Pros - quick and easy online estimate Cons - everything else, the worst customer service ever. Gwen was in particularly rude and unhelpful. After waiting patiently and politely for over 20 minutes after multiple calls with multiple customer service agents. What happened: The online appointment scheduler didn't send me a confirmation so I called to confirm. She said I would get a confirmation from her manager. After the call, I received 3 messages - 2 texts and 1 email including 1 text for the right day and time and 1 text and 1 email for the wrong day and time. I called back to clarify and sat on hold for several minutes. After finally reaching an agent, she was unable to help me, again I was told she needed her manager to adjust and send confirmation. I was not comfortable with this given what happened last time. I told her I would wait for him to be available or she could just cancel my services altogether but I wanted a clear confirmation via email prior to hanging up the phone. She then transferred me to another agent, who was also unable to help and then spoke to her "technician" who confirmed my appointment but couldn't not confirm the price - and I never received a confirmation, not via email or text while I was on the phone. She then insisted on hanging up to help other customers, which again I was not comfortable with as my appointment was first thing Monday morning and this was Friday afternoon. She continued to talk over me and interrupt me until finally, I just insisted on cancelling all services scheduled. They may do great work, but not worth the headache of dealing with their incompetent and rude staff. I will never use this company and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Very poor customer service. They scheduled a service, sent a text and an invoice saying that work completed, but it wasn't; they rescheduled but then cancelled the service. They sent me an email saying that I requested the service be cancelled, which wasn't true. They said they would call back but they didn't. I called them and asked that they please complete the work, and they said they would review their work orders and call back but they didn't. I understand they may be busy, but very poor customer service nevertheless. read more

I used the Window Gang years ago for power washing our fence and was very pleased with the results. We are getting ready to sell our house after living in it for 15 years so I wanted our windows washed and thought I'd call them again. I was so pleased they were still in business. Sean was so very nice on the phone, what a pleasant woman! She provided great customer service and arranged for Greg to give me a call to set up a time to do an estimate. Greg called me within a few hours and came by later that day. His estimate was very reasonable for washing all of the exterior windows with solar screens for a 2-story house. We took the first available appointment which was just over a week away. Greg and his assistant, Robert, showed up a little earlier than scheduled (and Sean called me ahead of time to let me know they were on their way). Greg noticed a few issues with paint overspray on the inside of the windows and gave me some good advice on how to remove it. The windows and screens look fantastic and I highly recommend this company. If I can't get the inside of the windows clean enough on my own, I will definitely have the Window Gang come back. read more

Called for a quote a few weeks prior for pressure washing our driveway. The lady on the phone looked up our address on Google maps and quoted $130.00. She said it was usually really accurate. Didn't save my info or quote and when the crew showed up and measured it was $180.00; quite a difference. We settled somewhere in between. The crew was friendly, fast and efficient and it is a lot cleaner than before but we still can see brown lines where the pressure washer went back and forth. Think I'll rent one next time and do it myself. read more

This company was able to provide me with a beautiful job of cleaning an older tile roof, exterior cleaning of stone exterior,and washing exterior windows, with excellent results, on short notice. This was the week before Christmas, no less, so they did need to break out the roof part of the job separately from washing the house exterior and windows, but that was fine with me. Tiffany, the scheduler, drove by to look at the house first to make sure their estimate would be correct, which allowed them to be realistic about what they would and would not be able to do by my requested date. I appreciated her openness and can-do attitude. The guys who worked on my house, Zach and Evan, did great work and again were open and informative about their work. Cost compared favorably with a well-reviewed local competitor. It looks like a new house sprang up on my lot! read more

I found Window Gang on Yelp and went to their website, where I completed an easy online quotation. I got an immediate price, which seemed reasonable. The next day I was contacted by email, and when I called to follow up, they were able to schedule the work the very next day. I received a text message when the technician was on the way, and he arrived shortly afterward. As stated on the website, he did a recount of windows, screens, etc. He quoted a revised price that was LOWER than the original - that's a first! We had only the outside windows washed, and they came out looking really good. Cleaning the screens also helped. The whole process was very quick and easy, and we are very pleased with the results. read more

The first time the crew came out they did a great job. The two subsequent times were average and the last time we had concerns that they attempted to fix but didn't. Only the first time did they meet/exceed expectations. They're more expensive that other cleaners; we would rather pay less for average service. Greg is a nice guy and intends to provide excellent service. I think what happened is the the first time he sent out a really good crew that met our expectations for the price and set the bar high. Then the following times a different crew came out and couldn't measure up to the original crew. Too bad. read more

This was a horrible experience for us. We called Window Gang because we got an email from them offering a discount on their dryer vent cleaning with window cleaning. I specifically called and asked for the vent cleaning. When they arrived they were sloppily dressed and did not wear the shoe covers in my house. I observed one guy standing on my window sills to reach windows. Then they left water standing in window sills in all of the master bedroom windows. On top of it all they forgot to clean the vent. I had to remind them. Then the bill was way more than my quote. I wrote a ck and they lost it on the way back to the office. They asked me to cancel the ck and send a new one. I had to hire another co. to come clean my windows. This was a disaster and I do not recommend the Window Gang. read more

This company was straightforward about their services and very competitive pricing. Several prior companies I had contacted were trying to sell me on larger gutters and gutter screens but the nice gentleman who I spoke with was extremely helpful and explained options, he was also able to give me a fair quote by phone & a crew came to my house the next day to clean the gutters. I contacted Window Gang about pressure washing our patio and home which is primarily limestone. They have done our windows in the past and did an excellent job so I decided to check with them on pressure washing this job for me. They fit me in quickly and we discussed a general estimate over the phone since I was out of town when I contacted them and when I needed to have the job done. Used them before to power wash a house before painting. Person did a good job. Recently I saw deal on angies list so I contacted them gave them all window sizes and dimensions and got a reasonable quote. However, had to rearranged my schedule to meet them and they were way late. In addition, Windows not so well done. Failed to get on a ladder for second story windows when I explained up front they would need a tall ladder. Most all window sashes left dirty had to call for a another person to come clean. More time wasted to meet. He did better but was still not white and clean. Used a damp dirty rag to clean out sash without rinsing out. Dirt and debris from sash Used no vacuum, no cleaners etc to get the sashes clean. Very "Low tech", lack of proper equipment/tools and cleaning supplies. Did not get what I paid for. Clean Windows and window sashes. I won't use again. read more

Here is a company you can trust. We live almost 4000 miles away from the home we purchased in Austin. Our property manager usually takes care of everything. This company is awesome. I hired them to remove some oil stains from our brick driveway a little while ago. Generally, it takes two visits to remove the stain but for some reason the ones I created were extra difficult. He was able to remove some other older ones, but the fresh ones I caused weren't coming up. He came out a total of 4 times to try other methods but in the end they wouldn't come up. He let me know and apologized. After all that, he said it was free of charge since he wasn't able to do what he was hired for. Some people might think well duh, but that is truly remarkable when you compare it to how some other businesses are run and some of the experiences I have had. Companies charge just to come out for an estimate but not Window Gang. Although they didn't get the job done, I will definitely give them a call when something else comes up because I know they run their business as honest, hardworking people should. read more
