Absolutely zero accountability for a poor install. Initially I was quoted over double the amount paid for an install just 24 hours prior. Of course I pushed back, only to wait three hours for tinting to be applied to just two windows. Here's the kicker, the specific instructions were to "match the back windows." I left it to their discretion given that they're the experts (also I own another vehicle of the same model, and had the same two windows tinted to an exact match just the day before). It didn't happen, not even close. So much so that it appears to be a complete waste of effort to have done it in the first place. Don't you hate it when a merchant is evasive and defensive about a mistake instead of simply owning up to the mistake, or even explaining the dilemma? I'm sure that they probably do a lot of great work, but this time not so much. Really made me wish I'd stuck with my previous vendor. read more

I chose to cancel the tinting but they asked me $120 just to cancel. I think they are very high priced and not customer friendly. I am never going back nor recommending anyone to this place. I was taken there by my friend and I regret it. There are other cheaper options, so do your research rather than falling for their very high price. I went back after 10 minutes of dropping off the car to confirm the front tint but the guy at the front asked me that was not included and I had to pay $30 extra so I asked if I can cancel the whole tint. At first, he said no charge but when he called his boss he came up with a $120 cancellation fee which compelled me to do the tint despite not being satisfied. You guys are throwing traps to force people to take your service at a much much higher rate than that is available out there. Never go here do your research there are other much cheaper and better options. I paid $250 for the tint which was almost two times expensive for the johnson film compared with other tinting services. read more

I called yesterday during business hours twice to inquire an appointment. The second time I agreed to a 9am appointment with the lady who picked up the phone. I arrived 20 min early. They don't get here until 9:05 (two women) I went in and they were surprised I had an appointment at 9am. They were very short with me and basically said we can only see you when the manager gets in. Which I get... the person that does the tint is not here. But, if you made a spot for someone you should uphold it. Euhhhhh! Five years ago, I bought a new car and I wanted to get my windows tinted. A friend recommended this place, and I was able to negotiate a pretty good deal so all went really well. The job was completed and the tints looked great. Fast forward to today... My previously smokey gray colored tints are now BLUE! And, NO I did not use ammonia to wash the inside of the windows. So UGLY! On a more tragic but funny but tragic side note. Back when I first had the tints put onto my car's windows, I ended up recommending this place to another friend. I had my bimmer's rear windows and windshield tinted here. First of all, for those that own BMW's, are very familiar that if you tint the rear windshield, there's a certain technique to tinting around the "dot matrix" area, this place did a horrible job of doing so, now there's bubbling everywhere on the "dot matrix" area of my windshield! I told the guy who worked there when they handed me back my car that it was bubbly and he said it'll go away within 24 hrs....it never did! Since it was not busy at the time I went, both my driver and passenger windows were completed in 30 mins. The results, fast, clean (wiped up the spray use to put the tint on), and no bubbles in the tint. The price was the cheapest around East Bay to the Peninsula at $75. I was going to pay $115 in the city, until I found this joint. I had several of my cars tinted before at other locations but was never satisfied with service, time and price. These guys are great! They have tinted the back three windows to 5% on my black 07' Altima and they have tinted my rear tail lights so they would look like the GTR and they also blacked out the side-marker lights and put eyelids on my headlights. My car looks nothing like it did when I bought it after these guys finished with it. I plan on going back to have them instal a clear bra on the front end of my car. Believe me when I say these guys know their craft. I have dealt mostly with Ulices and he has made my dreams into reality.
