Burger, fries and BLT
Pam W.

I went here last month with one of my friends and we got the BLT and the double patty burger the burger was really good. It comes with homemade pickles that are awesome. I would get extra if you like pickles also, I believe the bacon is homemade it was pretty good it just needs a little extra cook time. It wasn't very crispy. I like my bacon crispy on my BLT so that's the only thing I didn't like about the BLT so I would try the pizza I think next time because this little girl at the table next to us was eating a pepperoni pizza and she was tearing it up. We also had some fries and they were really good because they were made to order. We also tried some local beer because there's a brewery right next-door. It's LBC I believe and the beer is really good. We also tried the mac and cheese, it's a no for me. Also to note when you walk in you seat yourself so you could sit down find a table and then place your order and they will take your phone number and text you when your order is ready and you just go up to the window and pick up your order. Also don't forget to validate your parking when you go in. Service was great.

I was craving some good fries and checked Yelp, all the reviews pointed to this place. We went on a Saturday around 1:30 and it was pretty packed. We walked in and stood there waiting to be seated. (Just fyi, you seat yourself) we missed that. As we were standing a customer came in and asked if we were in line. Informed her we were waiting to be seated. She explained to us that you order your food and find a table. They ask you for your cell and send you a text when it is ready. I opted for the burger a side of fries and mac and cheese. My friend ordered the BLT and fries. We found a table and waited, you can tell the food is cooked made to order, the fries were pipping hot, and the burger and BLT was too. The next time I go, I would pass on the Mac and cheese, it wasn't cheesy enough for me. Everyone there had an order of nachos that looked amazing I would try them the next time too! Also, they have homemade pickles, I would get extra on my burger, they are so good. They do serve alcoholic beverages and there is a brewery right across from them called Lynwood brewery, we had the Lynwood light and it was very refreshing. I will say this place must stay busy, because you have to validate your parking.

Came here for the first time a few weeks back. What a cool spot to grab some food and drinks. The area used to be some old loading docks which transformed into a brewery & eatery. The servers here were really nice. Ambiance is family friendly, with areas to allow children to run around and have some fun. Would come back in the future.

Stopped in for dinner last night and I'm glad we did. The first thing that you notice when you walk up is a huge amount of outdoor seating. The indoor seating was very nice also, but we opted for being outdoors. When you walk in, there are menus where you select your food, and then order from either the bar or a window. Good selection of sandwiches and other fare. Numerous Linwood Brewing Concern beers on tap, as well as some cider, wine, and full bar. The service is very helpful and pleasant. I ordered the Carnitas torta and mac & cheese, and my wife ordered the burger and fries. All the food was outstanding! The torta was one of the best sandwiches I've had in ages. I highly recommend this place. The only drawback is that this place, Linwood Brewing and Hummingbird are all at the same location, so it is very busy and parking can be difficult.

First time visit. A group of us went for lunch. The parking lot is all paid parking. But do not pay because you can get it free upon entering the restaurant. You will need your smartphone to do this. The homemade root beer soft drink was lacking in fizz. The lunch burger was a double burger and very filling. The tomatoes on the sandwich were fresh and tasted amazing. The burger was greasy and had no flavor. Fries were hot but way oversalted. Left very full, but it was not worth $20.

We came for a quick lunch stop on our way through town. Courtyard is shared with Lynnwood Brewing Concern & has ample tables, with umbrellas for a hot day. There is space to bring your dogs as well. We didn't bring ours, but the tables are spaced out well enough that several dogs nearby nicely sat by their owners. Food was good as well. The flatbread was our favorite. Feta, red onion, and roasted red bell peppers were unique & delicious.

Brewery Bhavana was the first dinner spot I tried in downtown Raleigh after moving here and let me…read morejust say it was a truly tasty experience. I brought a friend who came into town and we were craving dim sum. The ambience was relaxing, the food was stellar, and my friend and I had an amazing time. Our waiter was very helpful in guiding us through the menu (because I was wayyy too indecisive) and even took our picture at the end of the night.

Highly recommend making a reservation! Our reservation was at 9pm on a Saturday night and the…read moreentire restaurant was PACKED! I was really surprised that even at that hour the whole restaurant was busy. The interior was stunning!! I loved the lighting fixtures and drappy curtains. I would say that I didn't like that they dimmed the lights sooo low that I could barely see my food or my friend across the table. There's mood lighting and then there's "I can't see lighting" and it was definitely the latter, which I didn't care for. The food was absolutely amazing!!!! 10 out of 10, the staff was also incredible! Can't wait to come back for more! My favorite was the Pork & Chive Shumai (dumplings with caviar) it was my first time trying caviar and I loved it. I didn't like the seafood dumplings as much as I expected. They were really good. I just loved the pork ones more. The beef and crab rice was also EXCELLENT!!!! Well worth the price. Beautiful place.

There's a story behind why I'm giving this bar 5 stars. My first experience here a few years back…read morewas so memorable that I'm probably bias, but I was just visiting Raleigh back then and wondered in here around 10pm on a Friday, found my way to the back patio and can recall to this day what I was thinking. "I think I'm starting to like this city...". The back patio that night had a vibe and look to it that I hadn't seen anywhere else in a long time; almost Austin-wierd/cool like. I ended up sitting next to a guy who was rolling his own cigarettes from a roll of Drum tobacco when I noticed he put raisins and dates in the package. We ended up talking about finer tobaccos and the art of roll your own (his experience) and my thoughts on cigars and pipe tobacco. It was a great first night in Raleigh. Now, 3 years into living here, I can say that it's lost a bit of that first impression charm but the raw ingredients are still there. The music is still awesome, the service is still very good, the patrons are equally as surprising from night to night. I would definitely call this a Raleigh staple and hope that your first time here was as good as mine.

A cool pub in an unexpected place…read more This long and narrow bar certainly comes with a lot of charm, and an impressive amount of indoor seating. I would say it definitely fits into the neighborhood and appears to be a popular local hangout. Even on a chilly day, the outdoor seating is very comfortable, feel free to take advantage of the propane heaters. The drinks are excellent, and the customer service is good, it's definitely a great place to stop for drinks. Cheers!
