One of my favorite trusty places with the most amazing king people! Wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Trust them with my baby every time! Sebastian even has regular friends here :)

For the most part, I was thrown off by the fact that I didnt actually get to see Ayla for majority of the time. I saw her for maybe an hour or two throughout the day before nap time started then there would be a point in time where I wouldn't see her until the next morning -- that happened everyday she was there. There were a lot of places my dog was without a camera actually being there as promised. Originally, when I called to book her for the week, I was told there wasn't going to be group time with other dogs so she'd just be with the staff. When I dropped her off, a staff member asked me her breed again and told me that because she could "pass" for a labrador mix, that she'd be able to play with other dogs and basically stating that because she doesn't look like her breed, she's able to integrate with other animals saying "we'll just say she's a Lab mix" Also, she came back home pretty sick, full of scabs and what kind of looks like a rash of some sort. When I came to get her, I mainly didn't mention anything because all I wanted was to have my pet and head back home after a long flight so it wasn't on my mind too much to ask about camera issues, breed discrimination, etc. but when she got home, she was gagging, bleeding on her neck, and acting very unlike herself in general. (The photos were the only ones I could get, she also had cuts on her back legs and stomach.)

    Happy from daycare!

I must've asked about a hundred questions, and called a few times lol, but I never felt like a burden. They were all so happy to help! They were also super transparent with pricing and explained everything in detail. I watched teddy on the webcam during group play, he looked very happy. I even saw the counselor give ted a kiss during playtime :') Also i love how you get pictures of your pet at camp occasionally uploaded on the app with a paw-gress report!

Yes money is needed to keep a business open but WILLINGLY BOARDING DOGS THAT ARE SICK WITH KENNEL COUGH (a highly contagious respiratory disease that can be fatal to older pets) INTO THE FACILITY BECAUSE THE DOGS' OWNER WILL PAY EXTRA. that is disgraceful to put other animals at risk because you want the quick buck! Also, an employee named Kaylee is very disrespectful to other staff members, i have witnessed it. You can't have someone that isn't a manager acting like they are so no wonder why there's a high turn over in staff which can make it difficult to provide the best care to animals because the new staff barely knows how the company works and they quit before they care to figure it out. I hope this place can do better because they are many staff there that actually care about the pets AND NOT THE MONEY.

Pet Paradise Coconut Creek has a lot of great features that many dogs and pet parents might love…read more The facility looks like a fun and engaging place for dogs, and the staff were very helpful and kind. I appreciated the effort they put into creating an enjoyable experience, including sending home adorable report cards about your dog's day. However, I learned this setup might not be the best fit for every dog. They keep dogs in individual kennels during daycare, taking them out periodically for about 45 minutes of playtime in the outdoor yard and for potty breaks. While this may work well for more independent dogs, my dog struggles with being left alone for extended periods and prefers constant interaction with other dogs or staff. Plus, I'm paying for daycare so that my dog can get socialization and playtime as exercise since he's an apartment dog and doesn't get to run around often. Another downside was that you can't see your dog while they're in the kennels--only during their playtime, which felt a bit limiting. My dog also came home smelling strongly of urine, likely because he's not used to being kenneled and may have had an accident due to stress. They do a great job grouping dogs by size, which is reassuring. However, I was disappointed to find that the pool area is geared more toward bigger dogs, while smaller dogs have a splash pad instead, which wasn't what I had hoped for when choosing this daycare. Lastly, I tried calling in the morning to let them know I would be late, but no one answered the phone, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I think Pet Paradise Coconut Creek could be a great fit for dogs that are more independent and used to being kenneled for parts of the day. Unfortunately, it didn't fully meet my dog's needs, but it's clear they care about the dogs in their care and offer some great perks for the right pups.
