You can tell it's a woman's owned business by the decor and the thoughtful product selection. Merchandise is selected with great taste and reflects great fashion sense. I was surprised and excited to find a purse I didn't buy in Athens last year and immediately added it to my basket. I loved when the owner told me " I sale everything I would wear". She was very personable went above and beyond to explain when asked questions. Honestly my girlfriend and I felt like we were on a shopping spree with another girlfriend of ours which made our experience more pleasant. In addition to the purse I purchased gorgeous statement handmade ring that would match well with one of my statement necklaces from Devon Leigh. I've been in fashion for 15+ years and it is exciting for me when a merchandiser is brave enough to challenge the market by introducing small handmade European brands. Bravo! My girlfriend bought a candle and called me raving about the smell and clean quality. Prices reflect the quality and selection in the boutique and are a good value. My purchases were wrapped beautifully and I received them in well made canvas tote with Hará's logo that I will definitely use and advertise the store. I emailed the boutique afterwards because I didn't receive my e-receipt and immediately received a response with attached receipt. Another point for exceptional customer service that is rare to experience now days! You can find clothes, accessories, candles and even Greek olive oil. I urge you if you haven't been to Hará to take a walk and visit to support a small business that bring beauty to Astoria. Cheerio!

Well today, on 2/26 I decided to cash in on my gift card. I picked a pair of sunnies ($20) and a makeup bag ($25). When I got to the register, I was told I needed to make a purchase of $150 in order to use the gift card. This was never disclosed during the initial purchase. Nowhere on the receipt or gift card does it state this term and condition! When I spoke to the "manager" of the day, she agreed that it wasn't stated in writing, but "that's the way it's set up". Really? How misleadingly convenient. That important detail was left out. What a crock! What a disappointment! Bait-and-switch is BAD BUSINESS. You're obligated to let your customers know these details of your promos and the way they are "set up" beforehand. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau next.

My friend and I did insanely well here though, she got the cutest pair of lace up plaid shoes for like $30 (people on Depop were selling the same pair for $125 used). I walked out with a real Italian lamb leather jacket for $55 - so good that my dry cleaner was literally shocked at the price tag I'd left on when I brought it to him for a cleaning. Overall, a solid thrift spot to look through.

While I love shopping for clothes for myself, I'm less attuned to guy's fashion. It's not high fashion in here, but you can find a well priced selection of clothes you can dress up or down that isn't just the selection at Uniqlo, which is our usual default for him. They have a little dressing room in the back and the place is never too crowded. While it's definitely still fast fashion, the clothes have not fallen apart several years and many washes later, so I would totally return for more clothes for him.

I would describe the clothing as contemporary juniors clothing, but you can find basics here as well. They carry Just USA jeans which are some of my favorite, and Lush tops which I used to only find at Century 21 or Nordstrom Rack. They always have fun sales around the holidays, and you can collect points on your purchases using the FiveStars app (I believe that's what it's called). I usually redeem mine for a free scarf since they always have such a nice selection. The jewelry is gorgeous as well and I believe some of the items are custom-made.
