The only place board my dog. No cages- They are rooms - 3 walls and them front where opens is heavy duty glass so dogs can still look out but the weight of the glass keeps it very quiet. It is very Zen like spa. I could stay there for a few days myself. Webcam so can always watch your babies.! I seen the staff clean on WebCam and it is done with impeccability as they treat your pet . Sure it cost more than a regular boarding place but worth every single cent. Staff is great. I'm so thrilled to finally have found a day care my dog can be well taken care of and have a blast! I checked out a few in my area and was not happy till I found Chateau Poochie! My two Frenchies stayed at Chateau Poochie for a long weekend this past weekend. We booked them in the crown jewel suite so that we could check in on them since the suites have a camera. The staff did a wonderful job, and we saw them on the camera cleaning the room daily in the morning. The staff showed me the suite in person before we left, and it smelt very clean. My pups were also able to play the whole time they were there and had a blast. We love that there is indoor play (vs outdoor) and the play groups seem nicely behaved and not overcrowded. In the evening, we checked the cameras and the pups were snuggling and snoozing after a long day of play. This will be the place we will use for boarding going forward!! read more

Couldn't recommend Chateau Poochie more! My dog is a quarantine puppy and has separation anxiety from us. However, once we pull up to the Chateau, he runs in and doesn't look back! I walked in unannounced for the first time before sending my pup there and they offered to give me a tour right on the spot to see their immaculate facility. That's how you know that this is how clean and amazing it is 24/7. They even have cameras in the play rooms so you can check in on your dog. I can't tell you how many times I have checked in to see them playing, petting, and even dancing with the dogs! They are true animal lovers. I love this place. The staff is consistent and have been there a long time. They remember details and know me and my dog by name without having to be reminded. I'm never worried when I'm away and she is there and the grooming is the best. It is a little more pricey then some places but competitively priced for places of the same status. Basically for the service you get it is what it costs here. I bring her there for special grooming even when she is not being boarded. Sanchez is her handler when she is boarded and he is so sweet and keeps me updated with emails and videos. They are so sweet and it's a great place for pets. read more

This place is the prettiest around but not worth bringing your dog too. Very sad to say my dog was injured coming here. Cost me thousands in vet bills due to a limp and illness. Come to find out, I was one of multiple owners who experienced the same exact problem. The staff are very nice but, said that they see this often. I pulled my dog because it's not worth her physical health. She has been to multiple daycares, not problem. I am writing you in regard to my dog's stay for ten days this month. When I picked him up he seemed quiet, put thought it was all the excitement from his stay. He also looked thinner, but thought it was from his haircut and grooming. When I brought him home he was coughing and sneezing. I brought him to the vet and he has been on antibiotics for a week now. During his visit, I had also gotten a call that he had run out of his food. Your staff did go out and get him more food. (I was also charged mileage to get the food) When they weighed him the 1st day he came to your facility he was almost 6 lbs and at the vet he was under 5 lbs. I keep wondering if he was eating all the food ...why did his weight drop? I think what bothered me the most is that I called to let you know he was sick and I never received a call back to see how he was doing or if any other dogs got sick. We were going on a vacation and could not take our dog with us. We had been looking for a place that would care for him. The last time we put him up in a "luxury" pet resort (which shall remain nameless) the people that looked after him did not care about animals. We were skeptical of the "luxury" label a lot of these pet resorts were claiming. We went to 2 others that claimed "luxury"and it smelled like complete urine in the first and the second they were not sanitary. We were frustrated. Then we found Chateau Poochie and we were saying in our heads "here we go with another unsanitary pet prison".....boy were we wrong. When we walked in we first notice that there was no odor whatsoever and the place was clean in the lobby. The owner greeted us and took us on a tour, not only was the lobby extremely clean, the actual rooms where dogs were staying were VERY clean and sanitary. There was no smell at all. The food preparation area was very sanitary as well. This was a relief because sanitation is our main concern along with the treatment of our baby. The owner answered all our questions and was very polite. We ended up deciding to leave him in the crown Jewel suite. This came with web cam. Which was great. We also left instructions on feeding and treats (which they followed 100%). The gentlemen who cared for him was named John. I have to say John was extremely professional and caring when it came to our beloved baby. At one point we were watching on the web cam and John came in to give our dog some food. Our dog is timid so he just stared at John from the corner of the room. We watched as John gently picked up our baby pet his head and put him in his bed. We could tell he was an animal person and very caring. The whole staff treated our baby with complete professionalism and respect. They were gentle and at times when we had bad internet connection we would call in and they would give us an update on what our dog was doing. After we picked him up we were extremely pleased with the way the staff showed professionalism, caring, and the level of cleanliness of the facility, which was on a very high level. Without hesitation in the future we would leave our beloved baby in the care of Chateau Poochie and the caring staff. My girls go here at least once a week and it's my go to spot for boarding. I have two dogs - one mini and one toy. The staff is great with both of them and will usually tell me what they're noticing something about them. Coconut has been going here since she was a pup and the staff have embraced her - even when she is talking away at drop off and pick up (She can be loud!). And Cashewnut fit right in and always seems to be getting cuddles and playtime with the handlers. Boarding pricing is a bit higher than some other places but I will also say it's worth it. After reading some reviews, I need to defend Chateau Poochie's boarding rates. Yes, the large, glass kennels with video cameras, a couch, tv, and 3walks included aren't cheap, but like a 5star hotel, you get the works. The "standard" kennels with no video cams are competitively priced and are the same sizes/prices as my vet offers down the road. I began with the pricey glass ones, but will use the standard ones in the future because the cost is the same at my vet's and I feel the ambience and attentive staff at Chateau Poochie is better. Grooming is excellent and the groomer, Liliana, goes out of her way to accommodate special requests and spends time to talk about the session and answer any questions I might have. Owner, Amy, is professional, LOVES dogs/cats, and keeps her business CLEAN, has qualified, hard-working staff, a HUGE high end facility, and will bend over backwards to satisfy her customers. read more

I've been bringing Rebel here for day care 1-2x a week when I know I have to work late. Rebby and I couldn't be happier! Front staff is always extremely courteous. Today I walked in and the trainer was excited to see Rebby and called her by name! There must be hundreds of dogs in & out everyday, so it means a lot to me that he remembered Rebby. I am a helicopter mom so I watch the webcam the entire work day while Reb is at Chateau Poochie. All day she is playing with well behaved dogs having a blast. I see the trainers constantly throwing balls and giving everyone an equal amount of pets. When I pick Rebby up she's in a wonderful mood. Saturday CP has a deal for $19 for day care, we've done this once and it was perfect, I got errands done while she played all day and when I picked her up she was prepared for a night in ready to cuddle. I will be boarding Reb here in September and I am 100% at ease with her stay. I couldn't recommend CP any more! They are the best. read more

This is the best dog boarding facility I have ever seen. I am in between fl and my and leave my dog at chateau poochie when I travel. They have an attentive staff that meets the demands I have. I have watched my dog in training sessions and in daily doggy daycare which has impressed me. The amenities are real luxury and they pamper dogs even with massages and gourmet meals. I recommend this place to anyone who needs comfort when they travel knowing their dog is safe. It's not horrible but I paid extra so I could watch my dog on the camera in her own personal room..the man installed the wrong camera on my phone apparently and the dog in the room was NOT my dog. They refused to refund me the extra for that room even though they were the ones who installed the wrong camera. My dog was fine when I picked her up other than a very hoarse bark... All in all, my vet is a much better place to board my dogs and I will not be returning here. This was probably a year or so ago so they may have gotten better now. Who knows! Also, they did check the camera before I left, but the dogs were at play time so my dog was not in the room. Overall, give it a shot! These are the paws of Kylo after a 1 night stay at Chateau Poochie in Pompano Beach. 2 of his paws had horrible cuts and poor guy couldn't even walk. We left a healthy dog on Saturday and came back Sunday night with a limping dog with big cuts in his paws. We had to take him to the emergency vet who prescribed antibiotics as one of them seemed infected. When communicating this to Chateau Poochie they just said that the dog ran too much and was hyper. Yeah right, a dog that is used to run around in South Florida pavement during the summer got hurt in an indoor facility during an hour of social time. They saw him he could not walk well and they still didn't even call us to advise. These people don't care about the dogs and they refuse to even refund his 1 night and take responsability for whatever happened to the dog inside of that facility. Do yourself a favor and NEVER leave your puppy here if you care about the safety and health of your pet. read more

Well it happened- we had to board lil gusser wusser- you get a code to watch your door in his room- which was the size of my walk in closet at home - the bed and bedding was soo plush I wanted to stay myself!! He has puppy playtime all day and we splurged and got him a puppy massage lol!! He was there for 3 days and they call every night to tell you how the day went and etc! When we picked him up- they gave him a bath and omg- he smelled like a little gentleman- this place is seriously amazing the amenities they have for your dog most 5 star hotels don't have for humans!! During a recent holiday weekend, I left my four legged baby in the care of chateau poochie. My 7 year dog has never had to stay at a place like this since normally when we leave town, we leave him with friends or family. This particular wkd though, we were leaving for a family function, so our family was going with us, and all our go-to babysitting friends seemed to be vacationing as well! My dog did great here. This place is horrible. First of all, the front desk attendants are rude. At the minute you start the tour you see the dogs inside little cages. All of them look so miserable. I send my dog to Chateau Poochie for grooming and occasional overnight stays. I cannot recommend a better place for your special pet. My dog actually runs to the entrance when we get there, that should tell you everything. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day, after they go to social lounge. I have NEVER seen such a clean environment for dogs. They are truly professional. I also watch my pet on the webcam whenever I leave him there. How awesome is that. Too expensive, customer service horrible!!!! Just moved to Florida days before hurricane Irma. Got quoted a price over the phone per night and once I arrived at Chateau Poochie, the owner told me that that room was sold out and the next room was $10 a night more. Having no choice I had to pay it. Then the owner informs me at the last minute that there was another $10 a night for 4 nights as a hurricane fee? I could not believe it. Then there was the charge for the play area and the treat fee and it goes on and on. I actually felt sorry for my 7lb dog having to leave her there but had no choice because of the hurricane. I am sure it's the best looking day care around, but I was disappointed today when I saw the handler not treating my 7th month old Boston terrier nicely. He was trying to mount other dogs ( he is neutered ) and instead of removing him from the situation, she held him down by the side of his face to the floor a few times, then had him in her arms and that's when I called , questioned what I watched on the video cam and I was advised that he hyper! I asked why the handler treated him like that and she said it was to teach him not to do something. When my daughter picked him up she was told he was given a time out today. I called and spoke to Don who tried to tell me that after the time out my dog knew he did something wrong. I am so disappointed, I really thought I found a place but I won't bring him back there now. Not if the same woman handler is employed there. What was wrong with distracting him?? He's a 7 month old male dog who can learn correct behavior without force. Giving them another try today, different handler, but I was told the other handler has many years of experience. To be fair I will give it one more try. read more
