I'm posting this on behalf of my mom. This is her second time using Window Panda to clean the windows. I had the opportunity to meet Anthony when I dropped something off at my mom's house while he was there, and I was impressed with the level of professionalism and courteousness he delivered to my mom. My mom's review: Anthony, the owner of Window Panda has just finished cleaning my windows. He did an excellent job, my windows look beautiful! Anthony's service is very clean, neat and affordable. Window Panda is a fairly new company with Anthony being the sole proprietor. As the owner of the business he conducts himself with professionalism and care and he is passionate about delivering a quality service. If you are looking at this Yelp review, take a minute to check out his video. You will see Anthony himself and everything he says in the video is absolutely true. He takes off his shoes when he comes in the house, he is very careful about the surrounding plants around the perimeter of the house near the windows and is even gracious enough to not let my barking dogs bother him. For those reviews that mention the lag time between calling and setting up an appointment, I did have to book far out. He was apologetic that he oversold on groupon, and he has been overwhelmed with the response. I highly recommend Window Panda. read more

After scheduling with Anthony a few more times, I became increasingly disappointed with his lack of communication when running hours late, cancelling due to rain then never rescheduling, and starting a project he never finished, leaving a mess and multiple tools at my home that he never picked up. The project Window Panda didn't finish was halted when I saw his employee smoking a meth pipe on camera. I was deeply concerned that this employee had been on my very slanted roof multiple times. When I sent the video to Anthony and told him what I saw, he said "I knew it!" Then he mentioned another employee has been arrested for putting hands on his ex. Anthony does not hire quality workers. He cuts corners, lies about reasons for missing appointments, does not return calls asking for reimbursements, and has quite a poor reputation on the island of Alameda. There are quite a few other companies that provide the same services but in a safer, more communicative, and businesslike way. read more

Sharing a review as a buyer beware for any other homeowners considering this vendor. Anthony was initially very responsive and helpful when it came to our project. We had asked to have all of the windows cleaned and then screens replaced. They gave a quote that seemed reasonable, so we moved forward. He was able to come out within 24 hours, wash our windows and then took the screens the same day to have them replaced in his workshop by the end of the week. Turns out it was too good to be true as 6 months later we still have not had our screens replaced and they have stopped responding. We have tried to be reasonable, and we have numerous texts and calls reshuffling deadlines to try to accommodate. Anthony has missed every single one. He offered a refund, and when we took him up on it, he has stopped responding, despite many weeks and follow-ups. Only reason why this is 1 star and not 0 is because we did have our windows washed but would not recommend doing anything more with this business. read more

This company took $800 from us for a job that was supposed to be completed in October. It is now February, the job isn't done and we can't even get a response from them despite multiple messages on multiple occasions. He was very responsive before we paid and we paid upfront because we were told he needed to purchase supplies. We trusted him because he came highly recommended from the local Alameda FB group. I then posted to the FB group to give him the benefit of the doubt and make sure he was OK. No one who previously supported him said anything and one person said he did a similar thing to them recently. Steer clear. Not having the decency to simply communicate, after taking money upfront, makes it feel like pure theft and a total scam. read more

Super disappointed. I called for window screens. Was told $60/window. Then it was $80 for window. When I corrected him saying I thought it was $60, he said oh ya that's fine. Ok... Then, we had an appointment to put the window screens in. I asked if they could pressure wash the backyard at the same time. He said of course, easy. I planned a party for the next day (4th of July) since I knew our brick patio would be clean (it's currently filthy from construction). Not only did they not show up on time, they didn't show up at all. Blamed it on a saw. You don't need a saw for pressure washing. I don't know if he just wanted to start his holiday early or what, but he didn't keep his word or seem to care at all. I was polite at first, but in the end I just had to cancel the screens too. Who knows if they would've ever showed up to install them. Truthfully both are jobs we CAN do ourselves; but I like supporting small businesses. Oh well! read more

Window Panda did a superb first cleaning on both my outside and inside windows. Some of these windows are difficult to access, some have screens and there are skylights too. With the sunlight streaming through showing every speck of dust, the window pandas cleaned until the windows sparkled. The next day, a guest noted that it appeared that we were outside when we sat next to 3 of the clean big windows. Unfortunately, I have to update this review to one star. The owner took my screens for repair and promised to return them before he left town. I've now been without screens for a week and a half as he is out of town. He said he needed a part and that is the last I ever heard from him. I'd recommend them for window cleaning and solar panel cleaning but not screen repairs. Window Panda fit us in in a short time because we are getting new blinds and I wanted to put them on clean windows. They washed the windows inside and out, repaired all our window screens, and went on the roof to clean our solar panels (which they took before and after photos of so we could see them.) The windows had not been cleaned in several years and they all sparkle now. They were super polite, professional, and easy to work with. I highly recommend this local Alameda business. read more

My windows have never been washed so we decided to finally have them professionally cleaned. I heard about window panda through a friend. I called made an appointment and within the same week He and his team came and did a beautiful job. They were super professional and really nice. I have a large home so his crew took about 2.5 hours which was sufficient. They also repaired some screens that were ripped. I was left stunned at how clear my windows became. You kind of get used to the dirt and grime which is sad. I felt like I put on magic glasses that made me see the beauty of my backyard again. read more

I wanted to write a shout out for Window Panda. Working with the owner of the business has always been a pleasure. He's honest and has a great personality. He and his team came to my house, worked quickly and made my windows sparkle. They offered to take my screens with them for cleaning. With his business booming and my tight schedule, we FINALLY found a date for them to come back and install them--and they came in and quickly, all of my shiny screens were back on their tracks--and he offered me a huge discount because of the challenge in scheduling. It was so customer-service oriented and right now, I could really use that kind of kindness. Well, given I've never had my exterior windows cleaned, I don't know what the going rates are for this service. I can say that I definitely got my money's worth and then some! Window Panda was so quick to respond to my inquiry; they scheduled my appointment and stayed in touch with me until they got here to start the process. These guys are the best. They did a great job cleaning my gutters. When I had some concerns about one of my windows they came back, checked it, and went over their findings with me. They are extremely detailed in their cleaning. They came and cleaned my 3rd floor condo external windows and didn't miss a spot! They wore masks the entire rime and worked around my schedule when working from home. They are quick to schedule and treat their customers with the best services possible. This review is for the communication (or lack thereof) I experienced in attempting to schedule a window cleaning appointment and redeem a living social voucher. I emailed the business owner repeatedly (the instructed mode of communication on the voucher), he replied after 2 or 3 emails, saying simply, "call me" and his #. I called and left a message, to which he never replied. I then emailed again at least twice and never heard back. This all went on over the course of 2 or 3 weeks. I then gave him one last call (because I really wanted my windows cleaned!). This time he picked up and I was able to schedule an appointment with him! Unfortunately, due to the rain, he emailed the night before saying, "if it rains, we might have to cancel your appointment". I was out of town and gave him my husband's phone number, who was supposed to be meeting him the following morning, to confirm with him if he was going to be there or not. It was raining, so we assumed he wasn't coming, but he never confirmed anything and I simply don't have the energy to track this guy down again to reschedule. I finally decided to tackle this situation before hosting my first Christmas in my new house, and I'm so glad I found Window Panda through Living Social! Anthony was responsive, prompt, and did an amazing job. He is also repairing some of my screens, and gave me a great referral (Glass Man & Sons in Alameda, check them out) for repairing a broken window. I bought a living social deal hoping for decent service. It was impossible to get an appointment - literally 3 months of back and forth. They don't answer their phones or respond to online requests. After multiple tries, I finally got an appointment on the calendar. Low and behold, they needed to reschedule last minute. So I was able to get another appointment on the books, but it wouldn't be for a month out. They no showed for the second appointment. These people need to learn how to run a business. Don't waste your time, energy or effort attempting to use them. AND I think all of the 5 star reviews are from Anthony or his family. HA. read more

I'm really glad I decided to call Anthony to clean my windows. He returned my call within minutes, then went over to take a look at the house and texted me his estimate later that afternoon. He quoted a really reasonable price and we made plans for him to come 2 days later. He showed up on time, went right to work, did a great job, and was done in less than 3 hours. Please, stay away. The owner has no idea what the heck he is doing. he flaked several times, due to his failure to show, I missed work. Thereafter, he ignored phone calls, text and emails for weeks!!! They finally I would make contact and he was apologetic and promised to perform on his part of the deal to only flake again. After taking a look out of my second story windows and realizing I couldn't see beyond the dirt, I decided to look into hiring a window washer. I submitted a query via their website and Anthony called me back within minutes. Before I knew it, Anthony and his crew were at my house cleaning my windows and screens and they even repaired a broken screen for us. Anthony and Jesse were friendly, professional and thorough. They worked until it was nearly dark and when they were done, the only sign that they were ever there were my sparkling windows.
