Plenty of parking to start your adventure and be ready to explore and be amazed with each step. It offers many trials and paths, paved and unpaved for the adventure seekers. Might see a nice horse rider as well as they have a horse trail through the park. Fully shaded trails allowing you to be engulfed in nature and local wildlife. We saw an armadillo which was cool. Lovely variety of botanical species that's keeps you intrigued. Very peaceful and zen which is great for relaxation and meditation. Welcome center offers a wealth of information and artwork and a history museum allowing you to absorb and increase your knowledge of the area. They also offer indoor rented space for functions. Lovely park for a great hike and walk or for relaxation as you sit in the many rocking chairs staring into the lagoon with tranquility!

No noise except the beautiful sound of birds shirping. Have a sit on one of their benches and enjoy a moment of introspection and thinking. Stroll down the many walkways and trails and enjoy nice lake views and untouched old trees that have branches stretching wide and low with spanish moss hanging. Dreamy almost ghostly like vibe. The visitor's center is big and has a museum exhibition inside about tribal history. Wish it was closer to home otherwise this would be my go to meditation park. Just a peaceful and beautiful place.

The pickup was…read moreon time and the driver narrated some fun facts about the everglades on the short ride there. We visited on a Saturday so it was busy as expected. There is no shade on the grounds so much of the time was spent standing in the hot sun. Waiting to get into an airboat was a bit chaotic and tiresome. There were shade canopies along the queue but they were not deployed for some reason. Staff seemed a bit disorganized, groups were confused on where to go and given mixed directions from staff members. The experience on the boat was nice and we saw a variety of wildlife. The captain was knowledgeable and spotted alligators quickly. The gator show was fun but short. The host Paul was funny and engaging, the entire audience was captivated. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our highlight was getting to hold a baby alligator and knowing that our money was going to one of the only no kill gator rescues!

This is a pretty good way to see and learn about our local Everglades!…read moreOur tour was at 12:30pm on a Saturday. We saw about 6 gators in the wild. Our airboat captain Tori was excellent! She gave us some history of the Everglades and was great about finding us gators. The airboats only cover a very small circle portion of the Everglades, which was the only disappointing part. I was hoping there would be more open canals to float/drive down to get more of the airboat experience. The time on the water is about 45 minutes. We also got to stick around to catch the alligator show hosted by the Gator Boys. Our package also came with a pic with a baby alligator which was cool to hold. It did feel a bit like an assembly line, even though it was just our group taking the pics, where we didn't have time to hold the baby gator or ask too many questions about it. Def stop in the back to see the albino gators and other wildlife.

I wanted to give him a chance to walk around and make sure everything was okay before we left the area. There is a shaded paved exercise trail that goes throughout the park and we took a little stroll. Sunny really started perking up as we walked through the park. Besides the exercise path there are benches, a shaded playground, and a covered picnic pavilion. In the center of the park is an open play area and several large ficus trees. At the edge of the park we discovered a community kindness rock garden which encourages you to take a rock and leave one. I love how well maintained and beautifully landscaped the parks are in Weston. I also love that they are dog friendly. Dogs on leashes are always welcome as long as you clean up after yourself with the poo bags they kindly provide. This is just one of the many beautiful parks in Weston that add charm to the city.
