I called a day before and was able to make an appointment for the morning. Job was done exceptionally and within 3 hours. Id recommend this place to everyone. Staff was polite, professional, and gave me the confidence of a job well done. read more

Really nice work, got the job done quickly and with friendly customer service. We got the window tinting and chrome delete service for a new Honda Accord and it came out great. read more

I had an Audi A4 fully tinted all around, with their 3M tint, 2nd to darkest. It came out perfect, they were very fast, efficient and while I'm a picky person, I found nothing to nitpick. Very recommendable. read more

Absolutely zero accountability for a poor install. Initially I was quoted over double the amount paid for an install just 24 hours prior. Of course I pushed back, only to wait three hours for tinting to be applied to just two windows. Here's the kicker, the specific instructions were to "match the back windows." I left it to their discretion given that they're the experts (also I own another vehicle of the same model, and had the same two windows tinted to an exact match just the day before). It didn't happen, not even close. So much so that it appears to be a complete waste of effort to have done it in the first place. Don't you hate it when a merchant is evasive and defensive about a mistake instead of simply owning up to the mistake, or even explaining the dilemma? I'm sure that they probably do a lot of great work, but this time not so much. Really made me wish I'd stuck with my previous vendor. read more

If I could give Window Tinting A Plus more than five stars, I would. Hector, Sarah, and everyone at Window Tinting A Plus was super professional and super kind. My window looked perfect and I was in and out in under an hour. My week started with a smashed-for-the-sake-of-smashing smashed window on my car. I know it's not an uncommon occurrence in Oakland, or many places for that matter, but it was depressing and forced me to spend money that I couldn't really afford to have it repaired. Now, after my experience at Window Tinting A Plus, my faith in kindness and humanity has been restored. It's just really rare anymore to find such a people- and community-oriented business. Without going into detail here, they worked with me so that I could restore the window so that it matched the rest of my car. It's the first reasonably nice car I've ever owned, and I really want to keep it looking that way for as long as possible. I highly, highly recommend the folks at Window Tinting A Plus for their excellent work and for being incredibly kind and professional. read more

Windows on my Z look good! Got a good price for ceramic tints from Hector, staff is nice, there's a waiting area to sit while the work is being done they have free wifi for customers. Was told would need 2hrs to complete, only took little over a hour, and like I said my windows look good! read more

I wanted to have some sort of paint protection to my new car Tesla Model Y. I was searching for options to protect both exterior and interior white seats. I did some quick search and decided to work with Window Tinting A Plus. I'm very much impressed with high quality of service, timeliness, responsiveness and great customer service of Hector! His quote was super professional and competitive. His expertise helped me to make the best decision in combination of PPT, ceramic cover to protect both interior and exterior. I live in Half Moon Bay so the Oakland location wasn't very close to me but it was definitely worth for my time to drive up there to get their high quality service. There was a minor fix required in the side mirror, Hector immediately responded and drove to my location to fix. His customer service exceeded my expectations. I encourage my friends and my family to use Window Tinting A Plus. Highly recommended! read more

I had my Tesla MY wrapped by Hector and his crew about a year ago when the car was brand new. They did a great job and were very responsive to my concerns. The wrap is still holding up perfectly and I recommend them highly. read more

Fantastic tinting. Have taken my last 6 cars here. They are the best and the fastest!!!

I chose to cancel the tinting but they asked me $120 just to cancel. I think they are very high priced and not customer friendly. I am never going back nor recommending anyone to this place. I was taken there by my friend and I regret it. There are other cheaper options, so do your research rather than falling for their very high price. I went back after 10 minutes of dropping off the car to confirm the front tint but the guy at the front asked me that was not included and I had to pay $30 extra so I asked if I can cancel the whole tint. At first, he said no charge but when he called his boss he came up with a $120 cancellation fee which compelled me to do the tint despite not being satisfied. You guys are throwing traps to force people to take your service at a much much higher rate than that is available out there. Never go here do your research there are other much cheaper and better options. I paid $250 for the tint which was almost two times expensive for the johnson film compared with other tinting services. read more

They did a really good job on my bmw. Super friendly and fast and at really good prices. I would definitely recommend it. Thank you again!

Hector is very professional at what he does. He gave me a good deal on the ppf which is a lot cheaper comparing to most of the places that I spoke to. Hector even come to my house to fix the ppf and it's not close to his shop. 5 stars. read more

Outstanding quality and service. I tinted a model 3 performance with Llumar 90 on the windshield/driver window and 40 3m crystalline everywhere else. Beautiful result. Model 3's require more technical expertise to tint given the electronics. They had no problems and handled it with the ease. I drove from Saratoga and will be back for my future needs. read more

Had the back window tint removed and replaced, done in a few hours. Price was right, friendly staff quick service.

I've since heard back from the owner and brought my car back to get it fixed. 3rd time is the charm! The owner Hector gave me a small reimbursement to help offset my cost for the time spent there and having to go back multiple times. I was in and out the 3rd time in less than an hour and so far the tint is holding up pretty well. Happy with the results thus far. I appreciate the help and instant reach out when I was unhappy about the results. read more

Euhhhhh! Five years ago, I bought a new car and I wanted to get my windows tinted. A friend recommended this place, and I was able to negotiate a pretty good deal so all went really well. The job was completed and the tints looked great. Fast forward to today... My previously smokey gray colored tints are now BLUE! And, NO I did not use ammonia to wash the inside of the windows. So UGLY! On a more tragic but funny but tragic side note. Back when I first had the tints put onto my car's windows, I ended up recommending this place to another friend. Her car's tinted windows have recently turned BLUE too! read more

I been to many window tinting place and this is best one I find, but they do cost .... and is this ok , you are got getting Quality works and the right Materials, no bait and switch there ! read more

I had my bimmer's rear windows and windshield tinted here. First of all, for those that own BMW's, are very familiar that if you tint the rear windshield, there's a certain technique to tinting around the "dot matrix" area, this place did a horrible job of doing so, now there's bubbling everywhere on the "dot matrix" area of my windshield! I told the guy who worked there when they handed me back my car that it was bubbly and he said it'll go away within 24 hrs....it never did! Also, if you drive a car that sits low, beware of letting them drive your car up the steep ramp! They totally scrapped the bottom of my bumper on the driveway! read more

Had another car tinted there today and again great service for a great price! Aug. 2012 - had 2 cars tinted again by these guys, again great service and a great price. This makes at least 4 cars I have had tinted with them over 4 years and have no complaints! read more

I called yesterday during business hours twice to inquire an appointment. The second time I agreed to a 9am appointment with the lady who picked up the phone. I arrived 20 min early. They don't get here until 9:05 (two women) I went in and they were surprised I had an appointment at 9am. They were very short with me and basically said we can only see you when the manager gets in. Which I get... the person that does the tint is not here. But, if you made a spot for someone you should uphold it. Very unprofessional, I've come here all the time for all my cars and always told my friends to come here to get there car tinted. I won't ever be coming back . I came all the way from Vallejo also manager.... read more

The place may look like it is going out of business/run down place, but it is a great place to get your windows tinted. Since it was not busy at the time I went, both my driver and passenger windows were completed in 30 mins. The results, fast, clean (wiped up the spray use to put the tint on), and no bubbles in the tint. The price was the cheapest around East Bay to the Peninsula at $75. I was going to pay $115 in the city, until I found this joint. I had several of my cars tinted before at other locations but was never satisfied with service, time and price. Lastly, keep the receipt as the sales rep. promise life time guarantee on the tint. read more

These guys are great! They have tinted the back three windows to 5% on my black 07' Altima and they have tinted my rear tail lights so they would look like the GTR and they also blacked out the side-marker lights and put eyelids on my headlights. My car looks nothing like it did when I bought it after these guys finished with it. I plan on going back to have them instal a clear bra on the front end of my car. Believe me when I say these guys know their craft. I have dealt mostly with Ulices and he has made my dreams into reality. He has done absolutely outstanding work on my car every time I have brought it in to him. read more

I was referred to Window Tinting A Plus by a friend. That being said, I went ahead and placed a call to make an appointment. Although my request was last minute, Jose "JR" was able to accommodate me. He gave me a spot on a Friday afternoon. I dropped off my car and went for a quick bite as they would call me once the car was ready. I came back to pick my car up, the tints were well done. They made sure I was satisfied and asked me to take a look at them before paying. I will definitely come here again once I purchase a new Vehicle. read more
