered from Taiwan, are manufactured to hold up against the Hawaii UV sunlight. In addition, they are made with stainless steel parts for corrosion protection. It has been about one year and the shutters still look brand new. His prices are very competitive and he personally supervises the installation. You will not be disappointed. read more

Mr. Daryl Saiki and his crew installed two shutters that were 14 feet above the floor in our living room (with a cathedral ceiling). During his time spent installing the shutters, he demonstrated his outstanding professionalism in the way he practiced his technical skills and especially his focus on safety to prevent any possible accident or mishap that would cause bodily harm or property damage. Mr. Saiki would articulate each step of the shutter installation to his crew to ensure his knowledge and expertise sets the standard for their respective performance. Every step of the installation process was performed without fault and the shutters worked very smoothly without chaffing and closed flawlessly for an excellent job! I was very impressed with the quality shutters, the demonstrated skills and short time required for the installation. Mr. Saiki even helped with the hanging of a mirror between the newly installed shutters! Outstanding and definitely the best in the field. I highly recommend Saikai's Window Design, Inc.
