Austin Affordable Gutters installed gutters along the back of our house where rain had been dripping from the roof onto wooden steps, ruining the finish. Dale was fast, thorough, and the price was very affordable. The gutter color matched the gutter around the front of the house that the builder installed. We had a very strong wind come through and loosened one of the brackets holding one downspout. Dale came out the next day and tightened it, so the gutter wouldn't be damaged. NEXT our neighbor's sweet, happy lab didn't see the gutter when going around the side of the house and bent a couple of feet of it, although it didn't break loose. Our dog friend was not hurt. Dale and Samantha were immediately responsive and replaced the gutter, and the bill was very reasonable and much less than I had anticipated. Contacted Austin Affordable Gutters late 2021 to get an quote. They showed up on time and provide some options. They also suggested that we should paint the fascia board before the gutter install. We decided to hold off for a bit since we decided to get a new roof and fascia boards installed before the gutter install. I contacted them again late this year and they promptly came out and had all the info from last time. Their previous quite was pretty much the same so we went ahead and scheduled the install. So far, I have an estimate for my gutters. This process was very smooth and easy to navigate. The person showed up on time, seemed very knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. They were also incredibly affordable, but it didn't detract from the quality. Besides the gutters, they are also one of the last standing businesses that go above and beyond for their customers. Baseline they are communicative, timely, and clear which is already a rarity. However, they are also very available for questions and concerns, and promptly came out after the last freeze when a branch hit my gutter and repaired it optimally to ensure it drained efficiently. My short answer is anyone looking for gutters should use Austin Affordable Gutters. Why? Most gutter companies use the exact same material and what makes them last or not is the quality of the installers. Austin Affordable Gutters has the best warranty (10 years on labor/install, 50 on the product) I encountered and they are a family company that's focused on quality. They do great work and they do it right the first time. In their estimate, they also pointed out a few things others had not which they would cover to make sure it was installed right the first time (we were missing some necessary flashing). Originally I met with 4 gutter companies and it was helpful to have the comparison. One was half the price but they used random contractors, had 1/2 the warranty, and while they showed me cool samples, it didn't feel quality. One was more expensive and had computerized images to show the install image. The third was not remarkable but none had the same warranty, pride in their work, commitment to quality, and family focus in their work that Austin Affordable Gutters does. The final product really looks great and they worked through a couple of issues I had not thought of due to construction design changes with thoughtful communication on their part. They did excellent work at very fair prices for my installation. Later I found out something very important for your gutter installation. Make sure they do not put a gutter down spout right at or right next to a sprinkler pop up. I had one gutter down spout right in front of a sprinkler pop up with the concrete gutter drain guide right over the sprinkler pop up. I had a second gutter down spout right next to a sprinkler pop up. That sprinkler sprays half of it's water right into the gutter down spout instead of the lawn because the gutter down spout was installed right next to the sprinkler pop up. They did not check to see where the sprinkler pop ups were located when they planned and installed the gutter down spouts. read more

In February 2017, I purchased a house that had some issues with drainage. As part of the agreement with the seller, they had Austin Affordable Gutters come out and bid the cost of gutters on 01/26/17. After buying the house, and getting a few other bids from other companies, I decided to go with Austin Affordable Gutters because they had the most reasonable price, with the most comprehensive bid, and I was NOT disappointed. Samantha (office admin) had clear, consistent, friendly, and prompt communication and continues to this day. The installation occurred on 03/15/17 with no issues. I never even met the crew as I was out of town during that time. I came home and the gutters were installed and looked great. I was really happy they suggested the leaf screens because in almost a year, I've only needed to get up there once and brush the leaves and sticks away from the gutters. No clogging of leaves (and I have a big red oak that dumps a ton of leaves on my house). I noticed right away that the way the water was moving (or not moving) on the house was an issue (I don't believe this was an installation issue, but rather a house issue). I immediately emailed Samantha about the concern and she said they would come out there and re-evaluate the installation and the gutters. I told her I wanted to wait and see how the gutters performed a little more and she told me to let her know when I wanted Dale to come back out. Well, I learned a lot about my house and drainage and gutters in the last 10 months, and I was having some major drainage issues on the property which was causing a lot of water under my house and shifting in my pier and beam foundation, so I needed to get a drainage system hooked up to the gutters and send the water out to the street (over-simplification but the details don't matter as much). I called Austin Affordable Gutters, and within a few days, Dale was out here, 10 months after install, evaluating what happened and is scheduled with a week to add two more downspouts and a splash guard, free of charge to the house and is willing to communicate with the drainage company regarding coordinating installation to make sense for what they are doing. I can't say enough about Dale, Samantha, and Austin Affordable Gutters- with this whole drainage issue, I felt I was "losing against water", and Dale and Samantha felt like a little win for me. A company that cares about me, even nearly a year later, and how their product performs and is willing to adjust it with no extra cost to me. You have a lot of choices, and I know, as a first time home-buyer, that can be VERY overwhelming. These guys are great and professional! Came to do a free estimate. We mentioned that we would be installing rain barrels in the future and that the mesh wiring for the gutters would be sufficient. At no point did I feel we were trying to get sold a much higher priced gutter system than our needs. AMAZING! I have been totally impressed with this company from day 1. Not only did they honor a quote they did for us over a year ago, but they also have a wide variety of colors to choose from. The install was quick and I walked the property with the workmen afterward. They were able to turn and replace elbows as I saw fit. Luckily we had rain the next day and I could already see how the system was working WAY better then what we had before. The price was beyond fair and I also highly recommend the added rain guard. Hail damaged our old gutters and roof. However, I didn't just want to slap new gutters up without taking advantage of this opportunity to revamp the exterior paint job. I called four gutter companies, even two of what I've seen mentioned as "premier" companies elsewhere, which basically means "the most expensive". Four might seem excessive but it paid off in the long run. The two "premier" companies were so busy "selling" me that I couldn't wait for them to leave. I hate that feeling. You know where they are so busy listening to themselves talk and they are just so impressed with their selves.... Yes, their gutters looked super high-tech and fancy as all get out. But do I need to pay three times as much for something if I don't have to? The other company I called was super cheap. Like a fraction of the cost I had already been quoted. But they wouldn't return my calls with questions about warranty, materials used, etc. Austin Affordable Gutters made it easy. Super nice guys. They agreed to come early back in June(at no extra or upfront cost) and remove our old gutters so that we could have our house painted beforehand. They didn't mind having to wait to install while I shopped for rain barrels and painters. No problem for them. They stayed in contact regularly for the 6 weeks until installation. Once I let them know the house was painted, they scheduled installation about a week out. I was supposed to have had all my rain barrels placed where I wanted them and leveled. But my husband was travelling and I couldn't get it all done myself. So there were two of the five that were just sitting where I wanted them but not yet on level ground. The installers were super nice and didn't lash out at me for not having stuck to my end of the bargain. Once they left and my husband came home a couple days later, we discovered that one of the downspouts wasn't high enough or long enough to reach the rain barrel. I called them back explaining it was partially my fault. The owner of the company, Dale, showed up and fixed it himself. And before leaving he was kind enough to fix some places in my roof near the gutters where the roof installers were in too big of a hurry to throw in a few extra nails where they should have. I highly recommend Austin Affordable Gutters! Everything about dealing with this company was positive. They made this suburban housewife happy. We really needed gutters, and these guys were the only ones who actually called me back about setting up a time to measure and do an estimate. Best of all, most of the scheduling was done via email, so I'd didn't have to play phone tag with anyone. Dale was very cool and very honest; when he offered the two types of screens for the gutters he explained what each would and would not deflect. He was also able to identify our Arizona ash, which had been a mystery, and which has little seed pods which require fine mesh gutter screens. No hard sell at all. Although I couldn't compare pricing with other companies, neighbor's shared their gutter costs for similar sized homes, and these guys were on the low end of what we expected to pay. They came to install in about three weeks, and were willing to work with my oddball summer schedule. The guys who arrived were early and worked quickly, even though it was well over 100 degrees out. A couple weeks later it rained like hell and the gutters worked perfectly. They even managed to pitch a weird overhang by the front door, which was already sloped in the wrong direction, so we could get away with only one downspout on the side, for aesthetic reasons. When I found AAG, I was really blown away by them. They went to a lot of trouble to explain what I needed, and what I do not need. It was just a great experience from start to finish. I had one gutter that was giving me a lot of trouble and during heavy rains dripping water on to the house. When they fixed the gutters that new downspout did the trick and we never had to worry about water collecting in the rain gutters again. Last year, we had a BUNCH mosquitoes due to the water build up. Not to mention that it doesn't exactly smell great either. With the new screen on the gutters is also helps that I don't have clean out the gutters every two weeks, I can just use the blower to dust off the leaves and tree debris.
