Woof Dogs helped us to make our dog a more manageable and meaningful member of our family. Shay…read morewas fantastic when we did the intake with him before Boot Camp. He immediately had Honey's respect! (If only it were true for us). We knew we were at the right place! We dropped her off for her 2 week stay and she pranced right off with Lena! I missed her terribly but it was WORTH IT!! She learned so much in that 2 week time period! My daughters and grandchildren noticed a difference! We did the one on one training after with Shay. He had Honey's number and OURS! He knew how to train us to do more! He has a great program with fabulous people. I can't forget Melissa who answered the phone every time this dog mom called. WOOF DOGS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!

I was really disappointed with what I received from woof dogs. I took my dog Riley to meet with…read moreshay who recommended us to one of his trainers for in-home training on feb 4, I explained that my dog was very smart and obedient, but I wanted a safe way to get him used to other dogs because Riley freaks out every time we take him on a walk when he sees another dog. I felt the sessions the trainer provided us were kind of weak and basic, during the course of 5 months the office or the trainer canceled several times. I paid for 10 sessions and got 7 sessions all of which I was told were supposed to be 1-hour sessions but never got more than 45 mins total per session. I called a few weeks ago after no contact from their main office or trainer for a month asking what was going on and for a refund, but they haven't responded other than to know they don't offer refunds. I feel their main office and trainers do not do a good job of contacting you and my dog is still terribly scared of other dogs and has made little improvement.

Heather is awesome! In just two sessions I have seen amazing improvement in my Aussie cattle dog…read more Now we can go on daily walks and my dog has learned to come inside when called. Heather also taught us 'off' to eliminate the dogs jumping on people when they come into our house or jumping up to beg for food. Heather is very knowledgeable and great at explaining the techniques and insights into dog behavior. She's helped me become a more confident owner. Thank you Heather for improving both of our quality of life. I'm looking forward to all the new experiences me and my dog will be able to have together.

Heather is an absolute consummate professional and I recommend her to everyone who needs dog…read moretraining! My husband and I have two senior dogs (9 and 10 y/o) and a 10 month old cattle dog mix puppy named Freya. Our goal was to "tidy up the manners" of the older pups but also focus mainly on Freya as she was much harder to keep focused on a task and higher energy than even our border collie was as a puppy! She pulled HARD in her harness, couldn't sit still to learn commands without getting distracted, and barked when her canine sisters barked at anything. We also wanted to be sure that the older dogs' other bad habits weren't going to rub off on Freya too much. This was barking at doorbells/knocks/deliveries and also jumping up on whoever walked through the front door, both us and our friends. Heather's methods are so logical, effective, and easy to put into practice; two months after our sessions with her the training has stuck! Our friends comment on how good our pups are when they arrive, no longer barking excitedly and leaping up on them but quietly waiting with tails wagging for the ok to approach and receive attention. On walks with the prong collars that she recommended on, our two dogs that would pull no longer do as they receive a quick gentle tug on their collars otherwise. They've, all three, gotten so much better at not barking at other people we pass on our walks as well. Her prices for sessions are more than reasonable and well worth it! Thank you so much, Heather!
